In today's update Iron Giant's up air and air/ground down special has had adjustments to fix a bug that allowed it to hit repeatedly. Another adjustment to knockback angle for Iron Giant's Up Special was added to help make it harder to 0 to death combo opponents. #MultiVersus

A server-side patch should be going out tonight that should help with Finn Gem Dash, Finn Ground Down Attack and Arya Up Special consistency Iron Giant Up Special chaining zero-to-death. Batman picking up the batarang also now returns 10.15s up from 9.45s. #MultiVersus

@VictoriaKFrost The requests determine a lot of which characters we pursue. Requests just recently directed our team towards putting more resources towards a character that would have been much further out.
Bugs Bunny (neutral special) safe cooldown increased from 27s to 30s and the safe now has a lifespan of 18s. This is to prevent creating prolonged periods where Bugs Bunny was difficult to approach in 1v1 matches.

IG up special projectile immunity starts up at frame 20 up from 1. To provide more counterplay as there’s so little recovery and the attack was completely safe to projectiles

@AngryJoeShow Hi, the team is working to get Guilds and the Store, but it will still be a little bit out. Our main focus is still core systems, stability, and bug fixes. The patch next week will be one of our biggest ones yet, which adds a lot of cool things. We're getting closer everyday.

We will be keeping an eye on how this update affects the player experience and we are ready to implement additional patches if any problems arise. This will be a process for us to get there, but this is our first step towards truly accurate hitbox/hurtbox detection.

Morty Down Special Ally save reset point duration changed from 5s to 3s. This is to add a bit more skill to the Ally save.

Taz Tasty (Chicken) debuff was causing long duration passive play. The decay was 5s and a total of 18 stacks each requiring 1s to decay. In worse case scenarios an opponent that wanted to wait out the Tasty debuff had to wait 23 seconds.
Gizmo being attached to allies: increasing attach to same player cooldown to 15s from 9s.
Reducing damage needed to knock Gizmo off ally to 7 damage from 10 damage.

We've reduced the Taz's Tasty decay start to 4 from 5. Tasty decay rate reduced to 0.5 from 1.0. Tasty Block duration to 8 from 6 (duration that prevents you from receiving the Tasty debuff after you've turned into a chicken).

Hey MVPs! We have received some questions regarding multikeyboard native support in local play. This feature can be enabled by adding -multikeyboard to your launch options in the Steam game settings.
To ensure this works correctly:
Hello MVPs!
We were too strict with the Starter Daily Login event by making it so players needed to login everyday in order to get the rewards. We’ve learned from our first event and future login events will have more leeway if days are missed.
To make up for this we will be bringing back the Starter Daily Login event and it will run to the end of Season 1. So as long as you log in 11 days anytime during Season 1 you will receive all the rewards.

We wanted to give everyone an update on areas we’re working on for MultiVersus. Current priorities for the team include:
-Improving Xbox performance
-Lowering match desync rates
-Removal of some gameplay loops that had little counterplay
A patch is coming soon that should be a good step in the right direction of addressing these 3 issues.
On top of this, we're working on and testing the following features, which we know are important to players. We'll share updates on each as they become available.
-Spectator in Custom Games
-Free-For-All Queue
-Setting to Swap Neutral & Forward Attacks
-Setting to Turn Off Team Colors
-Setting to Adjust Input Buffers
-End of Game Stats
-Allowing Players to Keep Their Party Together When Going from PvP to Rifts/PvE (and back again)
-Replay Button for Rifts/PvE to Immediately Begin a Node Again
-Dedicated Neutral Dodge Button Setting
-Camera Adjustments for 1v1 Matches
-Ranked Mode (we wanted a bit more time to get our balance right before unleashing Ranked)
We’re re-evaluating Batlepass progression. Additionally, we’re evaluating where we're distributing Battlepass XP. For this season we’ll be adding more Battlepass XP to PVP matches. We’re increasing XP to 50xp up from 10xp for a win and 25xp up from 5xp for a loss.
On the balance front, our goal is always to make every character fun to play as, with, and against, so we’ll be continuing to tune and balance each fighter to provide the best possible gameplay experience.
Keep in mind, timing for adding features and implementing fixes could shift based on testing and other factors, but we wanted to give a quick preview of our current priorities.

Hi MVPs, we’re making a change so that playing PvE Rifts is more rewarding! Going forward, we will be awarding players with 10 Battle Pass XP for every star they earned in all PvE Rifts. This means stars players have already earned will also reward them Battle Pass XP.
