I've been talking with other gamers and we would like to be able to play the roles of bad guys in the game with bad guy loadouts. For instance, I want to play as a super mutant with its own types of loadouts, other gamers want to try other bad guy roles.
Next, we would like new weapons that take the game to a new more interesting level.
Also, we want different weather patterns, like snowfall, tornadoes, hail, acid rain, etc.
Make acid a little easier to farm and while I'm on the subject the bad guys aren't dropping as much conversion materials as they used to in nuked zones making it harder to create ultrcite ammo without borrowing it from a friend.
Most of my legendary drops now are power armor pieces, dial that back a bit.
3* enemies still dropping one and two star stuff and rarely an actual 3*.

Any thought about enabling threads on these channels? I've never used it so I really don't know if it's a good thing or not, but I see that happening on other discords I'm in. IIRC, threads might give some people more of that forum-like experience they're missing and make it easier to track conversations on particular topics. EDIT: sorry, just saw post right above me asking the same thing. There you go ... 🙂

Until the Creation Club channel is officially created, I think enabling threads is the best solution for discussing Creation Club in #skyrim-chat #fallout-4-chat . We will stop being trapped in #skyrim-chat #fallout-4-chat and we will be able to discuss the Creation Club.

Should have one for live game bug reports and feedback/suggestions. That way people can see a dev chime in on something it's really interesting and being passed on, or if it's been discussed before and won't happen. Instead of directing people to fill out a ticket which feels like it's not being heard. The same for live bugs that have been reported, we can see an acknowledgement that it's going to be fixed, or is being looked at. I feel that would help the community a bit more than directing people to fill out a ticket. My two caps.

I think that they never will do it because bugs always returns and most annoying and important ones never fixed (fast travel bug for example). Only empty promises from part of dev team to tell others about this a really necessary thing. I lost any hope in all of this.

Discord will force bots to work with the slash commands only, effective on April 2022 and will put some more limits on bots. It seems implied that features like automod may be impossible or intended by Discord to be impossible from April 2022. Passing this along here since this server uses auto mod for things like profanity filter. And since this is a verified server, it might be possible to give feedback about the upcoming changes and about what it would mean if bots largely couldn't be helpful for moderation anymore(other than kick/ban commands). As a suggestion you might want more moderators when these changes go through, if things like profanity, links, etc will from then on require manual deletion by a moderator.

How about we get something like an apparel dresser or wardrobe that could ONLY hold Apparel Items in Fallout 76? Something with no counter on space so it was possible for us to collect all the apparel outfits in the game and not have to worry about all the S.T.A.S.H. space it eats up. Something akin to the crafting bag they have in ESO would be nice, only in the form of a Dresser or Wardrobe piece of furniture for our C.A.M.P.S.

Only people that can delete posts are bethesda people and their moderators. If you're referring to users being able to delete their own posts, that's not going to change. It's literally part of discord and cannot be altered. Only thing to do be done in that case is to have a bot logging deletions and edits and for all we know they have one.

A suggestion for moderation methods:

To be clear, I'm not complaining about the action itself, just the method.

I've gotten a warning apparently for something I said in the past 14 hours? Wish I knew what it was.

That'd be convenient to figuring out what I said and could avoid saying it in the future. In most other servers if you violate some rule, they warn you saying which rule you violated. The Fallout section's method seems to be
"delete the message, have the bot send you a warning with no context"

my suggestion is:
something like... quote what the user said in the warning so they know what specifically isn't allowed. Otherwise you're left wondering when the post is gone and 8-10 hours in the past.

My suggestion is this:
Have the Game devs give us updates on the Progress of more content for Fallout 4 and set a day, maybe once a month, where users can ask said game devs about things they would like to see implemented.

I've done something similar on another server with a series of rules that everyone plays by to avoid abuse.

Fallout 4 maybe an older game by now, but it isn't dead, there are things that players would like to directly as the devs if they can implement into the game such as a function Fallout 3 Assault rifle and rename of the vanilla to Light Machine gun, expanding what you can do with the Minutemen and BOS, things like that.

I enjoy Fall out but one thing I see missing is there are no families/ kids in the game you can have conversations with except in the Green Jewel no real talks there say for information gathering from families/kids like in real life. Does not matter if there was a war small villages with families/children do exist. Even after world war 1 & 2 there were familie/kids.

On the one hand, you're right.

On the other hand, Bethesda has a long-standing track record of flaunting their community, and having a suggestions channel would not just re-build rapport back with the community, but it would also prevent people from continually filling this channel with it when it clearly doesn't belong. Especially now that the forums (which did have a suggestions category) are dead.

As such, I too am for the creation of an in-game suggestions channel.

Add a section for us to report fallout 76 bugs in the live game, since all of our main REAL problems and concerns keep getting swept under the rug through the guise of “it’s not apart of the PTS” then make a channel for us to report on live problems in the live version of the game! If the forums were removed in favour of discord then make it work, and take our feedback seriously. Please. It’s been 3 years.

I didnt know where to post this, but it seemed like the right place. Can you create topics with subject lines, like on the old Bethesda forum? Discord is so hard to navigate and just appears to have different sections where you can chat. I don't understand why Bethesda and other game companies are moving to Discord. I'm inclined to agree with this. My experience as a moderator has taught me that some people will post wherever they feel like it, no matter how a forum or channel is labeled. Some don't pay attention and some don't even care. There was one guy in the old forums who continually created mod threads in Skyrim General. The guy kept it up even after I sent him a PM asking him to stop.

The name of this channel has already been changed once to make it clearer. Sadly, I doubt that a second change of name will have any better effect than the first.

I mean, Bethesda owns the rights to the Fallout intellectual property, and it's not like anyone can sue them or Discord for making a channel about Fallout: New Vegas (as an example). I'm sure people would like to talk (not complain or report a bug, but make a regular conversation) about old Fallout games, interesting mods and the rest.

Over 2 months ago we were told we would get a better way to submit bugs and suggestions for fallout 76 than a discord chat channel(see pinned message in fo76 suggestion), but we are still stuck with raw discord chat conversations to post suggestions/bugs. It feels like its just a empty grave that we as players can dump our feedback/bugs into and they likely will never see the light of day or even be ready by FO76 management... For anyone that has watched the channel longer than two minutes, the same posts/requests are posted almost every day.

I have a suggestion, could there be a “Fallout 76 Atomic Shop Item Suggestion” channel? It would be a great resource for 76’s Monetization Designers to get inspiration for new atomic shop content as it would make it much easier for the Designers to find these ideas. Currently, all atomic shop suggestions are spread out over multiple different channels in the discord and mixed in with a bunch of stuff unrelated to the atomic shop. Making a designated channel for suggestions would make the lives of the Monetization Designers much easier as they wouldn’t have to scour the entire fallout 76 section of discord for what they’re looking for. It would also probably be a good idea to at least tell the 76 Monetization Team that you made the channel for them in the event it is approved just to make sure they all know the channel exists
