It sounds like you're really pushing the limits of your device! 🏃 Manufacturers often put a lot of cheap ram and fast-on-paper processor in phones, to save money, but they might lack in optimization and GPU strength (don't confuse with CPU, that's different).

120hz is pretty common nowadays and it's easy to display simple animations at that rate, but that's not equal to how the graphics processor or your manufacturer's optimization can actually render complex game assets and movement in a 3D world (fps is not Hz).

For 120 fps at least an Adreno 740 is recommended You can find a lot of tools on the internet to compare the GPU performance of your phone to others. Your device can be strong in many aspects, but regarding graphics it seems it is rather in the upper-medium category. Fps is also often capped to prevent overheating or crashes (if the phone manufacturer's optimization is not perfect).

It’s how often your screen "blinks" per second, it's called screen refresh rate. It's a display hardware feature, so a high Hz display can function with minimal processing activity, it doesn't need a strong hardware.

What’s FPS? 🧠
This is how many unique frames a game produces each second. It is processing intensive, and depends on the GPU hardware strength, and the optimization of the device.

120Hz and 120FPS are different.
A 120Hz screen can refresh 120 times, but if the device’s graphics processor (GPU) can only handle less FPS for a particular app/game, the display will just repeat some frames. The power of your device’s GPU is what limits the actual FPS. So, while your device might have a high Hz display, it would need a strong GPU to truly deliver the same FPS in Sky.

One big issue we had run into with previous controllers was that the D-pad didn't work with sky.

Hi there! If the play button doesn't load at all, that's an android UI issue (usually happens with a device which has a custom UI), or probably a third party app is conflicting. Try the following:

• uninstall all recently installed apps
• disable all apps over apps features like discord over Sky or messenger bubbles
• remove all notifications from phone's notification tray
• restart the device

Hi, I have two questions I would very much appreciate answers for. Firstly I'm having trouble deleting an account. How do I specifically delete a sky cotl account which is made from a Gmail account.

Secondly, when I first joined the game I joined on my switch device with a Nintendo account. When I later tried to login with the same details on my android phone it made a new account with the same login details.

How do I delete the second account made with the firsts details without effecting the first?

Better still, how can I play on mobile using the Nintendo account I created on my switch?

1. To delete an account you can log in with that account and then go to Settings -> Account -> Account Info -> Delete Account. It'll take at least 30 days to delete, and you can't use that account before then or it'll reset the timer, I believe. You should be able to do this for both the account linked to google, and the extra account linked to nintendo.

2. For signing into the switch account on phone, I'd first recommend using these steps to double check exactly which Nintendo account is linked to the switch profile you use to play the game with.

You can try clearing cache of both apps, please also check if running in background is turned on. It could also be due to the sky's own music stopping Spotify from playing. Have you tried turning down the sky's music volumes?

The headphones appear on your character when you play music or audio in another app while playing Sky (as long as you're not wearing another mask accessory). You can use them any time by putting on some tunes! 🎧 (iOS only, due to limitations in Android hardware)

Tablets are not really designed for gaming but if its custom UI won't conflict with the game, its Arm Mali-G52 GPU is technically capable of running Sky. However, I strongly recommend a different device for playing with this game.

Hello, I tried to unlink my steam account from my sky account, and here's how it goes:

I clicked on settings-account-steam-unlink

Then, it redirects me to the sign in page. Make sure you put the correct linked steam account and password.
Then, steam will make sure that you are trying to sign in to live.radiance thingy (sky game)
After you clicked on the green sign in button, it'll redirect you back to Sky with 2 buttons, unlink or cancel.

I don't see more recent bug reports for your type of device than mid december 2024.
I suggest you also check you have enough available space for the update (as Delta updates require a lot of space, even when the actual game does not take the whole space in reality), and if you use any game center check if it's update.

Hello, so where do i have to contact the sky community when i have THIS problem? It all started yesterday ( 5 pm ) I couldn’t see my friends constellation, I wrote a support and they said they gonna do a update and they might fix that problem in that time but even after the update its not fixed. Today at 8am I went online to see all of my wings (I was lvl 171 before) are gone (means I started at lvl 1) had more candles than before and no longer the amount of hearts what I had yesterday and I was in Eden even tho I did not go there. I wrote a support to that issue as well and also asked my friends if it is maybe because of the update or so. Apperantly no, so I think I’m hacked.. I also checked my links & there’s 2 what aren’t mine and I can’t even delete them because it asks me for the codes (I don’t have the codes since it’s not mine. Help) and when I try to add people it gets deleted after being offline for an hour or longer. I can still login but all my wings are gone, I have lowkey got stuff what I never asked for and I can’t add people because they get deleted, same to my wings when I collect them again. Technically everything what I explain in the video is going over and over again….

It's not a common issue and the game update happened 2 days ago, so something might have happened on your device. Try the following:

• remove all recently installed apps
• disable app-over-app features like Messenger bubbles or Discord over Sky
• if your phone updated its system by chance, try rolling back the android update (not all devices support it)
• make sure you have enough free space on your device: an android needs a few gigabytes to run error free

The glare at the edges of snow is definitely a game bug regarding some devices, click the fire emoji on channel bottom of #report-a-live-bug and Skybot app will contact you for details in DM

Regarding the low resolution, I'm not sure about the Rog, but the S25 uses new Vulkan optimization methods to optimize its performance and it's new, so Sky might not be able to utilize it for now, I recommend to report a separate bug regarding the low resolution.
(and in the bugreport notes you can mention that same happens on your other device)

That explains a lot. Motorola G series has a long history on this server; they have issues with Vulkan since G series came out. At the beginning - even if the hardware was compatible - Motorola G series couldn't run Sky because its system was missing important Vulkan drivers. A few months ago Motorola sent an update to the devices and now they are able to run the game but the drivers are still not complete or up to date. The ultimate solution is nagging Motorola about the Vulkan problem, and as a secondary attempt try to #report-a-live-bug about it hoping devs can find a workaround.

Also, try checking from time to time whether there's a new android update for your phone because it might have potential fixes.

I don't even know what happened and I can't prove it because my phone didn't allow me to screenshot it. But it's happened twice before. I was playing the game then my whole screen turned purple pixels and I couldn't press any buttons in the game. I couldn't press my home button on my phone,, genuinely I couldnt press or do anything. But the game sounds were still running in the background. So I tried to turn my phone off and it didn't let me. Then after messing with my power button and trying to take screenshots, my phone screen turned grey. Then I was able to power off my screen after playing with the power button more. And my phone's back to normal now, but everything that would have been a screenshot is not on my camera roll. This has only happened when I'm playing the game, it's concerning because it doesn't let me do anything on my phone at all. Next time it happens I'll use another phone to take a picture of the screen.

• They either deleted you from the constellation: deletion allows to show outfit changes, and sometimes it can be accidental because of the button placement.
• There's also an ongoing constellation bug which can result in the same problem: hearts and lights are not sent to some random friends.

It depends on a lot of other variables, like software optimization, kernel thermal management, and the heat dissipation of the actual device. So a processor in itself can't let you see or know the full picture. If you're planning to get a Rog phone 9 or a Samsung s25 (they are using that chipset as well), Sky is not optimized with them yet, the graphics can be blurry/low for a while until a future fix.

I have 2 sky pins that arnt star scanning
I have a s24+ and I've never used nfc scan before with this phone.
Does anyone have any trouble shooting advice? I've double checked my nfc settings are enabled and turned it on and off again and tested the star on basicly every inch of my phone

I can scan pins on my S24 ultra. Have you tried taking out the casing to find where the nfc chip can be read? Also, don't scan using the painted side. The chip is that yellow button with a on the back.
Mine could read from the left edge when i slide the pin's back along.

Make sure you have the game open with your sky account, and that you're using the "STAR" option in the in-game settings to scan.

If you're not sure where your NFC detection area is located on your phone, the nfc setting on Samsung shows you the area it's located for your model if you click on the setting (not the enabled button).

Or you can reference this example from the Official Samsung Website for your model

(you may need to try scanning a few times in the outlined area to find where the nfc works the best to read your pin)

If the NFC setting is turned on and you're scanning using the STAR setting in-game, you should be able to scan your pin.

One thing I can think of rn is: You have to equip the cape that u don't own in the cape workshop, so in the same building without leaving to Aviary. Your capeless should appear wearing that cape and that is what should stop the game crashing.

I've tested it multiple times, it works on my end. It is to fix the Interaction Button not working and not being able to fly properly.

The fix:

• I reboot my phone, when it's done I turn on my controller.
• Then I connect to the game without touching the controller.
• When you are fully connected to the game it's done! The buttons work properly.

Facebook is known to have issues with logging in. Try to uninstall (or install) Facebook and restart the device. Once you can log in it's recommended to link an alternative log in method in game settings (such as Google) for similar cases.

I have the same issue on my midrange phone (Samsung A73) and I'm sure that the higher end phone with higher antutu score would perform just fine since they had better GPU and they won't notice the lag

For the following picture, I set the resolution to the lowest and the fps to 60

the 1st one shows only a 70% load facing away from the labyrinth but it increases to 100% when facing to the labyrinth. The fps stays the same because the GPU can still handle it. FPS drops in higher resolution.

One possible cause is your internet is not strong /fast enough on your device.
Try checking your internet source, disconnect and reconnect it from your device, close any app in your device that you are not using (to free more internet usage for Sky), try using a different internet source if you can, restarting your wifi modem if you use one,. some of the basic troubleshooting.

Try closing any app that you are not using and check your wi fi. Try using a different source of internet if you can. Because wi fi can be one of the causes for the game not to properly start.

Y'all keep in mind also that is the first day of an Event, so also servers might be more visited by more players than regular days.

I mean, it's going to suck. The graphics aren't going to be pretty, and the frame rate is going to be cinematic. But it will play it. If you could, I would recommend getting a better quality phone. Do not buy new phones. That's kind of dumb. Just by used ones. I have an aftermarket Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It works just fine runs just about anything. (I don't know if you're invested in mobile device repair like I am, but if you are, building your own device from the ground up like I did is probably the least expensive option.

Anyway, yes you can run it on that, no it's not going to be a great experience.

As all of their a series phones are. Their top quality phones are the s series, their mid-range to low-end phones are the A series. Once again though, I wouldn't recommend buying any brand new s series. They're way too expensive. And they're not really worth it. Any flagship from about 5 years ago or newer should run anything just fine.

I'd recommend you check more chinese based company (Infinix, Tecno, Redmi, POCO, etc) phone as they sometimes gives better value, though most of them has a roughly similar performance as Galaxy a06. Maybe there's one that suits your needs and preferences more.

Another option is to buy an aftermarket phone but you need to do some additional reserach and you gotta be careful.

In conclusion Galaxy a06 will run just fine. 420k antutu score is average for that range of price

I suggest you check closely on the minimum specs that are pinned in this channel. Items like -ARM 64bit with Neon Kernel and OS, Vulkan, and the GPU, for example, are very important to be able to play Sky smoothly. Adreno GPU’s, Snapdragon GPU’s, work better than Mali, but sometimes are not always available for all the regions for any given device.
I suggest you compare what is available for you and your budget with sites like GSM Arena: https://www.gsmarena.com to confirm the requirements.
To give 2 examples: Google pixel 5 devices work well, as far as I understand, Samsung Galaxy S series (you will be able to play with some A series devices, but can be less smoothly that you may be looking for)

I used to play on an S8 for about a year until it became a baked potato when i run sky on it. The GPU is too old now. Upgraded to S20fe with no issues on 60fps since Nov 2021 and now using a S24U that can go up to 120fps. No lag at the bloom event area hedges on the S24U.
Better to get a unit that uses snapdragon chip for stability, i haven't face crashing issues. The ones i gotten so far are platform specific instead of device specific.

I've been trying to get controllers to work on sky for my Android phone I've used three different ones and I restarted my phone and everything and it still doesn't work the way it's supposed to and I've tried that work around and it doesn't work for me and the three different controllers that I have used are a moga XP5-X+ wired and wireless , a regular Xbox series X/S controller and a kishi V2 pro so why are the developers ignoring the issue

I totally feel ya, this has been really frustrating. I played in beta for a while and this exact bug happened during these same updates and lasted 2 months. 2 years ago we suddenly cant join eachother through constellation tp and we can only see eachother by teleporting to a mutual friend. We dont experience this to anyone else. Galaxy A series is the entry level of Samsung with the least optimization and budget hardware components by the manufacturer. It features Adreno 610, a half a decade old GPU, which was already back then just a small upgrade from its predecessor.

Are you using the start up menu to link? You should log in with your existing method then use settings > account to link

Some tips and extra information:

• Eden has no dye in or past the Point of No Return and black dye from elsewhere can also complete the related seasonal quest.
• Vault of Knowledge has dye in the Archives for now (the maze behind the 2 player door).
• Hidden Forest has black in the Wind Paths, but with very little chance. You can be luckier elsewhere.
• Hourly rotations for black and white colors vary. Some hours can get very good, some others have mostly common colors only.
• Syuan mentioned battlefield in the Eden part, but it's a small mistake, it's in Golden Wasteland

Hi, I'm a bit struggling: I wanted to go on sky but a windows appreared telling me Google play services weren't authorized using mobile data and asked me if I wanted to delete the recovery. Answered no but then I couldn't log in. It never did that so I tried uninstalling and re-installing the game but now when I want to log in, it ask the same thing and after I answer no, the game act as if I have no account/I'm on local account
I don't know what to do and very afraid to say yes.

Sadly, Steam doesn’t allow Sky to save your account and log you in without having to verify it again.

To workaround this, you can log into the game, and link another account service (like Google) in ⚙️ > Account. Then, use that new account link to log in on mobile.
Try to avoid Facebook since it’s known to cause issues and be unreliable, and have in mind that Google and PSN links are permanent
