Bojack Horseman is fun but also sad a lot
Really great if you’re into Hollywood celebrities and gossip
Has wordplay to rival Letterkenny, no where near the pace though
Perhaps one day, I still have to finish all my backlogged shows first
Korea wont let me rest
I completely agree, but i think that's took a step over being a character someone would play in a video game. No protagonist in entirety of Fallout has had that many connects to so much.
He made vault boy, he met House, he gave cold fusion to the Enclave, unintentionally having something to do with dropping the bombs (since apparently the enclave drops the nukes now, a complete retcon to the classics)
And that's only a few things he's done in the show. If it wasn't canon, this could be excused more as a playthrough type situation, even if it's still outrageous..
I think that's ok. That's part of media, some protagonists having a wider role than others
If anything, I appreciate that they can go kind of wild with Goggin's character. The video game protagonists also end up accomplishing similar momentous feats but they're limited to the time and space their title takes place in for the most part
At the going rate, I don't think the identity will be revealed with any way at all.
With how people reacted to the alternate timeline Master Chief face reveal in the Halo series, I don't hold any confidence of the courier will have any reveal without the internet going rabid.
And probably not a gamble the producers will want to take.
The Courier showing up would be so lame imo. This ain’t about them
The latter part of this is definitely true.
The tv show is not their story.
Surely the cameo in the last episode was all that was needed.
I'd be happy just seeing a Mojave Express branch
When was this?
And yeah the courier shouldn’t be revealed.
When Maximus resorted to non-PA melee combat against the deathclaw, and he thought Thaddeus is who sniped it.
Bro that’s an NCR ranger not the courier 😂
Well they certainly made it look like the courier.
The courier doesn’t wear NCR gear, they’re just portrayed that way in media from the picture of the game. If anything it’d be the courier duster from LS.
Ok, whatever. Either way, I don't think they're going to risk any identity reveal of the courier.
@red forge @nocturne axle The one singular time the Courier's been definitively depicted in NCR ranger armor is in Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, which isn't necessarily canonizing that that's the Courier in the show because A. none of NV's own ingame depictions of the Courier have them in ranger armor (during the intro they're wearing a caravaneer outfit with a cowboy hat and work gloves) and B. NV depicts the Courier in more than one outfit.
They're not showing off the main character on the cover per se, they're showing off the new armor the main character can now wear as is Fallout tradition.
I really need to get around to playing more than 5 minutes of NV 😅
The main problem wasn't really the face reveal
It's that it was revealed for basically 95% of the show. He would put his helmet on for literally a couple minutes and then take it back off.
And they tried to push the "well you need to see their face because something something emotional connection" thing as if the Master Chief in main canon hasn't completely invalidated that for over two decades (as have many, many other characters from other works like the Mandalorian (SW itself goes all the way back to Darth Vader and droids like R2-D2 on that, and of course Boba Fett in the OT generally)). 80% of our communication is through body language.
They didn't need to show his face, and nothing they showed in general was all that compelling.
Frankly the Mandalorian is the operative work here because it was already ongoing when Halo came out. Halo had no excuse.
Halo was just appauling
Mandalorian is on the franchise timeline.
Halo took an alternative timeline.
That has nothing to do with my point
Even if the Halo show as part of the main canon, it was still majorly messing up with its depictions of pretty much everything.
Again, they were trying to push "you have to see their faces" as if the Mandalorian wasn't right there disproving that.
When we do see Djin's face, it's earned and situational. When he finally resolves to taking his helmet off by choice, it's because he's developed as a character over multiple season to reach that point.
MC meanwhile makes a point of keeping it on for the most part. He does take it off on occasion, but for practical purposes it is his face. Everyone else might have their helmets off and he'll just be the one dude sitting there still in full armor, because that's what he knows as a person.
He's literally the face of the Spartans in multiple ways.
Instead we get master cheeks
But it's the point I was making.
@sturdy tundra don't get dragged down by New Vegas stans man, they will never like the show, it is what it is. Can't fight emotion with logic. I respect the effort though 🤝
And I did like series 1 despite its flaws so nice try
That's a really bad-faith argument to make, regardless if you're right or not.
Badmouthing other people just invites more arguments.
I suggest that everyone move on from arguing about the tv show. It's fine to keep discussing it, as that is what this channel is for, but the arguments back and forth have run their course.
such good acting in this scene haha

[Lore Accurate Fallout New Vegas Ending]
This video is just a jest so don't be to offended as I meant no harm.
Just the Fallout New Vegas canon ending based on how
the Youtube comments have described it after watching
The Fallout TV Show from Amazon.

Lol saw that, it was excellent
I don’t think I can do polls in this channel, but I have a question for everyone! If someone in the main 3 were to be killed off in the show, who would you choose/not mind as much as the others?
Ghoul =
Lucy =
Maximus
Sorry maximus but I didnt care for you in s2 compared to s1
Apologies for the morbid question, I’m just curious and thought it would be fun to ask
Mind you lucy nearly didnt make the cut
Lol for real though!!
Norman's plotline really f ed me off, i was very interested in where it could have gone but it ended up a nothing burger
Lucy getting on my NERVES with her nonsense! The way she was incorrectly nagging the Legion.. why didn’t they kill her immediately
Plot armor
I think that’s a general complaint with the show
I also hate how dumb the BoS have become, s1 I actually liked the idea behind them being a religious cult
S2 they have moron paladins gunning down pre war tech for lolz, pissing around with live grenades with their higher ups present and having nobody guard the cold fusion so anyone can just steal it
I actually dislike the cult like idea. I think them extremely strict was enough, and it shows their inability to change and adapt which leads to their downfall west coast
Understandable
But you’re right idk what they were thinking with the BOS anyways. They seem awfully chill for things like paladins playing around with grenades, exploding pre war tech, etc.
Makes you wonder how they got so far
Yea it's a mess which is a shame
when religion turns radical or get close to it education is one of the first things to suffer. they couldn't even relate well to other chapters near them. those other chapters had all degraded in their own ways as well.
all the leaders who cared about their mission were the brave ones who died for the cause for one reason or another. that leaves the morons to take over resulting in the current mess.
to be fair, a lot of the competent ones probably died in the Season 1 finale.
I mean, the Ghoul took down like half a dozen of them in Power Armor.
Also reminder that the BOS has been decaying since the original game. They'd already largely forgotten Roger Maxson's actual ideals the first time we ever see them.
Likewise their authoritarian takeover was literally their F1 ending if Rhombus died. And whether or not he canonically survived F1, he's probably long dead by now (assuming he isn't a ghoul which would be its own can of worms).
The BOS aren’t actual morons.
Almost all of them the entire time 1-NV they are intelligent even after losing most of their men to the NCR during the battle of Helios One, but are very strict in following the rules of the Codex which involves isolation, and makes them “stupid” in that way. That doesn’t mean they’re morons-morons, like they would blow up tech for no reason morons. That goes against the very point of the Brotherhood.
And even if you do excuse it as “they only have stupid people now” which is a gigantic stretch, how can you possibly explain the stupidity of the Legion and NCR? Did all the main factions get dumb within a span of 15 years?
These and so many more questions have been rattling around my mind like an Armor piercing round in power armor
"Is everyone blind AND stupid?" - Mr. Plinkett
Bad education is one thing, a complete lack of common sense is another 😔
oh man.. imagine if you could watch the tv series in IMAX theatre.. that would be awesome. Imo, it's already very cinematic as is.
I bet you 1000 bottle caps this will fail harder that the "Star wars experience" that Disney created
Walter Goggins looking dapper in there
Same for Frances Turner - she looks the part
If you want an immersive Fallout experience just take a wander over into some of the places around the Salton Sea, especially after dark.
Actually don't. Just don't do that. Just go to the normal and sane places around there during the day.
At night some of that area is literally the wild west.
I'll bring my T-51 winterized power armor 😄
So did everyone get their season 2 steelbook order from Amazon delayed?
aaron paul plays the courier in season 3 totally
Interesting! Went back to check this poll and it’s a tie between Ghoul and Maximus. If anyone hasn’t put in their votes, go on ahead! But either way, interesting choices indeed..
Hi currently watching season 2 of the fallout series. Why did they switch out the German shepherd in season 1 to a Belgian malinoi in season 2 of the TV show?
There were three seperate dogs that played dogmeat in S1, the one in S2 is one of those dogs that was used in the earlier episodes.
I may of missed the 3rd dog. but why switch them so much?
shrugs I'd guess it depends on the availability.
None of the dogs in the show are german shepherd, but they're a cousin breed.
Like what breeds because dogmeat a German shepherd in was curious as to why not keep the sane dog its just noticeable that's all
My understanding is the intended breed has never been made clear, just like Dogmeat's origin(s) overall in the series.
The breed in FO4 is a german shepherd because it's modelled directly on the pet of one of the devs.
Dogmeat isn't even the same dog across the games. And Dogmeat in Fallout 1/2 was not a german shepherd based on old art of it.
Also, the inspiration for Dogmeat to begin with, was a Cattle dog.
In all likelihood Dogmeat is canonically a super mutt
I can’t imagine there’s a huge demand for pure pet pedigree post apocalypse
Easier to have multiple dogs, for scheduling.
