The team has identified the issue causing Ascended Candles to not be awarded for clearing the Shard Eruptions Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 (PDT, UTC-7). Due to the error, we are working to identify players impacted by this issue and plan to add Ascended Candles to those accounts.

In this patch, the color of the Ultimate Gift outfit in the Season Guide’s tree is seafoam green, but the correct color should be darker teal. The Ultimate Gift outfit’s color will be corrected to a darker teal blue in the 0.19.5 update to better resemble the outfit in the music video that it’s based on.
**[Switch] **Sky kids may do a funny dance when trying to hold hands while jumping on Jellyfish and Light Mushrooms.
When wearing a chibi mask, giving someone a piggyback ride in the water will cause the person being carried to lose oxygen if the person carrying them remains stationary.
When wearing a chibi mask or while using a spell that makes the player small, part of the wings from the Season of Aurora’s Mindful Miner and Seed of Hope Spirits’ capes will be under the cape.

A bug in the Wind Paths area can potentially cause account issues such as losing Season progress. This happens in some situations of entering Wind Paths through Hidden Forest, then teleporting Home. To be safe, we advise players to avoid the Wind Paths area until a fix is implemented.

In 0.19.5 a bug appeared allowing deep call to be spammed without cooldown.

We are aware of the following bugs that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.20.0:
🔷 The Ultimate Gift memory lantern will not have the ability to recharge in 0.20.0. However, the memory lantern will have the ability to recharge in the 0.20.5 update.
🔷 Your Sky children’s inner light shines so brightly, the color of some cosmetics may be affected.
🔷 [PlayStation] Wing Master and Skykid Sundae trophies do not unlock properly.
🔷 When players hide message candles or message boats, all candles or notes will refresh and new candles/notes will appear.
🔷 Shared Spaces:
When in Edit Mode of Shared Spaces, the wing energy meter will not appear in the UI.
While in Shared Spaces with friends, if the owner of the space makes and then saves changes, they will not be able to see their friends as they will still be viewing a different version of that Space.
Friends will need to exit the Shared Space and either enter again through the shrine, or leave the level and return.

To be extra safe, we encourage players to refrain from using the map shrine in the Wind Paths, and to refrain from teleporting from the Wind Paths to Home.

🔷 Players start at the top of the Repository of Refuge after viewing the Remembrance spirits quest cinematics.
🔷 After the Season begins, when sitting at the Season of Passage Dawn meditation circle with friends, players may be separated into different sessions
🔷 Some amounts are not displayed when players view their spell inventory
🔷 When the Do Not Disturb spell is activated, the icon does not appear above players heads to let others know they would like alone time. However, the icon will appear if another player opens their friendship menu.

We are aware of the following bugs that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.21.5:
🎮 [Console] Players may notice that when placing the footbag, the model will not be visible. This will not hinder functionality and players will still be able to play the footbag game.
When new players attempt to start the Season of Dreams quests, progression is stalled after tapping on the teleport node in the Season Guide menu.
Crashing may occur when players use the carry expression in certain cases.
🎮 [Switch] Shard eruptions may appear out of sync with other players.
🎶 Players may experience crashing when interacting with the Jam Station.
Masks from constellation Ancestors may not glow while charged and players eyes may not remain glowing once the mask is broken.
🎻 When selecting the violin in Harmony Hall, players will be informed that more progress is needed. The violin will become available on July 7 and will not require additional progress. (Please note that our recent development server accident may cause a delay in the violin’s release).
Players are able to see detailed cape silhouettes of unlit strangers.
While reliving the Tearful Light Miner spirit memory, players may find that progression is blocked as a section of the memory is out of reach.
The 4th Season of Passage quest may not work properly and a fix is delayed due to the off-site incident shared in recent communications.

Known Issue 
🎶 We are aware of a bug with the music sheets such as, notes continuing after the sheet has ended and some instruments not matching harmony or key. Until the fix can be implemented in a future update, to end the ongoing music, please change your location to a different level/map.
✉️ For some, the inbox message at the start of the Days of Music event was not in their device's set language. This has been fixed, and restarting Sky should show the message in the correct language.

We are aware of the following bugs that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.22.0:
🔷After sharing light with a shadow kid, your Sky kids stance will appear to change from your selected stance to the default stance for the new acquaintance. However, your stance selection will remain the same on your screen.
🔷If players have any menu open while holding hands with or being carried by another player who views a note, a shared memory, or a shared space, the menus will automatically close.
🔷When liking a friend's shared memories, notes, and spaces a notification will be sent to them that incorrectly shows the name you have given your friend instead of the name they have given you.
🔷When placing boat/crane/lantern notes, players may notice their message shows incorrect characters or may require players to relog into the map to see their note.
🔷[Switch/Controller] Shared Spaces cannot be named or shared if players tap/select outside of the keyboard to close it. Tapping out to close will lock the keyboard away; however, leaving the area and returning will allow players to use the keyboard again. Closing the keyboard by pressing X or deleting text will not activate the bug.
🔷[PlayStation/Switch] While in chibi height or shorter height, if being led by a taller player, the chibi will appear to be levitating.
🔷[PlayStation] Opening the chat keyboard may slow the frame rate.
🔷Placing and interacting with boat notes, shared spaces, or shared memories may cause a server error. If a server error occurs, please contact Player Support and share details about what you were placing to receive the error. Players may need to restart the app if the error is received.

🔷 When equipped by players, the Nightbird Whisperer call cannot be heard by others. The call will also not stay selected when players change levels.
🔷 [PlayStation Japan] Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Oreo plushie is not showing as available for purchase in the game store.

We are aware of the following bugs that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.22.5:
🎮 [Switch] Our team has identified a bug that may warp players from place to place during some concert songs. The fix to smooth out the experience will be implemented with a future update.
Some friends added through invite codes may not appear in the constellation.
When players discard and re-record a Shared Memory in maps that have had, or will have, Days of Style content, they may find they are warped to a different location in the map, and will hear the Days of Style event music.
When players hold and drop dark crabs, it will look correct on their own screen, but to other players, you will still appear to be holding the dark crab.

Last week we discovered a miscalculation that caused the in-game currency (IGC) price of the three Days of Sunlight Beach Towel capes to be higher than we had intended them to be. This was after the event started, so on Sept. 15th PDT (UTC -7) we did two things:
1. Lowered the IGC prices of the Sunlight Beach Towel Capes, and
2. Updated the Sleepy Traveling Merchant’s Boat in Home to offer 25 event currency to all players for free, to offset what folks may have overspent based on the incorrect prices.
We also recognize that in between the start of the event and when the IGC prices for the new capes were updated, some players may have spent Ascended Candles to get event currency through the bonus spells that were available.
In some cases, those players ended up converting more Ascended Candles than they needed to in order to unlock all the event currency items at their correct IGC prices, so we’re temporarily adding an option to the Sleepy Traveling Merchant's Boat that will allow players to exchange up to 21 event currency for up to 42 Ascended Candles. This number represents the difference between the intended IGC price and incorrectly higher prices at the start of Days of Sunlight.** The option to exchange event currency for Ascended Candles will be available until the end of Days of Sunlight (23:59 on September 24th).** (Local Time Stamp <t:1695625140:F>)
We apologize for the confusion this caused, and appreciate your patience while we worked on both parts of addressing this issue. While the spells for extra event currency are meant to help out any Sky kids who miss many days of an event, our intent is still to make it simple for players to collect all the event currency they need for new IGC items just by playing the majority of the event.

Due to a delay, the Moth and Sparrow items were previously unavailable on iOS. However, this has been resolved and the items are now available for iOS purchase.

🔹We have found a bug that giving a Heart through a Player Creation (Message Boat, Shared Spaces and Shared Memories) as announced will temporarily cause server errors. Regular Heart "likes" will still be functional until we're able to to ensure a smooth experience when sending Hearts through a Player Creation. We're working on a fix and aim to have this feature up and running as soon as possible.

The team has already identified fixes for several of these issues and is working to include them in an upcoming hotfix.
🔹After completing the final Seasonal Quest, when returning from Home or Aviary Village to Moominvalley through the Return Shrine, Moominvalley may revert to black and white and the side Stories may be missing.
🔹On some devices, during the final Storybook Quest, players may notice an FPS drop occurs causing a cutscene to play automatically that blocks progression.

🔷 [Steam Deck] When viewing the Galleries and Cinema screen, the pictures or videos may not show due to Proton compatibility. Players can change the Proton version to view the in-game content by:

- Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
- In the dropdown select Proton 9.0-4

- To avoid the looped animation, if you are caught by a guard, try not to run in the direction of a second guard as this may increase your chances of experiencing the softlock.
- If you do experience the animation loop, you will need to return home and restart the quest.

🔹 When increasing a players’ friendship with the Jellyfish Whisperer, some players may notice erratic behavior from the surrounding jellyfish.
Days of Mischief
🔹 Edit and Copy buttons may overlap in the event Shared Spaces when a controller is connected.
🔹 In the event Shared Spaces, translation of the Puzzle Message placeable may be inconsistent.
🔹 When using the exit portal from the Mischief map, players will return to the original Home regardless of where they have set their home preference.
🔹 When editing an already saved Shared Space in the Mischief puzzle cave, older Puzzle Messages may disappear after adding a new message.
General
🔹 [Facebook] The Serendipity and Friend Finder features have been disabled as we are looking into some issues.
🔹 When viewing the Friendship Constellations, some friend stars may be overlapped by the portals button.
🔹 When entering the Golden Wasteland level, players may notice a longer than normal loading time and some players on Android may freeze when entering the level.

We will flag if the issues specifically pertain to Live, Beta, iOS, or Android. Please continue submitting bug reports as you have been.
Hidden Forest temple and Valley of Triumph gate bugs are proving more difficult to fix than anticipated.Here is a workaround until we can provide a permanent fix: Using the Sit emote in the spots pictured below will activate the cutscene granting you passage into the next area.
[LIVE] We're currently investigating the Valley spirit not appearing for the daily quest, but do not have an ETA on a fix at this time.
There are some workarounds posted by community members in #seasons-events-chat but the success rates are inconsistent or require multiple attempts.

Thanks to your reports, we discovered that we made a mistake and incorrect values were applied to this fix bringing many small heights up to the default range. This was not our intent and we sincerely apologize for the harm this has caused many players. We are actively working on reverting all size changes and compensating impacted players. The fix we applied were the first steps to address cases where players have tampered with game files to change their height outside of size ranges that are generated through normal means—upon creation of a new account or through the use of Resize Potions. This fix was also applied to certain players who were impacted by the Chibi Mask bug that occurred in Patch 0.6.0 (Season of Lightseekers) but were not included in the original bug fix, as their heights also fell outside of the intended achievable range.

+equipping a phantom lithophone/xylophone on top of any other equipped prop.
+accessory is unequipped when headphones appear on iOS.

+When equipped with certain hair and hats, the poppy is hidden or appears detached from the head completely.
-Texture of the ice at the Valley of Triumph ice rink appearing sandy or ashy.
-A blessing on the Sneak stance Spirit's friendship tree incorrectly requiring the Adventure Pass to unlock.
-Saved screenshots have a pixellated line across the image.
-Performance optimizations causing overheating on some devices.
-Players being sent out of bounds when trying to play through the Hidden Forest temple cutscene.
-Some confirmation text popups are missing the confirmation checkmark in some languages and are only displaying the cancel icon.

Normally this is only available if you have 100% completion for seasonal content (requiring the Adventure Pass) but due to the non-seasonal nature of the colored light quests, this cinematic will be viewable by all players who fully restore the Forgotten Ark.

There is a known issue with Google Play sometimes showing a "Device is not Compatible" error on devices that are compatible, especially after a game updates. Please give the following steps a try:
-Force close all applications.
-Pull down the notification bar on your Android device and hit the gear-shaped settings icon, or find “Settings” in the application tray.
-Navigate to Apps, or App Manager.
-Scroll down and find Google Play Store.
-Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.
-Repeat the above steps for Google Play Games and Google Play Services.
-Completely power down your device (do not hit the Restart button).
-Launch Google Play Store and try reinstalling/updating Sky.
-If it still shows up incompatible, close the App Store again and wait a little while before checking back.

- When the device has powered back on, navigate to the Settings app and scroll down to the Game Center menu option.

To switch between the two buttons, players must move their Skykid closer or further away from the Quest Giver. This change was made to fix and issue encountered by players who use a controller to move in Sky.
🔸 Some expressions have been moved lower in the Friendship Tree between fellow players, causing some unlocked friendship expressions, such as carry/piggyback, to be available while their prerequisite expressions, such as hair tousle, remain locked.

We have received numerous reports from the community that the ability to use Gift Passes when a Season is not active is not working correctly and wanted to provide some clarification on this feature and what restrictions are in place for Gift Passes.
It is intentional behavior that you need to own the Adventure Pass in order to use Gift Passes on your friends. This criteria has always been in place, but due to the recent change to allow Pass gifting when a Season is not active, significantly more players are entering a scenario where they have not yet purchased the Adventure Pass for themselves, but have leftover Gift Passes to use.
Thanks to your feedback, we will review the current functionality to determine how we can make this process less confusing in the future.
To summarize, in order to give a Gift Pass to a friend, the following criteria must be met:
🔹 Own the current Season’s Adventure Pass, or Pre-order for the upcoming Season
🔹 Be friends with the recipient for 3 days
🔹 Be in-person with the recipient to access their friendship tree in-game
We will be updating the Gift Pass FAQ in the near future to reflect this information more clearly.

We are aware of the following bugs that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.14.5:
🔹 Some players may experience crashes near the geyser in Sanctuary.
🔹 Meditation shrines and other objects may not render appropriate textures.
🔹 Player names may be stuck on screen after closing out friendship constellations.
🔹 PS4 controllers currently do not work with Android 11 devices. We do not recommend using this configuration until they learn to get along again.
🔹 The Summer Lantern button can overlap with friendship menu confirmation boxes when trying to use the lantern and make friends at the same time.
🔹 Certain sources of Light that have a limit to how much Light that can be collected from them, such as the geyser in Sanctuary, may show particles that a player appears unable to pick up. This happens after a player has collected the amount available for the day, and players who are affected by this bug do receive the full amount of Light possible from these sources.
🔹 Android devices using certain Mali and Adreno GPUs may load a black screen when trying to start the game.
🔹 **Certain Android architectures experience crashes when loading the game. This affects primarily Xiaomi devices, and to a lesser extent Redmi, Huawei, and Samsung devices with Mali GPUs as well. **
🔹 Players are pushed into the air when using friendship emotes while on the gondola in the Dreams Village.
🔹 Pendants from pre-orders for the next season will initially appear with the symbol from the
Season of the Little Prince. However, these will automatically change to the symbol for the upcoming season once it begins.
🔹 For devices that use Japanese as the primary language, the confirmation menu for gifting a heart to a friend "in-person" displays a developer note (in English) about changing the English text to more closely match the existing Japanese text.

🔸 If a group leader shouts at crabs and flips them over for a quest, the other players holding hands in the group do not automatically receive quest credit without also shouting and flipping crabs over. This is currently working as intended.

-The spooky, swirling vortex that is the portal from Vault’s secret area to the Days of Mischief location appears to have found a way to remain on this plane of existence even after the event ends. However, once Days of Mischief concludes, the portal will be closed to us mere mortals, and the vortex will only be able to loom ominously and harmlessly until a future update sends it back to the dimension from whence it came.

0.16.0 Known Issues
We are aware of the following issues that are ongoing or were introduced with the arrival of Patch 0.16.0:
During Days of Fortune, the fireworks show visible from the pier will appear to emit Light for players to collect, but this Light will not add to a player’s Candle meter. To offset this bug and ensure the full amount of Light intended for the event will be available to players, the felicitous figure that will appear periodically in Home will provide an amount of Light equivalent to the combined total of Light originally planned from both sources.
An update for the in-game lighting has inadvertently resulted in the sky of an out of bounds area at the end of Valley of Triumph turning dark blue, instead of its typical orange and pink colors. We realize this is a well-loved spot for many people and are looking further into the issue.
The creatures of shadow in the Trial of Fire passed a resolution that, as the true superstars of the Trial, the area should be expanded and named after them to truly reflect their shadowy glory. When we refused these demands, the shadow creatures retaliated by unleashing further darkness in the Trial so that players cannot see the next candle location along their path. While we understand their frustration, it is not right that they should take it out on Sky children. We apologize for this inconvenience as we work to restore the proper lighting in a future update and help these creatures better manage their feelings to prevent this from happening again.
We anticipate the following issues will be resolved in the 0.16.5 update:
While underwater, players are currently not able to offer any relationship abilities; please note that this includes hand holding.
On the 4th Seasonal Quest, collecting the seasonal shard pieces will break hand holding with other players.
There is an outdated artwork in the game that shows the Seasonal Spirits holding incorrect items that are not in the game.
Not a Bug
Diving is possible in any level with deep water, not just the new area for Season of Abyss. However, no additional features or visual effects have been added to these other underwater spaces at this time.
The Prophet of Earth Traveling Spirit initially offered a placeable item that was not intended to be included in its tree. For players who unlocked this item during its previous visit, the 0.16.0 update will automatically correct it to the Earth Element mural icon from the Season of Prophecy.

In a section of Eye of Eden, some Nintendo Switch players may be unable to see the hug emote. While we work on tracking down the cleverly hidden emote, we recommend the following workarounds:
