if it’s a red shard, then u can meditate and complete/relive the quest and it’s memory, and u also get ac from clearing the shard

if it’s a black shard, it only gives wax when u clear it and u cant complete the quest there

the location of the shard doesn’t matter for the quests, u can complete a red shard from any area in sky and it’ll count

good luck. i like to dodge out of the way and go to another bit of darkness, activate a candle or use someone as crab bait, just constantly dodging. like krill!!

running the quest realm, candle cake realm, music shop challenge, and going to both geyser and gramma twice usually can get u to around 15, then i usually cr vault if it’s not the quest or candle cake realm bc it’s quick and has a ton of wax, and then if i’m still not to a grey candle i’ll cr a realm with a high wax count like valley, or collect all the easily accessible candle cakes throughout the realms using the wind paths

maxing out both gramma and geyser help a lot too, plus going to the shard event if it’s black on the given day and doing the sunset event as well

it is, but you rlly only have to run about 3 or 4 realms which is definitely easier than having to cr all 6

the granny wax pool is connected to the campfire outside the entrance to sunny clearing, the floating wax in vault, prairie caves campfire, crab roast in GW and valley temple maze fire
so if you sit at any of those you are drawing from the same wax pool
doing gramma twice however, will max it out

i believe it’s also connected to the idle wax u can get from flying in the wind paths current and the single pieces of wax that trail behind the turtle during the sunset event ! so basically every idle wax area except the hot springs in dreams village

A thought just crossed my mind: most of you must've played at least one open-world game before Sky. Club Penguin, Pixie Hollow, etc. Despite these being the most loved games that existed in our lives, they all share one thing in common: they all closed down. And while Sky is in its prime as we speak, the thought that this beautiful world would, one day, disappear too, is making me fear the future. I would cry til I have no tears left.

For me it's sanctuary islands or anywhere near a body of water.
I like walking slowly with my sky kid's feet submerged in water, reminds me so much of walking in the beach while watching tiny crabs scuttle away.

...Sadly crabs in Sky tend to do the opposite.

I switched to crab call for a bit when they released base level calls for all seasonal spirits in realms, but I’ve been stuck with bird call since forever
It just has a nice neutral tone to me that’s not too high or too low, it’s just right

I like laidback stance - it feels the most me, considering I tend to stand like that a lot myself. My one complaint is the laying down stance, but even that’s kind of funny.

I like Earth Trial. It reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine for whatever reason, which hits me right in the nostalgia. Probably the floating platforms in a dark void like its secret levels.

My order from favourite to least is: Earth, Fire, Air, Water.

Fire trial once you learn how to parkour the shortcuts, it’s my favourite to do
And always fun when I take in friends who haven’t gone through the shortcut before and they are like SO FAST

I think I love earth trial the most bc it's big and cool maze and I love mazes on the opposite though the water trial is great it's too easy while the air is too hard(I'm horrible at keeping balance) I also like fire trial bc it's hard enough and has maze and those cute worms but it's just too easy to die there and hard to memorize all the ways so the earth one is still the best
