We aren't doing anything crazy, just catching what all the player was wearing. The issue only seems to occur if that option is enabled in Engine Fixes.

PlayerRef.UnequipAll removes all clothing from the player by design. Are there any Armor or Weapon form vanilla UnequipAll keeps equipped on the player? What outfit stays equipped if you disable this option in the Engine Fixes INI?
Oh right yeah, the issue is it isn’t getting them recorded in that event, the issue isn’t with the equip event. I’ll get a video to help clarify and DM you.

@true igloo I was wondering if these are scripted to put a bounty on me. When I reached Sector 5 in the Vigilance facility, killing some hostiles, then shooting at the beam turrets, I just received a bounty.
Does Vigilance have their own jurisdictions?
Or is it kinda something to do with the Orion I’m using? Because I was loading to one of my recent saves, using a different weapon, and I got no bounty

ContentResources.zip is the same after the update just FYI, so no changes to script sources, materials, etc.

Both Xbox and PS5 🙂 It's in the Settings -> Gameplay Options. I made sure to write very descriptive info on the options!
Grav lanes, as well as 2 other unrelated mods (More Visualized Docking, and the 'Into the Void Bug Fix' mod) were each on their own in various positions in my load order causing a crash during game load before even getting to the main menu.
Was bummed especially for Grav Lanes and More VIsualized docking causing crashes. I was looking forward to trying those out
Thank you for this advice. I too have to uninstall because it is interfering with the Tracker's Alliance Bounty Board. I've noticed that the Freestar Rangers board hasn't been offering hunt this ship missions anymore since install. Possibly related?

Different things, Ba2/archive limit means you reached the maximum amount of mods with external assets
I did just see there's an option in engine fixes to check that for me as well. once the rest of my key mods get updated I'll toggle that on and see if that's the culprit

Its best to point out the texture and main ba2s are seperate counts and you can have way more texture ba2s so the limit is super manageable
Anyone have any issues with the useful brigs creation? I’m noticing that when I restrain a bounty and send them to the brig, they dont show up in the brig when I board my ship, if i leave the ship to go talk to security, i dont get the option anymore either. creations are updated

Looks like the last upload of StarUI Inventory to creations didn’t go as planned- inventory UI stays vanilla no matter what: changing in-game settings, reloading save with changed settings. OR I definitely don’t understand something)), please advise.

Star wars relies on sfse, and as such it can never come to xbox or ps5 without massive overhaul - and possibly just can't be done

Anyone know of a fix to a problem or mine? So everytime I boot up the game, previously updated mods (in this case SPE and several of Korodic mods) are reverted back to the previous version and the Update tab in creations show an Update is available

You need to have slightly more patience when it comes to SFSE mods, they often need to be updated for a new SFSE version. Engine Fixes only just got updated for 1.16.242 about 20 minutes ago, Transfer Ships isn't ready yet.

You know those white plastic fridges in the game, with blue insides? He has those in many colors, and they're storage.
Also since they're decor, you can place stuff inside them normally for display, like drop it and move it, and still use them also for storage. I like to drop a couple of things in there to show what I'm putting inside.
If you are using this and Falklands on PC or Xbox, I have a patch that removes the invisible barrier outside of the Falklands HQ that gets added by RNAT due to the Falklands office being inside the vanilla structure that's there.

I'd say most of the paid mods which were affected have been updated, in terms of free mods its kinda random it really depends on what free mods you were using and whether or not that mod was updated by the creator. None of my mods required an update so it also depends on the mod, alot of mods don;t even need an update post free lanes. In terms of paid mods you can probably asks specifics on here and people are normally more than willing to let you know (Most of the mod authours for verified creations are on here anyways).
Most of the reason mods needed updating with the DLC was to work with the new systems. Some mods might need an update for the hotfix but it won't be nearly as many - most creations and mods will work now.

You remove the Mesh for the colors. You have a Boost Pack invisible. JMPZ11 did that for a Ladderless Ladder bay. Also on Nexus Inquisitor did "Glass Transparent Starborn Guardian Ship" Basically the exterior of the ship mesh removed.
It would be nice if you had that option on a workbench - Make invisible. But that is probably to complicated tbh.

Look in the box on the counter at EIT that holds all the items from the mod. In my game most of the new NA Fashion and Dropcrotch outfits weren't available for sale from the salesman, but were in the box.

probably means the issue where Milli the milliwhale pet from the House Sitting quest gets permanently assigned as a companion and follows you around forever

Well, I kinda tried everything, but one solution I hate doing was killing it without getting caught
I used a high ground with a suppressed sniper rifle and shot it.
I didnt want to kill it either, I ended up using console commands

This is driving me nuts. For some time I've had the Creations Menu telling me to update creations despite updating them. This time I finally just deleted all the creations the Creations Menu was calling for updates on. I then redownloaded and reinstalled all the creations. Now the Creations load order menu still has version numbers showing they've been reverted back to a prior version. How is that even possible? I downloaded the new versions!
It's almost like the ContentCatalog has been bugged since Creations launch and they never really needed updates...
I hate how ubiquitous the Combatech guns are in here.
Like, every class of weapon is covered by Combatech, sometimes twice, and it just... Feels weird.
Especially when you take into account that Allied Armaments is supposedly the top dog arms manufacturer, at least in UC space.
Is there any way to modify weapon spawn rates to counteract that without needing a major overhaul?
Then you have Arboron with 2 weapons on the market and a custom one that may or may not count
Heck, there's only two guns in vanilla using .27 caliber!

Finally had a chance to check after updating mods after the game patch and toggled on the BA2 counter feature in Starfield Engine Fixes, sure enough that's what's causing the crash/fatal error

I'm glad I got directed towards ba2 limits being what could cause the crash leading to main menu at launch. I'm now sad because that means I've reached a bit of a limit with what I can add in, got some mods I wanted to try w/o ba2s so they're fine, but now I'll have to see if any new stuff I want to try is worth disabling an old mod for lol
that and the engine fixes toggle/log for pointer handle reference limits I feel like will be useful to remember to check periodically
Just realized a large chunk of ba2's that just ate up some of my limit are spacesuit skin mods and that some of them have loose file versions, but not sure I want to shift to loose file options or not.
If you're on PC it doesn't make much of a difference
I at least was going off the limited modding knowlege i picked up with fallout and skyrim where loose files weren't the ideal if using a lot of do to having them packed into a ba2 archive was generally much better on performance.
I have a fairly decent rig, but also quite a few mods in place so the easier I can make everything on loading and performance the better lol.

No - Unless you can use SFSE - the main mod that allows that uses SFSE. Its on Nexus. Once you have it - you can put it in a mod to share - or add to a vendor for purchase, etc. Its an export and import - which default SF program is not happy with. But if someone has gotten it to work on PS5 - I want to know.

It's as accurate as you could get without ripping assets, honestly.
One thing I do wish it had is a unique Eon that hints towards the Dying Night/M-10 Lexington MOD 2, but that's just me.

Hello, I will soon begin the process of uploading my free mods to a new account dedicated to free mods. I will remove the free mods from my main account after giving players a chance to swap. ESM names will remain the same, therefore players will be able to change the mods without affecting saves.

Hey all! Question about Korodic’s mod Fleet Commander, wanted to be sure I was understanding the crew management mechanics.
I’m noticing that ALL of my crew members I’ve ever recruited end up stuck on my ship basically permanently. I have three ships but only use one of my ships; I haven’t dipped my toes into the fleet mechanics yet.
Normal Bethesda behavior would have Unassigned crew members get off at the nearest port and go on their own way, but with Fleet Commander enabled, I’ve noticed they just…get back on when I’m up in space.
I can’t get rid of Heller and Lin! They just won’t leave 😂 They have been on my ship for like 40 hours after I unassigned them. Is this intended behavior? Am I missing something with the fleet management terminal? Appreciate any insight!

Question! I started the Sammys lab of nightmares! After the initial quest I get a pop-up and questlog stating there is no stress to go free Sammy since there is always work to do at the Campus! Even the Admin of the facility states as much, say I should ask around. Yet I cannot find any tasks to do whatsoever
Is it meant to be played like I free Sammy and then the mod open up more in terms of missions etc
So, do I just ignore the fact the Creations in my load order are displaying the wrong version number?

I've been getting a lot of requests to upload this mod or that to Nexus, so maybe I'll just upload the whole library in the next week or so.
I held off to avoid adding too many steps to each mod update, but I've slowed down on updates anyway so maybe it's good timing.
File a bug report to Bethesda, but yeah until they fix it. Creations will randomly show you things need updates when they don't.
Is it normal to have paid creations disappear from "my library" section if its uninstalled? I found that some did and show back as being unpaid but if I click back on it the page for it changes to show as being owned then appears again in the "my library" section.
I’ll look it over. They should follow the vanilla dismissal system and should be part of disembarking crew. The next update has a feature to help move them off instantly as an alternative.

Ok, I did the latest update on PC, updated SFSE and all the other pieces. Now I get a massive stutter/pause at loading screens and some vendors no longer work. I try to talk to them and the buy/sell menu just does not show up. Additionally, none of my hotkey toggle items work. I cannot open my landing ramp. I cannot tell my ship to take off. I cannot open my vehicle inventory. I cannot toggle my suit ability....
UC out here cleaning up the galaxy for future generations.

FYI: Don't make crazy changes to your inis when they are being overriden then disable the overrides to find out you've really screwed something up

That’s what the goal was! I was trying to align the visuals more with the base game space suits. Clunky and nasa-punk
Had a long pause, so starting over and looking for some mods. Hopefully if they are on the creations for simplicity, but nexus is also an option.
1: Anything that makes npc´s live and work better than default. I would love to see npc´s walk around, work on things in big shipbuilding areas or in mines, have them move around, eat drink and basically have a life in the world.
2: Balance so money is actually hard to earn, loot is less and you need to focus on what you drag back, and xp that makes leveling a long term commitment, not just leveling up every 5 minutes because you ate an orange and walked 5 steps.
3: More immersive weather, longer storms and also a lot more impactful storms as well. Basically, imagine an ice planet where you REALLY need that special suit and that base heater. Default always felt like even the most basic suit shielded you from all.
4: Less ammo, weapons, armor, suits...basically less of everything. I know it´s possible to just ignore things left and right, but i would prefer to just see less of it all instead. I miss the feeling of conserving ammo and taking care of your gear and really feel you get lucky when you finally find that " one thing " instead of just a container of " epics " overflowing in the ships every storage unit you have.,
5: Better and more intelligent npc´s and followers, especially in combat. Taking cover, using grenades, covering fire etc.
6: Ways to turn off lights in habs, place lights where you want them, and to control how strong the lights are.
7: Walls in short. I never understood why bases never had walls ort protection to encase your camps with.
8: Any timer that can make the planet to planet deliveries of material come every real time hour or every 4´th hours or so instead of once a minute. Basically any mod that extends the time on deliveries, crafts by factories etc would be of interest.

I saw some mods as well to prolong the shattered space and those expansions so to say to start later than by default. Is such a mod a good plan to get as well? Don´t feel like being stressed into starting those later on until i really wish to play them.

Are these handled differently with Starfield than they were in Fallout4/skyrim for example? I feel like I had way more stuff loaded into the modlists I have on both of those games compared to Starfield. Does starfield currently not support as many ba2 archive files?
Its identical to fallout 4's limit. Unsure on Skyrim. But with starfield performance is terrible with loose files (and creations can't have loose files) so more mods have ba2's

Skin packs with ba2 texture archives at least shouldn't be an issue which I mistake all the skin set mods for spacesuits I added over the last few weeks were causing it but forgot their ba2 files were texture archives
I have a curious issue, I have been getting other achievements, like incursion related ones, but I dont seem to get the one for quantum hoarder even though I built the thing and have stuffed it three times and picked my things from there.

True. One of the ideas I was prototyping was spacewalk jobs as in lets say you stop get outside your ship and start scrapping ships but not sure if people are even interested in radiant quests (I know I am)
how would we get outside the ship to begin with? For people to really use something like that there would need to be a dockable airlock for the transition, a makeshift chopshop thats like docking port, 1x1 hab and airlock.

Honestly I would love it if there was a special docking module that came with a little mining ship attached. Allows you to undock the mining ship from your main ship and then conduct mining operations, then redock.

It really ticked me off when they nuked the comment section for the mods. That was totally unreasonable.
A little lander shuttle would do wonders for those in the community who love to build giant capital ships.
I don't want to get into it too much or I'm sure posts will just get removed. But a VC provably took parts of one of my mods on Creations and posted it as theirs. In support tickets I specified what, and how I knew the files had come from my mod. Bethesda claimed there was nothing they could do without a take-down request, so I submitted one, referring to the proof provided. The VC has now responded, it's predictably guff and includes "instructions" about how they just happened to make identical files and choices to mine. If Bethesda actually followed the instructions they provided in their counter claim they'd know the files would be different, and I cited an example on Nexus proving that as well. But now that's apparently the end of it, Bethesda will do nothing without a court order, not even verify whether what was claimed is true. So upload mods to Creations at your own risk guys, they can be stolen with impunity.

Agreed. That’s kinda my mindset. I don’t think it’ll be feasible to keep landing a big ole ship each and every time I have to go to a planet. The fuel needed to land and take off would be crazy. Instead, give us a smaller cruiser that can fit three or four to take to the planet’s surface.
Unpopular opinion, here, but I think using the Oracle as a guide, we could have a capital ship that is (from the game's point of view) a star station that is customizable and build able like any other ship (or existing space station mods) using M-class components and then you just have your little shuttle that you routinely fly around (within the star system), which does not have a grav drive.
If you want to go to another system, you fast travel or dock back to your main "ship" and initiate a grav jump from there.
Or just make it smart enough that if you do a grav jump, the game automatically moves your shuttle and the capital ship to the new star system and dumps the player somewhere near the capital ship.
Maybe I will now that I'm getting a bunch of pings and dm's because there's a top post on reddit showcasing the Explore space creation lmao

Unfortunately if you don’t want to take legal action nothing can happen to prove it and it is up to you not BGS. This stuff sucks but just want to let you know can’t harbor bad feelings towards bgs for following the law
You should at minimum specify the pieces stolen. Spread the awareness. Maybe they won't remove, but word travels fast, and if people are paying for stolen assets, they should be made aware. 🤔 I'm all for the transparency, let's call the duck a duck.

Um anyone know a did the mod author of Intrinity Auroworks fix the Xbox problem with the mods ID at all or something crashing it on xboxs main menu and maybe PS. She or he a recently updated it but a deosnt fix the problem Xbox and maybe PS has with the mod being installed and adjusted going to the main menu of Starfeild. It simply crashes the game and never let's anyone on console reload the game without wipping everything

They did not recently update it, check the year on that "recent" update. However, TheOGTennessee released a patch that fixes it.

@surreal storm Hi not sure if you know but the Treasure dig sites are not working on PS5. When I click on the X the chest does not appear. Plus question about rare starshard that grants skill point can it spawn on all planets? The creation is tiny reasons to explore. Plus in tiny reasons to explore too the flooded outpost loot chest is empty. Other than a few hiccups they are both great creations.

When adding mods in creations, how much does it arrange the loadorder itself? I am thinking 2 mods i have are either underperforming or not working.
Basically not at all, with the exception that mods upon which it depends will be activated if not, and this may cause them to be placed extremely high even if that's a horrible idea.
You should use the Load Order screen under Creations to arrange them properly yourself, or if on PC you can edit the Plugins.txt file directly.
On PC. Gonna have to look up how all this worked again. Been years since.
Shoot, on PC use MO2 and let the Plugins tab auto sort with LOOT.
That is a terrible idea and will wreck your game.

Loot just guesses on load orders due to the lists it uses only being updated by hand by volunteers. So only oblivion is truly safe to use loot, even skyrim is usually 6 months out of date so any mod less than 6 months old is just the algo guessing. On starfield and fallout 4 its even further than 6 months out of date. It should only be used for sanity checks if its used (which isn't even required since mo2 already sanity checks and won't let you set illegal load orders). If it has worked its likely that you just didn't realize what was broken, or far less likely you got lucky but the thing with luck is it runs out

Hey y'all. I had a mod concept I wanted to discuss here a bit and see what people think.
I'm wanting to make a mod, or even a series a mods, that add new settlements across the settled systems belonging to the UC or the FC. A name I have in concept for it is Human Expansion Expanded.
For these settlements, they'd be like other small to mid-sized towns / cities beyond just Akila or New Atlantis. I'm not entirely sure what their gameplay purposes would be other than roleplay, which is something I'm open to suggestions for.

I have some outfit items that have secondary attributes on them. You can switch those at the workbench, but I want it to be very expensive. If I am going with Astra as the cost, what amount would you think is much without being too much? Like what amount would make you go "oh this is a lot but I'd pay it if I really want to switch the attribute"?

Can anyone help me figure out why the base game ships I can buy from vendors do not have habs in them? Just empty spaces. Additionally, I cannot buy any of the base habs. They are just not in any ship services guys inventory.
Where should I put Place Doors Yourself and TN Separated Categories? I have narrowed it down to those two mods. No matter where I put them, I cannot see default habs/weapons. They just do not show up. Ships in the stores have empty holes where habs should be.
Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling TN Separated Categories fixed it.

I am trying to understand why in the hell the Ecliptic Outfitted mod still won’t show any of the outfits. They will appear as floating heads. All of PilgrimCreations Outfitted mods work except for that one specifically. It’s driving me insane. I just deleted it and redownloaded it and it still doesn’t work correctly.
I also have Ecliptic and Crimson Fleet spacesuit retexture mod and I’m wondering if that’s conflicting as this issue ONLY happens on planets without breathable atmospheres.

You can have an argument with the guy, make fun of the guy, ignore the guy, but he'll never be convinced no matter what proof you give him. It's supposed to be frustrating like talking to a flat earther.
...unless you're a Starborn. At which point you can tell him the real story of Earth's downfall and finally change his mind, maybe convince him to join your crew considering he ruined his local reputation and just wants to get away from it all.

Yes lol. Gameplay Settings doesn't allow you to change hotkeys or do anything more advanced. It also gets very crowded with a bunch of mods.
If every modder is using them, finding settings to tweak is a pain. That and they don't persist across saves iirc.

Ok, so I'm playing The Veil paid creation and I'm stuck. After I talk with Agent Blue to find Emily's location after the encounter with the alien I don't get a location or quest for the Encrypted Slate he wants from Genesis. Please help.
I had the same problem, then figured out it was two different Clothing mods (from different modders) not working together. Which clothing mods are you using, including undergarments?

Actually it’s a backlog of a bunch of mods being made available on PlayStation on Starfield
Perhaps the people who do QA for Bethesda and a handful of other companies were busy with the giant potentially game-breaking update to Fallout.
Or the large update coming for Starfield soon.

Anyone know if Pilgrim's Settled Systems Outfitted are REPLACERS or ADDITIONS? Because I think they look awesome, but I really like a lot of the vanilla outfits and don't want to mess with them.

Got some updates coming for my space suit mod! I found a cool way to edit the sleeves so they look more sealed. I also slapped on some knee pads and the little arm pad to try and sell the fact that this is a spacesuit version of the security guard armor.

Sometimes a quest can't start due to something like an alias fill failure, which even a force-start won't fix.
Usually in that case you'll need to use a scroll from the previous quest in that quest line to set up the proper conditions for that quest to start (maybe also with the scroll), before that previous quest is completed, or use a scroll to force-start the next quest in the quest line (though that can get messy).

I would turn off the black lingeria and alternate underware mods then do a repair to see if it fixes it. Just as a place to start. The way I figured out what was causing my problem, was start a new game with all mods off then turn on 5 at a time to see when it came back

Is there any mod that made items far more expensive due to inflation? Again, I kinda run my game as a gritty, dystopian future military space drama.
Question for those with TGs Galactic Harvest: I was under the assumption that collecting the DNA of an alien would allow you to grow said alien at your outpost and harvest the same material as those found in the wild; however, when collecting Pack Vulture DNA for adhesives and growing them from eggs, I collected Neurologic from them. Is this a bug or are we not guaranteed the same organic material from a farmed alien? If the latter, is there an alien that does farm adhesive with Galactic Harvest?

As to what can produce adhesives: Plants: Sweetwater Cactus, Swamp Bottle Root, Abyss Pine Seedling, and Star Bloom Root. Creatures: Pack Vulture, Brainsprout Grazers, Beetles and Gliders, Cricket and Crocodolacalpse. You would need to ask TG about the mod. Hope this helps.

I believe she has some outpost items you can place that produce common materials, and I'm fairly certain Adhesive is one of them, but I can't log on right now to check.
@regal plume I have a public apology to make. It was NOT StarUI Ship Builder that was preventing the ship modify/purchase menus. I had an extremely outdated version of SVF, even though I updated it after the Free Lanes update. Sorry for the confusion and misinformation. I will be adding StarUI ship builder back to my LO.
That is an issue - all the mods need to be up-to-date. Yet Creations has an issue - they have not fixed - where it says a lot of mods need updating when they do not. If you use a mod handler (MO2/Vortex) you do need to check on the mods there. It is something I have just scheduled - consistently -for my Starfield play. <shrug>
There’s so many problems with various mods post-freelanes, we’re all playing whack-a-mole. It’s no worries. I’m just glad you tracked it down!

Console is fine. Like I am converting my older desktop (Backup) to Linux MInt. So far it is doing great. I have always been Windows. So it is something new for me. I am just not wired for the Console gaming - tried on several friends.
It’s much cheaper than a fancy high end PC that I would be completely out of my league with maintaining.

Three years and I’ve never been through the Unity. The furthest I’ve made it in the MQ is the mission after High Price to Pay. And I’ve never had it that bad on that mission because I have a mod that prevents death.
I’ve never beat any Beth game. I think the closest I’ve been to beating the MQ in any Beth game was the paradise mission in Oblivion. I forgot the name of the mission.
