Hello guys quite a newbie here on the channel, I am a really harder player fo Skyrim. In my liffe I work as EN>ITA ES>ITA translator, and since I've just comleted a localization course I would love to test myself and my abilities translating some Skyrim mods in to italian. But I don't know how to begin from... I guess I have to ask the permission to the mod creator, but how to contact him/her? I am proficnet with MemoQ but i would sincerely need a step-by-step guide since it would be my first time evertranslating a mod. Obviously i will do the job for free. Thanks to whoever will hep me!!

[Suggestion] Disallow PTS Feedback channels to be open discussion forums on various users feedback, Current state encourages people to engage in debate to push the original feedback so far that it is difficult to even find the original post. This subverts the use of the starboard as a tool to show what users really want changed. Feedback should be debated, but should be debated only in the general discussion channel to keep the Feedback channels clear for everyone to see suggested feedback and to make appropriate use of the starboard.

Consider adding player questions channels for the various games covered on this server. Now I know that there is a couple of issues that could stem from this, so here are some ideas to help mitigate those: One, you can only enter one question at a time for a certain period, so no spamming. Two, the questions channels would only be open for limited time of a month, since the Devs are have plenty of other work that they need to deal with first. Three, have it spelled out in BIG BOLD LETTERS at the top of the channel and the pinned messages what the rules and guidelines for questions are. Lastly, Mods would have full authority on these channels, so if they tell you to stop it, no arguments.

Posts there go unanswered for days, and at this point the channel is just baiting people who don’t know better or don’t check post dates and times. That section isn’t even organized by game version, and since the game doesn’t support crossplay, it’s not even that useful board for more structured player groups.

Can the oblivion suggestions channel be removed or locked? If the game is still being worked on, there are surely enough suggestions that have been collected already to keep the devs busy for whatever the remaining developmen/support life cycle is. I think the continued existence of that channel is maybe doing more harm than good to players of the remaster by setting up potentially false expectations of continued development. And the state of the oblivion chat channel would hopefully go back to discussions about the content of the game instead of commiserating about the lack of updates

Suggestion for f76 suggestions as back to the forum style of the threads to have it so when someone creates a suggestion that it is allowed for 2 weeks and if that time goes by it shuts down, while still being able to like said suggestion. This is to prevent a suggestion from being bumped over and over again without anything new added to it.
Also make a bot be the first to respond in chat so likes and dislikes can be put there to better track as some folks do block others which can obscure like to dislike ratio and paint a false narrative.

Server Suggestion : LFG for FO76 is not really effective RN, and i wanted to suggest to ad server-specifick self-assigned roles that allow people to ping each other if they want to do certain content. Best example for it is a LFG raid tag so people can form raid groups as it is incredibly inconsistent RN to find one

Regarding the recent quest: So it looks like every developer in the world is gifting us away a borrowed reward for like 2 months. I find it a shame. I suggest Bethesda become example, and path the way by giving the vault icon to the people spending their time by watching that ad. Nitro gets enough money from them bundles, and I find it rude to let us borrow us teaser gift for sitting through that quest. I find this not to be a major thing to ask, even, if I found the trailer to be awesome. 🙆‍♂️

Tangential Discussions channel for the Fallout 76 PTS

Can we get a channel like that for the Fallout 76 PTS? A place where mods can move conversations that are outside the main scope of the tested changes. Sometimes users dive deep into minutiae and topics that are only tangentially related to what’s being tested. That information can still be interesting and valuable, but it ends up derailing the focus of the intended feedback channels and makes it harder for everyone to assess feedback and get a clear picture of what’s going on.

An in-game item trading channel for 76. Seems kinda self-evident why one is needed… considering there’s no channel in the first place, and a lot of plans are incredibly hard to find by simply server hopping and looking through different vendors, especially when it’s rather time consuming and difficult to hop every single good vendor in a single server without missing at least one due to the time taken. (Perhaps a thread channel so that it’s not hard to read through but the messages stay primarily where they can be moderated.)

Heck, the unofficial Elder Scrolls and Fallout Discords have them, as well as the official Discords for pretty much all the major studios in the Xbox games family. I think we're really missing out here not having one.

My recommendation would be either BETH or BGS for the tag itself but there are a lot of possibilities.

Suggestion: Revamp the Suggestions Channel. I’m thinking something like a forum based channel so its easier to keep track of what’s already been suggested . See the new format that the Nolvus mod collection is using in their Mod-Suggestions Discord for a reference. It makes it easy to see what everyone has contributed and includes the following: 1. a title for the suggestion 2. Spot for a link to a mod or similar reference regarding the suggestion, and lastly the description of said suggestion. This would also make it easy for the moderators to police repeat suggestions and for other members to either thumbs up 👍 or thumbs down 👎 based on their preferences

These things are constantly going off topic and/or the same handful of people taking over with their input and burying actual feedback. we're there to provide Feedback on the PTS, not justify our feedback to others or deal with trolls. the PTS-general-discussion channel can be used for any discussions, etc; but the Feedback forums need to be locked down to specific feedback and no replies/conversations

A big suggestion: Add a channel here for when people can't submit tickets on the website due to errors. I need to have my Xbox account unlinked from my Bethesda.net account. When I fill out the ticket, Bethesda's website gives me "Invalid ID: The first parameter to fetch must be either the long ID or the string LookupName to search for" as an error. I have used what I have as my Bethesda.net Username and also tried my Display name, just incase it works. Neither do.

Fable's official Discord (also in the Xbox developer family) got a server tag before we did - and they have around 4k members right now when we have almost 240k! Please consider implementing one. It's quite an easy thing to do and this is probably the only professional server I've ever seen of this size that simply has not taken the time to put one in.

EDIT: They have 5k now. They've been growing quickly since adding that tag.

How about adding a sort of weekly or biweekly blog post on the discord of what the team is working on in terms of upcoming updates and potential development plans. It’d be a good way to get engaged with the community more than “hey you need to follow rules and stuff” and the overall lack of communication we have been getting for some time but I will say the announcements category is sort of like that but it’s like very flawed only when updates release. It causes heavy amounts of superstition and rumors to circulate and then it leads to more complications for you guys cuz you guys have to jump in and shut it down.

While playing and watching the Fallout series, I thought it would be great for Bethesda to create an app that fans can use to receive notifications about pop-up camps in random locations—just like in Fallout. Fallout 76 Atom Shop feedback, bugs, and suggestions channels

Dedicated spaces for players to share their experiences, report issues, and suggest improvements or items they want to see added to the shop.

The Atom Shop is one of the main ways the game is funded and sustained, so it deserves a dedicated place for direct feedback on user experience, problems, and requests. Right now, that input gets mixed in with general game discussion in other channels and ends up getting buried.

A focused set of channels would help highlight strengths and issues more clearly, making it easier for changes to be acted on. This would improve the overall user experience with the shop and ultimately lead to better customer satisfaction, more sales and support for the game.

Sure, but the Pip-Boy system got a massive overhaul in the latest Fallout 76 patch. A change that big probably deserves its own dedicated space, since the issues tied to it are much more specific to the Pip-Boy itself and don’t really fall under the usual run-of-the-mill UI bugs we’ve seen in past patches.

And for that matter, there isn’t even a "UI bugs - The Backwoods" report channel, even though that’s another area that received changes in this update.

In Oblivion suggestions Dyno states that "Please post a maximum of one unique suggestion daily to avoid spamming the channel.". That isn't covered by the channel's pinned message. It should probably be added for consistency sake.

Suggestion: I think there needs to be a way for people to be able to comment on f-76 suggestions on why they dont like it or think there are issues with it. Ive suggested unlimited caps because its insane how many caps i make and yet i get 10+ thumbs down votes. why? wouldnt know, and ive asked in regular chat before but its generally not even the people that emoted thumbs down that respond. like, "close ur shop" isnt a good answer, thats not why we shouldnt have the ability to have unlimited caps one way or another but ill never know because no one that emotes thumbs down has anywhere to post physical comments to the suggestions.

Please combine the "Fallout 76 PTS News" and "Fallout 76 PTS" roles.
It seems pointless having them separate, and people can and have been confused over 1 role giving access to the 76 PTS chat rooms, but not the other.
If people join PTS, they should also be automatically be pingable with news announcements.

Trading in the pts is uncommon because of the fact there's no benefit and while I don't necessarily think the rule should be changed to accommodate it on the rules page I think it should be generally unenforced in the context of pts. The only reason to trade on pts is to test something and 90% of it is covered by the pts locker. However some weapons and things get changes but are not in the locker. Taking action against players on trading to test something on the pts makes the pts less effective as a test server. Imagine if they update the trade ui? Are we going to have to go elsewhere to document our testing of it?

Get rid of the #oblivion-suggestions channel. As a year has gone by and there's been no update. We were told the developers were using the channel apparently, but at this point it seems like gaslighting as there has been no update thus the suggestion tabs have not been utilised and has caused mass frustration for players.

Why is there no Morrowind Suggestions, Skyrim Suggestions, Arena Suggestions etc?

The reason is because the development team had ambitious plans for implementing updates, and now they've moved onto another project and the game has been abandoned.

We appreciated the optimism during the game launch but now, after a year has gone by, it's rubbing salt in the wound, many suggestions could have been achieved through mod support but for whatever reason, it has not been given official mod support at all.

So again, requesting that the Oblivion Suggestion channel is closed.

I agree with the above sentiment, when the Oblivion Remaster first came out it was an exciting time. When the suggestions channel opened up, I thought we would be getting regular updates and so forth. But basically no update since the game launched over a year ago. It's fine if you want to walk away from the game (I guess), but please communicate you do not intend to update the game so we can move on. Disappointing level of communication on the Oblivion Remaster

The discussion aspect (in regards of a PTS forum) will be good so long as the devs/cms participate in those discussions. A good back and forth between the people proposing the changes, and the people implementing the changes could do some great work for the game. It's just up to us as players to temper our demands to some reasonable things.

I have to correct you: It's impossible to moderate. Spoken words can only be recorded and not logged like text messages.
That's why the only way you can act upon Voice Chat violations is when you have actual proof of what has been said. We have some methods to ensure that no proof has been tampered with.

No, I talk like someone who recognizes what Discord is good at handling, and what it is not. And Discord is very much NOT good at handling the amount of traffic that they are insisting on it handle from here on out. I get that no amount of raging is going to change their mind. Now, my suggestion is that we should have a channel dedicated to Arthmoor's mods. Love or hate the official patch, it's hard to play without it because of how stable it makes the game. Todd Howard has also mentioned his love of the Open Cities mod before, too.

Arthmoor also made the recommendation of a creation club channel, which should be a thing, because some of them likely have players needing help and guides, and wouldn't be seen or properly belong in other chats

As much as I love New Vegas, I'd prefer a new experience. I, with ally life, want a Fallout Folsom game that starts in an NCR controlled Folsom Prison, has Johnny Cash radio songs, and allows you to play as different races and see how the world reacts to them, and even get locked out of factions, armors, and communities purely based off race. BGS could really have fun if they handled Fallout's setups like Elder Scrolls

Maybe even two human races, too. Vault Dwellers and wastelanders. Wastelanders have some perks to survive radioactive food and are more knowledgeable of the wastelands and how to blend in, while Vault Dwellers are more likely to be attacked and also more likely to be allowed into a settlement

I'm going to be that guy and suggest the PTS color role be set to default. Differentiating between us is in my opinion useless because of one reason: Human behavior. If people can be a different color than the norm they will, regardless of testing on the PTS. Even as one that has put in a ton of testing and appreciates it, the role itself has next to zero purpose other than a pat on the back to the small group who do test. It actually has a larger purpose to the majority who will simply choose it to be different.

The role has meaning and purpose to open the PTS side of the discord. It's why I suggest to just change the color. Those who PTS test should be happy with the role itself. There will still be some that choose the role just to have another role on their profile but that's a lot less than a distinctive purple.

There are three things I would like to see added to some of the channels in the Fallout76 tab.
The first is a suggestion or request that I would like to see implemented in the future.
The second is a plan for fixes and improvements.
The third is to report bugs that players are currently experiencing.
Please keep these three in separate channels if possible.
In particular, it would be great if requests and improvement plans could be in separate channels.

The reason is that the first request channel is for future changes.
The second one is for balancing the current situation.
The third is a channel for reporting bugs that have not been fixed from the past to the present.
And I'd like the roles of each channel to be separated so that the first is the future, the second is the present, and the third is the past.

Suggestion: add a Fallout 76 specific suggestions channel with a long slowmode cooldown. We all know that the best Fallout DLC content is always made in response to fan feedback- look no further than the Pitt, Far Harbor, Wastelanders, etc. With a channel specifically dedicated to soundboarding ideas, the team could benefit from the many excellent ideas the fans come up with for content and QOL updates to help the game reach peak quality.

Idea 1) Revamp the discord to place Fallout 76 last at the very bottom above =====MODDING===== as it has the largest section. I find having it smack in the middle, with how large it is, might turn people off. This suggestion is just nit-picky yes but could serve to make it look more presentable.

I'd have Starfield at the very top, followed by ESO, then the =FALLOUT= tab, and then Fo76 at the bottom.

Idea 2) Revamp the Suggestions tab. Make a Suggestion channel for each game. Preferably in the same order as the last.

2.a) Make Starfield disabled for the time being. Make it so you can only type once a day in the suggestion channels. Make it clear it's for suggestions only and not banter back and forth. Delete anything that's not a suggestion.

Idea 3) Remove the Purple from PTS role and Green from content creator role. They serve no purpose. I suggested this before and I will again. Half of those within the PTS role don't even log PTS. 99% of those with content creator role aren't creators of content.

As someone that is both a PTS tester and creates content, it's actually embarrassing more than anything. If I didn't need the PTS role to see the PTS channels I wouldn't have this role.

Make both the default color that everyone else has already. There's no need to make a special color for 99% of people that don't engage in what the purpose of the role is about. Those who PTS test won't stop cause they aren't a special color. Those who create content don't care about the green role since everyone else has it too.
