Abusive Language

Abusive language and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes comments directed at ZeniMax/Bethesda employees, mods, your fellow community members, or other groups or companies.
Abusive language includes slurs or discriminating speech in all forms, including but not limited to religion, creed, national origin, gender, age, or lifestyle.

Refrain from using any LGBTQIA+ words in a derogatory manner.

Refrain from using any words on the mental health spectrum in a derogatory manner.

Harassment, including witch-hunting, doxing, or the disclosure of personal information without the disclosed party’s consent, is strictly prohibited.

Disruptive behavior also includes deliberately spreading conspiracy theories or false info about ZeniMax and its game studios, games, or employees.

Accusations of Misconduct

We do not allow public accusations that others have broken the rules, or are otherwise acting inappropriately. Constructive disagreement is fine, but accusing someone of trolling tends to escalate the problem, and accusations of lying are usually inflammatory. If you feel someone is breaking the rules, please report them via ModMail.

Advertising

We do not allow advertising on the Server, including invitations to other Servers, outside businesses and services, other games, and any venture that results in monetary profit.

Conspiracy Theories and Misinformation

We do not tolerate the deliberate and malicious spreading of false info or conspiracy theories about ZeniMax and its game studios, game(s), or employees.

We do not allow copyright-protected names on our Server. Copyright-protected names are typically from well-known original characters in books, games, and movies. We also do not permit discussion about the illegal distribution or use of copyrighted material, such as private game servers or pirated movies, music, and games.

Cursing and Profanity

Purposefully circumventing our profanity filter or otherwise cursing or using profanity is not permitted.

Demands and Threats

We encourage you to share feedback, suggestion, and requests with us, but we expect all of our community members to refrain from resorting to demands or threats. Threats of real-life violence, in particular, are something we take very seriously and do not tolerate.

Discussing Disciplinary Actions

We do not allow conversations on disciplinary actions in the Server, regardless of whether it relates to in-game violations or Server violations.

If you are reaching out about a disciplinary action from in-game, please contact help.bethesda.net. Note: We can not assist with in-game violations on the Server.

Hacking and Exploits

We do not tolerate the discussion of hacking, cracking, phishing, exploits or cheats and/or the buying and selling of counterfeit software and/or Virtual Currency or virtual items.

Illegal or Harmful Content

Posting or discussing illegal, inappropriate, or harmful content is not allowed.

Impersonation

Do not impersonate a Mod; Admin; Bethesda or Discord employee; any member of another group or company; or your fellow community members. This includes copying their profile picture to appear as them or posing as any official source or staff member.

Inappropriate Content and Language

Things that we consider inappropriate are usually illegal, extremely volatile or violent, obscene, vulgar, or simply inappropriate for our community.

Inappropriate content includes, but is not limited to the following:

Extreme violence
Illegal substances and activities
Pirated copyright-protected material
Pornography and other sexually explicit topics
Real-world religion and politics
Tasteless, vulgar, or obscene material

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) + Cryptocurrency

Discussion, promotion, or sharing of NFTs and/or cryptocurrency is prohibited.

Trading and Selling

We don't allow trading, selling, or gifting of in-game or real life items on our server.

NSFW Content

NSFW content such as media, text, inappropriate names, or discussion is not permitted. If you need to ask if something is NSFW, the answer is usually, “yes.”

Personal Information

For the sake of your own identity protection and personal privacy, we ask that you please do not share any personal information in the Server. This also goes for sharing another community member’s personal information — doing so is not only considered malicious behavior, but it is a violation of our Terms of Service and something we take very seriously.

Quitting/Quit Posts or Comments

We do not allow "quit" posts in the Server. This sort of conversation is not valuable.

Respect Server Moderators and Staff

Listen to server staff. Final verdict and rule interpretation is up to staff.

Rumors & Datamined Content

We do not allow the sharing of or discussion about rumors, datamined content, or any other unofficial information that has not been officially released or shared. This applies to ZeniMax, Bethesda, and any associated companies and games.

Spamming

Don’t spam. This includes excessive messages, emojis, mentions, etc.

Spoilers

Please keep any game spoilers marked with a Spoiler Tag and in their appropriate Channel. Failure to do so will result in your post being deleted.

Trolling & Baiting

We do not allow trolling, baiting, or any type of provocation on our Server. If you feel like you are being trolled or baited, please use @ModMail to get in contact with our Moderators.

ZMI Legal Matters

We do not allow discussion of any legal matters involving ZeniMax, Bethesda or any of their associated companies.

Most importantly, be nice and have fun!

Above all: be nice! Please be respectful and constructive towards everyone in the server and help maintain a friendly atmosphere.

Fan Content Channel Rules

These rules apply to all our Fan Art & Cosplay channels.

Crediting

All fan content, unless posted directly by the artist, must have a source linked either through username or direct link to page. (We all love fan artists, let's give them credit!)

Advertising

Similarly, please do not claim to have created art that is not your own.

Editing

No editing art without the artist's consent.

NSFW Content

No NSFW fan art permitted.

Memes

No photo-edited memes. Posting of drawn memes (such as comics) are okay as long as they do not break any other rules.

AI-Created Designs

While AI artwork is often very interesting, it is not original artwork or artwork created by a person. Please refrain from sharing this sort of content. Moderators will remove at their discretion.
