I'm only ever seeing two to three moderators at a time being active. And it's the same ones every time.
The rest of the moderators I barely ever see.
Even when the moderators are pinged and I see green bubbles, they're completely inactive.
The server needs to have more than just 3 active moderators at a time.
(And cover the gaps when the moderators are sleeping.)
It'll be 5am EST, for example. And people can just honestly spam all they want, post phishing links and all that.
It'll be an hour or so before moderators respond.

I have no idea how much work it'd be, but the ability to link our WB account with our Discord account would be sweet, for things like displaying our rank on Discord automatically.
It'd need to be opt-in I think, because not everyone's into competitive play, but having the ability to know how good someone is to add context to an opinion they have about a matchup or a character, would be super helpful imo. Not even to disregard opinions from low ranked players, but more to understand where everyone's coming from.

Discord suggestion: Add active lobbies where people can group through LFG-casual and LFG-competitive. There are modifications to discord that can allow players to create active voice channels and those channels are removed if empty after 5 minutes.

Example - Hunt: Showdown Discord currently has these features implemented and working to full effect to allow users to setup lobbies.

What these changes Bring: This will increase the overall activity in the discord by (my guess) at least 200% having people actively playing MvS within the discord and will then in turn cause the text channel interaction to increase as well.

That's because mods do not work on the game nor they can fix game problems, that's the devs' work, so we are normally more active in channels that require more intensive moderation unless someone pings us.
There are many requirements needed to become a mod but everything starts with the applications, we don't take petitions sorry.

2. Let Taz spin able to deflect projectiles in random direction

A channel to suggest game improvements without unnecessary debate. Basically a channel where you have a bot send the suggestion and then people can give it a thumbs up or down but cant chat. Its a fight every time that one person disagrees with an idea and then everyone starts fighting. Im not suggesting replacing the feedback channel, just an alternative if people dont want to debate it. I know that the devs check those channels but it cant hurt to have a clutter free and organized list of suggestions for them to view

The problem with the game feedback channel, is that whenever you give valid game feedback/criticism, someone who's fought a lvl2 player of said character, will go "I fought a so and so this morning and it was perfectly balanced to me!" Not taking into account that the person they fought was a lvl2 6 year old on his dad's PlayStation. And then the chat gets filled with conversation rather than the actual feedback.

With that being said, could there be a longer cooldown in that channel to discourage arguing with other people's feedback?

At this point I give up with this server. I haven't once been given good information on playing or improving at the game. Instead over time all my energy I chose to expend here was to fight against what amounts you scrub quotes mentality. Except it somehow exists here unironically and without self awareness.

But fact is since release I largely have seen anything constructive and most people seem more interesting in being here to be mean. Wich over time resulted in my following suit.

I'll stick around for notices on streams and new characters. I'll play the game.

There are many ways to prevent the discussions. One of them being bots, the other by making the slowmode timer in the feedback channels much greater.
And yeah, bots are not allowed by WB which is why I said this server lacks good administration. WB has some seriously archaic viewpoints. We can't even be sure the mods are allowed to ping/use announcements a lot since we don't know the extent of WBs micromanaging.
Not to mention that it's not the mod's jobs to actually do announcements. They are there for moderating.

So ok what I was saying the other day was: I think it'd be a good idea if we could at least get reactions back to the regular populace instead of just mods. I understand all the reasons they were initially taken out, as well as the reason that there's slowmode, no pictures/videos in general, etc, etc. At this point, however, this community is a much smaller, more close-knit community and I think that everything else can probably stay the same, but comment reactions I dont think would hurt anything too much.

At first there was a lot of people in here, a lot of trolls. Now, there are still trolls but usually the most it amounts to is "dead game" or flaming someone, and those people usually end up getting muted or kicked anyway, and if spamming becomes a serious problem or people are abusing the hell out of it, then y'all can always remove it again with the click of a button, but especially considering that theres almost never even 15 active chat participants at any given time, reactions would probably be an OK feature to allow at this point, in my opinion. Competitive channel isnt setup. In case you didn’t know, that channel is read only and has been read only forever. People who are looking for a place to find ranked players need a channel to talk and find them separately from the casual channel. Discord also rate limits bots, and as such the bot often cannot keep up as quickly.

I don't think MultiVersus would feel particularly great on Mobile without a lot of changes to the game design, but it could totally run on any modern high end smart phone.

I've seen other Discords incorporate a leveling system per user activity that's based off their game's respectve rankings and I think it could work nicely on here as well.

So, for example, for every comment a user makes every minute or so, they gain a certain number of points that go towards their overall rank in the server.

So the more frequent users, for example, will get Diamond or Master as time goes on and the more basic ones will still get Bronze, Silver, or Gold depending on how active they are.

Just a cool idea I wanted to share to encourage more engagement on the Server.

Most recently I noted a word that isn't offensive in the least being moderated. If it was offensive, it wouldn't be in the nickname of Tyson Fury. It wouldn't be the name of a robot fighter in Pacific Rim. Let's get real with ourselves. This is ridiculous. I'm not calling for their removal but having one person in total control is NEVER a good idea. You should also probably check for unjust bans, due to the same type of thing. I think yall should use dyno bot to start auto deleting links. Maybe if u deem it have a role for more trusted people that can post stuff? Its weird that you let people send links, but not images considering a link can do a lot more harm

dyno would also auto delete all of their messages when you ban them which would savw you the hassle of deleting individually

The former, technical issues, account issues, that sort of thing. There should be a secondary channel to discuss game stuff like accessibility though. I do think that's a good suggestion.
