It is good practice to get in the habit of spoiler tagging things like eden and the office. which is likely why alex provided that guidance as it applies to every channel in the server.

I personally will not spoiler tag things in the beta discussion channels, and do not expect anyone to police fellow players about it.

A Brief History on Traveling Spirits in Beta:

🔹 We had no plans to have TS appear on beta at all after testing. We did not want players grinding on beta for the costly TS items unnecessarily burning themselves out.
🔹 We received a lot of requests to have TS on Beta for testers to have "something to do" when there's downtime.
🔹 Based on that feedback, we started adding TS to beta in an exact mirror of Live.
Now that we are testing TS changes in beta, it is temporarily NOT a mirror of the Live schedule.
🔹 When testing concludes, the TS schedule will return to a mirror of Live.

The service we use for chat filter/moderation in-game does not support all languages so when the system does not know what to do with a word or phrase it does not recognize, it generally errs on the side of caution and will block the message. It also takes into account previous messages sent and may become more aggressive if you continuously hit the filter since it assumes some sort of subversion is taking place. If something truly innocent gets filtered it is best to submit a bug report, include screenshots if you can of the filtered text. if you don't have a screenshot mentioning what language you were speaking in. if you were switching between languages, include any you may have been recently using.

She said she downloaded beta from Play store because apparently when she tried to download the live version her device showed the message “Your operating system cannot download the app”; yet somehow it did allow her to download beta?? Anybody knows what might be the issue here? I had no idea how to help, but I added her to friends and said I’d ask around

Well, the game is about (friendship) and grinding. At least two realms a day will do nicely, the first spirits you relieve give you one extra candle, and the founders cape give you a bunch.

that's an error on google's end then. if she can play beta, she should be able to play live. #android-questions has some tips pinned to try and fix the issue. but a brand new player shouldn't really be playing beta, since it's so unstable and progress can be wiped at any time

Speaking of upgraded capes, they are not as bad as I thought they would be. I particularly like the Navy and purple one.
The orange/yellow one looks better with darker orange edges IMO, but the current one looks alright
Red cape should probably has darker red edges as well
The green and grey don't match very well IMO. Maybe darker green would look better? Gray-ish green works too.

In Beta, that's the system right now, pretty much.

People who don't have the season pass for that season has to buy the pass to get certain items from the Travelling Spirit. You would click on the item with the pass icon on the friendship tree, and it'll direct you to buy the season pass required to gain said item.

i believe if there's a season happening during the time of the ts, you have to have the current season pass to access the ap locked items. If it's off season, you have to have the preorder pass for the upcoming one
it's different in beta right now because the preorders for the new season arent accessible yet

Android global release player still don't have the opportunity to buy all the items of any season except if someone used the update bug to get dismiss and sassy (wich is more than 150 candles easily) iirc, still the normal players have been waiting for almost 8 months for all the items of a season :0

But right now, the Travelling Spirit Season Pass coincides with the current Season. So you must own the current season pass to gain items for Travelling Spirits.

No. You still will need a lot of candles. 50+, but not as many as current Live prices, like 70+.

The system is to make it fair for people who spent money on the Seasons. People are getting items for free in Live right now. I think it's a fair and just system, that obviously needs some improvements, but it's a fine solution to solve both parties.
