It says sign in method. When I first started sky, I clicked that and it reset me. I'm scared to click it again now that I've been playing a while but I'm scared that I could lose my account and I don't know what to do to save this current account
It doesn't reset you, it just logs to a new account if it's going wrong and you should be always able to log in to your actual account if everything goes right. If not, support can restore account with sky ID.
But if you don't have issues, don't click on sign in method, just press play!

I have a question-, about if it will ever hapend for Sky to come on Samsung Galaxy A13 (I was wait for a long time to hapend but never did🥹, and I started to annoy my own two by taking his phone to play sky on it-) dunno if this is a question for Android but xd
The A13 is manufactured with a 32-bit CPU which makes it incompatible for sky which requires 64-bit. You have to get a better phone.

I had one account on the phone, but now it seems like game started again .so i have that account or is lost? I was using local account option. But now it looks like it doesn't remeber my account
Local account option uses the app cache from phone but that's not recommended to rely on it because that means your account is not synced and when your phone frees up space or big update is coming or the phone resets, it can be erased. The account is not fully lost, contact support ingame. And if you get your account back, the first thing you can do is to sync your account in game settings (google recommended) and save your Sky ID. Here are some instructions by skybot below:

Many players experience this on alts (Sky is originally meant to play on one account per person). Contact support in-game

It's recommended to contact support because it can poof because that kind of seasonal candle is definitely a bug. It can stay or it can convert later or the bug can be resolved only by removing it we don't know.
Bugs are unpredictable, I frequently see many people asking about alts sc bug. Unfortunately no one can guarantee the outcome. 
I've seen IAPs transfer between alts and finally poof in the past years. I would contact support if I had this issue, but otherwise good luck with the bug lottery 🍀

you must unlock other players chat in friendship tree! with candles or sky code! if you are new i suppose this is the issue, I was confused at first too.
So I have been playing for 2 weeks (newbie) now. I used my Steam account to login. I have a question— why does it ask for login every time I open the game? I have to put my credentials and OTP every time.
It's a steam security cross platform thing, you can't disable it.
But you can sync your Sky account to another sync method (Google is recommended) login with it and then in Sky settings connect your steam account to the mobile method. This way you'll be synced on both devices but won't be asked for login on steam
That's just the way some acc links work, e.g. with nintendo and google you barely ever have to put the credentials and psn asks from time to time, and I guess steam wants that every time (I think I remember someone with the same problem but can't find it rn
)

IAP gifts have some restrictions:
- you can't gift something until 3 days have passed after you added that friend
- you can't gift something that someone already owns (it won't appear in the menu)
- If you want to gift an IAP sold by an spirit, you and your friend need to stand close to that spirit and it should appear in the IAP gift option

Oh well that looks like a layout problem, not a sky problem. Try adjusting the size of displayed text in your device settings to tiniest size, then try login again and see if all that text now fits on your screen without covering the buttons.
That's all I can come up with now

Hi! Sorry for late ping, try to delete Play store (not Sky) cache, sometimes it's just cache issue. 
Good morning sky kids. I have run into a recent issue on my android phone, specifically OPPO, with the new update coming my phone is refusing to update even if the download is on 100%. Is there anyway to fix this without deleting the game and redownloading it? It's been a while since I did a backup of the game so I don't know if all my files will be there if I delete it.
Make sure you have at least 6gb free space, it's Google Install policy

The events are on a schedule. When they are active the portals will open.

Hello Io! Sorry for late response (jwu). For the cinema, some livesteeamings have translation (there is a menu with a toggle to de activate if the player likes). But there was one I saw (i saw only a few, as it was very late) that didn't had translation even with the toggle on for that option.

It depends on the OOB and the area, most of them end up in clouds, water or invisible walls, some of them have funny colors or end up in a void

Devs mentioned that in-game streaming technology for Sky is available to players on iOS, most Android devices, PlayStation, PC, and Steam Deck. But, because they found “technical challenges” that engineering team could*** not solve in time ***for SkyFest, players on all Nintendo Switch devices, a “small percentage” of Android devices –that includes **all Huawei **devices-, will not be able to experience SkyFest Cinema tech. It is due to a “device limitation”.
Devs did not disclosure what other Androids are affected, but keep in mind this information:
Access to the special portals are only through Fest Mode Aviary Village, and the portals open only when the activity is going to start between July 11 th to July 14 th included. Please remember that this special Schedule responds to Real Life / In-person activities at Japan. I am **not sure yet how it will work from July 15 th 2024 **onwards until the Event ends, but is possible that they will be open more often as Devs mentioned a lot of videos and re-showings of many livestreams at the Cinema.
History of Sky Gallery (Isle of Dawn) -Art of Sky Gallery (Hidden Forest) Have some Guided Tours the first weekend of the event. SkyFest Cinema (Eye of Eden) has a special time schedule for this first weekend.

For those who have access to Cinema tech, and don’t speak English or speak very little, or prefer to have things in their own language, devs prepared an automatic translation feature. In my experience, it was already activated but if you would like to check it, you can access to it by a “film” shaped icon at the middle bottom of your screen. Tap the icon, to toggle in or off the translation. Translation works for some of the livestreams and videos for sure, but not necessarily for all of them; at least during this weekend (July 12 to 14 th). Can’t say in advance if everything will be translated afterwards.

The game automatically turns up the resolution when taking screenshots in-game (with the camera icon or the camera prop) regardless of your device settings, you can change the gameplay resolution in ⚙️ > Graphics > battery icon, the maximum graphics allowed depend on your device

Good afternoon, a while ago I installed this game and had the problem that the loading screen did not start and stayed on the company logo. I hope that with time and updates there will be some answer to this problem since I was not The only one, yesterday reinstalling it presented the same problem, I decided to get in touch.

It's a Play Store bug. Emptying Google Play store cache and restarting device should resolve the issue but often it resolves itself.

I also recommend just opening the game as there is a "ingame download installation" on the loading screen, unless it specifically says to go update it via appstore, you should be good
The only installation option it gives is "tap anywhere to update" unless i can get past that screen?
And theres still an error message after clearing the play store cache

I see...is pretty new. I suggest you verify if your OS, and Google play and Gaming Hub are update (sometimes that can cause trouble).

Hello, I have a question about my Sky accounts. It freezes when I want to link my Google account and nothing comes up and when I enter the Steam account, when I confirm, it prompts me to delete it. I can't put any apart from Facebook I need help!
Oh no, I keep having this issue after the update. Each time I do a candle run in the vault, when I reach the final area it refuses to move the screen up. I've tried to wait it out but only leaving the game just to return fixed it for a bit.
Facebook is quire buggy, so there may be issues with that, while trying to link google accounts. You can make a bug report to let Devs know, but is most likely on Facebook's side, than TGC.

if your log in method is with a Facebook account that is giving frequent issues. All you may do is keep trying at a later time.
I keep trying to do it at different times and I'm still having difficult issues with it 😞😞

I used to have a Google account, it froze and wouldn't let me link anymore! I lost it. And that's when I made the one from Facebook 😦 and the same problem continues, and I wanted to put one from Steam in case Facebook didn't give me problems but it didn't either
I don't think the problem is Facebook because I started with Google without linking anything else
Other players have repported issues while trying to link their accounts to another log in method. But feel free to report the issue to the Devs.

The gift pass node is at the bottom of the friendship tree, beside hi-5. You have to be friends for 3 days before the node can be used.

Depends on the specific device. But many Motorola, unfortunately, who missed fundamental basic drivers which affect not only Sky but some other games too.

Then I link it with a steam or facebook account with Email B
Then If I do not have Email A I can still log in with steam account of email B
Can I even link two accounts with different emails?
Yes you can, if the emails are used for different sign in methods.

I suggest you verify your internet connection, as well as if your OS, and Google play and Gaming Hub are update (sometimes that can cause trouble).
Also, sometimes if the update has download, you may need to click again a couple of times for the game to complete the instalation process (looks like some devices have been experiencing this issue)
It should be compatible and players express how smooth gameplay is on your s23 device 
Google play store can have bug though with any games - in this case, empty Play Store cache in settings and restart the device. This should resolve the Play store issue you're experiencing.

Doesn't download at all

I have seen a few players with similar models and the issue was that they needed an update of the OS, or Google Play itself (check also Gaming Hub if it is not the rest) and the problem solved itself.

Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
At the top right, tap the profile icon.
Tap Settings and then About and then Play Store version.

If your Sky account is linked to a gmail or other safe log in method you should not loose anything but I suggest always to keep at hand a copy of your Sky ID.

You can try rolling back to an old version (you can't unninstall it as it's a system app) you can do so by following these steps:
Navigate to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, then tap Google Play Store. Tap the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner on the app details screen, and tap Uninstall updates

Adding to it, you can also try this on the following apps:
Google Play Services, Download Manager (you need to enable "See system apps" to see this one)
If it's linked to your Google account then it is not an local account and it's saved in the cloud

Try to remove all notifications from phone notifications tray and restart device. Remove all third party apps which were recently installed, disable apps over apps feature like messenger bubbles and discord over Sky.

IT WORK
It means your internet is not the strongest. It can be ok for buffered streaming services and messaging where connection imbalances don't matter but Sky is a live game and it needs better. Restart router, try on a different connection, nag your internet service provider
Try switching between airplane mode and normal mode. Or try restarting the device.

It's way less in size but Google Play has this big update policy. If you reinstall the game you need less space but make sure your account is synced

Not being able to purchase it is not a bug. The cosmetics on display in the Aurora stadium were only available mid-season and are no longer open to purchase. Probably it's your connection. It works for messages and buffered services but Sky is sensitive. If servers would be down the whole discord server would burn. Check on a different connection, restart router or call your ISP

Have you tried clearing cache (not data, only cache) from your device? Restarting your router?
Given the pic you provided, it looks the game just does not finish downloading. And that may be due to unstable connection.
Sky is pretty demanding in terms of internet connection. There are a few methods how to measure your connection for ping speed and package dropouts: Ping reaction time below 30ms AND download speed above 30 are recommended for a live game like Sky. You can measure them for example using: https://speedtest.net/ If ping and download are fine, do can do then a package dropout test - recommendations by Uzephi for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ua.com.streamsoft.pingtools
Packet loss below 6% is necessary, 0% recommended in connection test (do 100 ping packet tests)

I've found some other messages too with similar experiences: it can run Sky for now (or it could around that time), but with lags and pretty low fps so it won't be able to run the game for long (or it already doesn't support Sky)

It's a bug with google play store. Try emptying play store's cache in settings and restart the phone before trying again.

Good timezone, I was hesitant to ask because maybe someone had already done so but alas,,,,
I changed my phone to a newer model back in April, and my 5 year old one could run sky, if very slowly, but now when I try to open it on my new one (Motorola G73 5G) it starts loading the tgc hands logo, and the opening jingle, but then it gets stuck on that screen and I'm left just hearing the birds and wind
I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and it's up to the last update - I only have my Nintendo switch account but I would like to link more/find a way to play it on PC as well but 😭🫠
@summer minnow Moto G series is unfortunately no longer compatible to run sky due to improper hardware support. You would need another device.

Idk if I'm interpreting this correctly, but on PC the only account you can access is the one connected to Steam. You should probably be able to link one account to multiple places, but I haven't personally tried it (just cause if the devices I have)

We haven't been able to buy anything since the encore concerts ended September 3rd last year. And the aurora concerts have always been here, it's just that for sky's birthday we have a free spell to get there instead of needing someone who owns a cape.

If you use Steam to log in, it's normal. You can workaround this by linking another account service and logging in trough that instead of using Steam

Make sure you're using the Google account to log-in instead of Steam (in the screen with the "Play" button make sure that Google is selected in the "Log-in method" option)

Cause as I said before... I can still install the game despite the fact that it is no longer compatible
The manufacturer did implement some Vulkan drivers and they claim it supports Vulkan, but they didn't implement it fully, it's not up to date, and it has issues. (even benchmark apps didn't run flawlessly on them)
Therefore they forward some not fully true specifications to Google and therefore play store lets them download Sky. Your issue might be the same

this is a separate app from Google Playstore; you'll need to download the app "Google Play Games"

Hello, I have a question regarding login in on an old account
Because of changing the phone, I had to stop playing sky 3 years ago and only got a fitting model now. The problem is, to log in on my old account I need my original device, which is far too busted to be recovered. Is there a way to recover my old account or do I have to start from scratch?
You don't need your old device just sign in with the same sync method (Google or Facebook, etc) in your old device as the old one. If you don't remember it, contact support in-game for account recovery from any new account 
This means it's not the same sync method you used in the past. Choose the correct login method or if you don't remember, contact support in-game

That may be to different reasons: some of the most usual: your friend is in a full server; your friend is somewhere you can not TP to (such as Eden, Isle's Trials, or -sometimes- some Fest mode zones); either of you is having some internet instability or not very strong wi fi.

The higher or lower pitch for an instrument may change a bit by you changing to certain locations to play. Many Sky's areas have C major, but others have a different Key, like Temple Garden -Forest- (Bb Major). But this is not an Android thing but smth related to all platforms.
Other things may be a temporary bug, I can't discard completely that option.

The Key of instruments changes depending on the area and its background music! You can keep a specific key you like by turning off your background music to prevent it from changing.

I believe it asks at least 8 GB of free space. Google Play or another official source will let you know that information precisely. It asks the double of space the game truly occupies because of how Delta Update works.

I purchased the 5th anniversary cape for my main on the switch from my alt on my android. The alt kneels to give the candle, the main accepts, but then the alt just stands up. No exchange of the gift happens. The reason I was purchasing it on my android is it's a one click purchase instead of having to put in my pw twice for the switch.
What worries me is if the offer goes away.. will I still be able to redeem my cape?

Yes but referring to the link, you need to make sure your Google Play and Google Games (two separate apps) are signed in with that Gmail. Google Games is where your login method/ game progress is saved
Once doing that, simply sign in and hit the big play button

What seems to pop up once you click the play button?
When I choose sign in method I get this pop up then when I tap confirm it goes and shows up again
I can only suggest clearing sky's cache and seeing if that'll fix it, check if any updates are needed, if not then maybe try reinstalling and restarting your phone

That phone has a Mali GPU, afaik Sky works better with Adreno GPUs
Please keep in mind that some models have variations according to region. Not everyone have chances to buy the best performance devices. Even so, not all Mali GPUs are "bad", just may not have the best performance if you compare it with Adreno GPU's. But you can play Sky with some of them.

I images it's something to do with the delta updates, the tldr is essentially the game is duplicated during the update process, because that's how it handles checking packs of data is there and not altered with, that's why it requires a lot of storage each update despite the actual new content being a small amount, essentially you'll want more than 8gb of storage always free. Best thing you can do is have a device with a larger storage or if your device accepts a external storage like a sd card then to use that to store photos, videos, ect

There are some good websites that can make comparisons between devices, GPU's, etc. such as GSM Arena, that will give you a better idea to compare more recent devices. And you can compare their performances to the requirements stated by TGC here and at their own website.

what phone gallery do you have ? I know mine saves things to different folders in the gallery, but opening gallery only shows me camera photos until I go to the folders tab. sky has its own folder on mine

Samsung is definitely out for this budget
I definitely recommend to look around for slightly used or refurbished phones. Since it's a very budget category and for that money android devices quite likely will have even game breaking bugs I recommend getting a used iphone 11 (which are plenty available on eBay, (avoid iphone X, though)) or a Google Pixel 5 (maybe a Pixel 4) which have bare android without too much tweaks by manufacturer. They are both reliable great phones in other areas as well (iOS is the most stable platform for Sky). For that money the rest could be honestly risky. Refurbished Samsung Galaxy S21 also fit in the budget but that can be buggy with Sky.

Link your mobile account first on your phone to something (Google is more reliable). Then you can link this account to steam afterwards on your phone.

Log in with Google on your phone, Facebook is less reliable and can result in glitches and login issues. In game settings (by clicking the cog icon on top right) you should be able to link steam.

You've made a Google games account, now you'll want to open sky, go to settings>account and link it to your gmail (aka the Gmail that's connected to your Google games)

is it possible to listen to spotify while playing sky on android ? each time I open sky when I'm listening to something the music cut and disappear even tho I removed music from the game 
You should be able to go your phone settings and go to Spotify (I'm using sky as a example) and make sure the battery option is set to unrestricted

I was planning to delete the old email that my account is linked to, so I tried to unlink it in the game's menu, however it just says that "Error: can't unlink this sign-up method" and nothing else.

You're on sky with a local account I assume? You need to open the game then go to settings (cog icon) > account and link a preferred sign in method (Gmail, steam, Nintendo, etc).
Facebook is extremely buggy and typically doesn't work.
If it's not detecting a Gmail, make sure you update your Google Playstore and Google Games (two seperate apps), ensure your Google games account is connected to your Main chosen Gmail then go into game again and try to link

Does your phone use HyperOS by any chance? Have you tried changing your internet source? (wifi to data, or another wifi)

I have an inbuilt one in a realme phone and its gamebooster changed the game resolution, this causes buttons to go offscreen.

I have seen some issues from lack of update of OS, Game Center, etc. or a defective version of Google Play, to name a few.
Thank I tried following that reddit but nothing changed. I tried submitting a bug report yesterday.

Neither, you won't be able to link steam if it's already linked to an account

You can either delete your steam account and then wait 30 days until the acc is deleted, then you're able to link it

They are not in the forgotten ark, they are 1 minute into the game, I don't think this is the same problem. They are at the aviary where the guide pulls you towards the center from the path outside the aviary
It is a simmilar bug... a conflict between cutscenes. We are working on helping them if we can with other helpers at QnH
Besides, even tho it is not "In Ark" what was being said there is that a Spirit in Aviary is one that appears on Ark.

Staff can't unlink accounts as far as I know but contact them with your Sky ID or in-game from your compromised Sky account. You should contact Google and Facebook for account recovery if they took those accounts as well. After done, it's recommended to enable 2 factor authentication for Facebook and Google.

It does, some issues are simply resolved by updating. Other times, if Google Play is bringing the issue, has been resolved by rolling back to a previous update.

Also verify the google account linked to your new phone (not sure which one is linked to your Sky account)
Sometimes restarting the device helps with google Play, as Tib mentioned earlier.
I have the same problem. It seems like there is an error when logging in with google play and it makes my play button bugged.
How do I do that?
Mine is like this: I tap on sign in with Google, then after that the window of sign in options closes out and nothing happens, I'm at the launch point still

facebook has been known to cause issues signing in. i wouldn't personally recommend having it as your only sign in method
My UI is in the middle of my screen and i tried literally everything i even reported it however I don't see it in the known issues...
i'm afraid my game is going to be like this forever which is simply almost unplayable as every task is very annoying, and i cannot access the candle shop menu anymore when i active daily quests from the statue
not to mention it's also covering the spirit progress meter, it's covering daily quests and it's really hard to access the chat
i don't know what to do anymore and Im afraid the devs won't fix it if the bug doesn't reach a certain number of players experiencing it

Hello. Sorry for the late response @wild jewel I was sleeping. Sorry for the ping if you are busy or sleeping, but I am still trying to find a way to help a fellow Android player and don't want to leave your question completely unanswered.
Like Skye mentioned, Facebook has a lot of signing in issues, so even if it is a temporary workaround, is not the ideal solution. But glad at least that worked for the time being.
I think this looks like an issue with Google Play games or Google play services and may respond to a broken update (I have seen several players having issues to download an update for Sky because of this). If both apps are update, as well as Game Launcher (you already mentioned other apps and OS being update, and it shouldn't be a cache issue right away since the device is new -tho you can try to delete app cache-), you could try rolling back to an old version of Google Play.

Both are very common issues! The first usually resolves itself by leaving to another area. The second is currently a #known-issues so devs are working on it! I’d suggest changing your fade settings to black though, that’ll make it easier on the eyes

Hi, Is there any other way to get spirits for my cape? I already collected all the yellow spirits of the map and I already bought all the items from the npcs but my cape is not full yet?
By yellow spirits you mean wing lights? And all the items you mean every wing buffs?
At the moment the max you can collect is 235 wing lights, so you'll never be able to reach 250 before they add some more
And with every traveling spirit you haven't encountered yet you will be able to buy 1 more wing buff too

This looks like you are in the beta for android but you’re currently in a iOS device. Both betas are obtainable in different ways and the android beta is not installable in iOS devices. You’ll have to wait for an new invite wave if you want to play it on iOS, read trough #beta-faq
Seems like the top line Motorola models are exceptions and do have the Vulkan drivers the other G series models are sadly missing. Sky runs very smoothly with 60fps on Edge 50 Ultra 
Not sure about the Edge 50 Pro, which has a different, still decent chipset. The rest of the G line definitely don't support the game.

Question, my game crashed mid crab race an I tried getting into sky again. However I'm stuck in the loading at the home space.
It seems you already had connection glitch during the race and it worsened upon game restart. You can #report-a-live-bug about the crash and for the loading screen you need to wait, or try on a different connection, restart router
I'm looking to get a new phone, which one would run Sky better? Samsung Galaxy S20Fe or a Samsung A54
S20fe has a more realiable chipset and GPU for sky. I have been using S20fe to play for 2 years and haven't encounter problems.
