But just recently purchased a new phone, an upgrade from my old one, with an android 11 os and when I logged in my sky acct, this is what my hair is like and basically every sky kid i meet since.

Tell me a device with AVB verity that has an unlocked bootloader that passes CTS. Yes, before AVB verity (forced to be on all phones Android 8.0+) you didn't need a locked bootloader to pass CTS. Please be sure you know what you're talking about before saying outdated information. "Some old Samsung devices" didn't have AVB verity. Now, tell me a single Knox enabled Samsung device that passes CTS without any root involvement. (Like Kdragon's USNF.)

Since we're talking about a game that requires an Android version that has AVB, please tell me why I'm wrong that "any device" that could run Sky needs to have the bootloader flag show 0 instead of 1.

Also: Magisk hide wipes the log file that shows that flag, so you might have a case of placebo. (Most custom kernels, also like: https://github.com/Uzephi/Nash_Oreo/commit/6eeb12507dd03d88e227429175aa83edbcea8851 )

https://developer.android.com/training/safetynet/attestation Any device with proper CTS certification (any made in the last 5 years) should fail when bootloader state says "unlocked." Once CTS and Safetynet launched, that was basic knowledge and hiding that state has been a fight from independent device tinkerers since.

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling. That error would only pop up if the app didn't come from the Play store or if there was some type of corruption to the app. A reinstall from the Play store should fix the error in both situations.

Building a 32bit OS takes minutes, building a 64 bit OS can take an hour or two. When you're doing dev builds, you might make over 20 different test builds before launching the final user build. The less time it takes to build and test is significantly less on a lower bit depth. Less time = less cost. (Edit: Building is in reference to the process of a computer building the OS from source code, not the coding aspect of it. That's a whole different aspect there that wouldn't have much cost difference compared to tying up a build box for a budget device when it could be used on a flagship release.)

Other than getting a new device, no. I've done some... Things to try 60fps out on my Adreno 615 and it would never get above 40fps, so it's highly unlikely to get 60 fps unless there's some amazing optimizations in the future in Sky.

There would be three main reasons your device would be incompatible: Not strong enough hardware to handle the game's demanding graphics, your device was built on a 32 bit OS or doesn't have Vulkan drivers, or your device is failing Google's Safetynet check. What device is giving you the message that it's incompatible? (Model number, like my Pixel 3a is Sargo)

Apologies for misunderstanding and giving wrong info- Ignore what I said above. Since you've rooted your phone, it's very likely that's what causing it. Doing so will cause many apps to cease working because you fail authenticity checks. Unfortunately it's not Sky's problem and it's you messing up with the rooting. It's very easy to completely mess up your phone, especially if you don't know what you're doing, and it's irreversible. Credit to Kai for this info because I don't have enough brain cells for this

This is Mima, i am play sky in my iOS device and have quite a good amount of progress. But i wanted to play it on my android whenever i am out as well. So i linked a Google account in iOS and updated my gameplay there.

When I came to android and tried link that account i realised that i had some other Google account here and linked it by mistake, so i tried to switch account where it fades for a second and returns not allowing me any way to add my main account.

Is there something i can do to fix it.

Things i tried
1)Removed to secondary account from my phone totally and reinstalled sky but then i saw that it didn't change and showed the same account.
2)Changed the account in play games to the main one but doesn't show up when i put switch.
3)Cleared the app data and tried again many times.

I wish you ping me when a solution is found.

What did you do on Android to try to open your sky account? If you've linked your sky account on ios to Google, you should be able to go on your Android and tap 'sign in method' and sign in with the exact same Google acc you linked your sky account to

Cause on most of my other realms from dawn all the way up to valley I have all of them 💯 BUT there are some higher tier stuff still left there but I was also able to still be 100 and still got to have my elder hairs from eden? But with wasteland it seems I have to get the cape that's 45 hearts to have it completed I assume? Other then the 50 hearts for the black cape. Everything above the first Wing buff unlock up to the second is required. Some spirits do not have a second Wing buff in which everything under those trees are required. Any unlocked tree with a second Wing buff do not require anything above the second Wing buff to be unlocked to complete the constellation

As for the record button, you may need to log out and back in to Sky. When logging back in, you should be prompted of permissions to give Sky. The one that is default unselected is the one that you need turned on to be able to record

i've been trying to send my friend hearts for the past week or so, i just now noticed that my candle count isnt going down when i send hearts. i asked if they were receiving anything, and they said no. whenever i try to send a heart it still says it costs 3 candles but then i get a pop up saying i've sent a heart. is this bugged or normal??

It's normal, somewhat- It's the anti heart trading system to stop people from exploiting it. We don't have an accurate explanation of how the feature works since they mostly refused to communicate with us about it, but we have players that went out of their way to test it and figure out what's what

A fun fact i got from this back on the last double heart event, is that it usually takes 30 mins to unlock heart trade, and sometimes takes less when farming togheter.
The weirdest thing, that makes this update bad and pointless, is that the person who create the invite link or offer the candle, is always able to send a heart lol, making some of their intentions like stopping scams avoided easily. The right thing would be to lock both sides to send heart, i have no idea if this was updated after these 5 months.

You would need to look up how to change that to change your Google Play Region to another country to reenable purchases. Be aware, Google only allows a region change once every 365 days. Also, Toast's advice was crystal clear and very true. If you run into any issues while using a v.p.n., there will be no official support to fix them. It's an unsupported connection method due to the packet modifications done while rerouting traffic.

Vulkan is only problematic because companies can't do a simple merge from Vulkan's source code for some reason. It's a great API in theory, but bad in practice on Android since there will be companies who skip out on updates to save labor costs. (They have to have someone human make sure the merges don't have any errors and if they do; fix their problem in the code since Vulkan Source should work out of the box and not error on a pure merge)

You wonder why Vulkan doesn't have many issues on PC? Because they stay up to date. Blame the manufacturer who can't keep their devices up to date to save a few bucks. Heck, my GTX980 from 2015 has the most recent update to Vulkan drivers, because nVidia cares about customer retention.

Whether you want to believe it or not, all smart phones are are small PC's. Why can't they stay up to date?

If you're just looking to do some web browsing, video streaming, social media and some gaming, any recent Samsung S series would be great and should last you a few years. Try to avoid the A series, unless you like lag spikes. There is a list floating somewhere with cheaper options that would play the game great. Searching "list of 60 fps phones in:Android-Questions" should bring up a few results of that list.

It would be better if implement upscaler like fsr. I have tried losslessly recording sky game play (with game rendering at native res) and ran it through fsr upscaler. It looked good enough. Works great for games like sky.

It- It very much exists on an android, there's a million of android players. If you can't find sky on your device, that means your device is incompatible with Sky, meaning your device doesn't reach the requirements to run/handle Sky. There's nothing you can do about that unfortunately, other than get a device that does support Sky. I believe there's a list pinned of what the minimum requirements are of a device

It's good enough for Sky, yes. 60 fps? It might not have. The Mali G68 MP4 is just slightly worse than the lowest Adreno GPU for 60 fps (the Adreno 540). It really depends on what benchmark TGC uses for "GPU Score."

Unfortunately due to the power of the Redmi 7A it looks like the odds of it being able to play sky are very slim. I was unable to confirm whether or not it runs on a 64-bit operating system however regardless of that the GPU within the phone, Adreno 505, while being compatible with Vulkan, is not very powerful and would struggle so bad in sky that it would be almost unplayable.

A friend wants to unlink an account [she has it linked to gmail] so she can connect it to another email.
The case esque in the section of 'unlink' can not, the error message appears when wanting to do it

You cannot unlink Gmail accounts once it's been synced to your Sky progress at all.

It's a security measure to prevent account theft, trades, and sales. This restriction is for Gmail, Apple IDs, Game center IDs, and Nintendo accounts.

If you mean switch account, you need to log off your sister existing account and log in yours

You need to remove your sister's Google account (make sure you and your sister knows the password and Gmail), after that add yours Google Account in it. After you add your Gmail , log in Sky with your Google account

It's complicated but unfortunately using Google Play Games changing account cause corruption to the game data

Best option would be to use the multi user feature in Android if the device supports it. Only downside is the second user on the device will have it's own install of Sky, so it would use double storage space.

Try to log off and login your account that you want to switch on Settings. Using Google Play Games switching account is buggy so it wasn't recommended. Also, can you please remove the video because you showed your gmail account

google play games changed its look slightly again with new security updates but the process is still the same. I did want to update the video though since my screen recorder now records taps/touches which makes it easier to follow! note that in the sky app it looks a bit different now too, you'll have to confirm the account you want to log into multiple times once you select google account.

open the google play games app / scroll down to "change account for games" / click the big green "change" button on the game you want to not automatically log into / select "ask every time" / now you should be able to log into other google accounts on the same android device from the sky app by clicking "sign in method" at the welcome screen

disclaimer: this tutorial is to help situations like families sharing a device but each family member having their own sky account. please be aware that having multiple sky accounts on the same device can corrupt data on one or both accounts. customer support wont be able to fix it for you if that happens. do not make purchases on multiple accounts on the same device.

been a known issue that payment goes through but ap doesnt appear, people have recommended to do this again or tap on "restore purchase" to try and get your ap ( this worked out in their favour, most of the time )

Hello, I'm currently playing Sky just fine on a sort of lower end phone (the Redmi note 7), I play just fine but I know that everytime I take out the phone to play Sky, I'm chipping away the little lifespan the phone has 😔. I've been thinking about it and decided that if the phone does get critical I'll buy a new one that can be more than capable to run Sky, but Im not very keen on buying an expensive phone just for "gaming". So I noticed the poco x3 is not too expensive and from the specs it seems more than fine to run Sky. and I'm here to ask, to whoever may know, how does Sky run on it?

The Poco X3 has two 6GB and one 8GB options.
In theory, if your Note has 3 or 4 GB RAM, all of the Poco X3's should run better

Personally recommend to choose a mobile phone with s865 or Dimensity 1200 or above

By the way, try to choose a mobile phone with 8GB Ram, the service life will be longer

SOC of s865 or Dimensity 1200 or above can maintain 60FPS for a long time when playing SKY, but it will still be quite hot

P.S. Samsung phones are not recommended for gaming(Samsung often suppresses SOC performance)
