There is no friend limit. You can have unlimited friends — but once you reach 110 friends in your constellation (60 favorites and 50 on the normal constellation) they will not be displayed until the constellation rotates or you free up some space on it

That usually happens if you light people too fast, it's a bug! Reopening the constellation might not always fix it, but you also don't need to restart the game completely to fix it. Instead, you can try using the Aviary constellation. If the bug happens in the Aviary, switch to the Home constellation, and vice versa. ✨

Nope, regular candles will not expire, you can also forge 100 at once, however the forging animation will only ever show 11 at max, and the candle counter will take a very long while bc it counts up every single candle.
Also make sure to check with the chevrons that you are really still collecting wax (bc bugs sometimes and it will easier be overlooked with unforged candles than if you regularly forge)

I wouldn't overthink it rn really, if they didn't receive a mute warning/alert it's more than likely the issue is caused by the server instability we've been experiencing since yesterday (chat's been buggy since yesterday).
While some bugs take time to solve, server issues are usually solved quickly, so I recommend waiting for the server issues to be solved, and if the problem persists even after that, then I'd look more into it, whether by #report-a-live-bug or contacting support.

That bug often occurs due to the game not keeping up with rapid interactions when lighting friends in the constellation. When you light people too fast, the game might struggle to register all actions correctly, leading to the screen zooming out or the wax that remains floating without being interactable. (Example image)

This issue can also be related to network synchronization problems. Just like what you have shared. When you return home from other activities like exploring realms or participating in events, the game needs to sync your current state with the server and during this syncing process, any delays or interruptions in your network connection can cause inconsistencies, such as the screen zooming out or the wax's remains from the friend constellation without being interactable. This happens because the game is trying to update and process multiple pieces of information at once, and any lag or delay can disrupt this process. After all, needs a good network connection to work properly, and any issues with your connection can affect how well the game syncs with the server.

I hope that's understandable enough. I'm so sorry for the wall!!
