Have you double checked your audio and made sure it's fully unmuted and working? If you're using some type of headset instead of speakers, is your headset turned on and unmuted, fully plugged in, etc?

If you're using a Bluetooth headset, and it can be plugged in, try that instead.

Lastly, you can try resetting your volume mixer:

If you use windows 11, right click on the speaker in the bottom right tray, then open up the volume mixer, and click reset.

If you use windows 10, open the sound settings, click on advanced, then scroll down and click on reset.

Decor doesn't take up any space in your storage chests or lockboxes. You can also put it on an empty Housing Plot, known around here as an IKEA plot. If you still want to get rid of it, trashing it is the only way.

Nope, I completed Up the Hill and never got Through the Woods because I visited all the stables before talking to Nai'o. I think that's what caused the glitch because it just skips to Up the Hill once you tell him you already visited all the stables. I think since Through the Woods never activates, it's somehow glitching his schedule package and disabling it permanently.

I was just wondering if anyone has found a way to somehow get Nai'o to resume his schedule instead of just being a static NPC camped at the central stables.

Yes. The chance of stunning bugs is related to your Bug Belt, not the type of Smoke Bomb used (except the Supreme one, which has a 100% chance to stun). Sticky bombs slow the bug down if it isn't stunned.

I do not. I also completed all the Prismbeard quests and he was moving around with Auni correctly when this questline was active. Is anyone else having issues with using their wish ribbons for the maji market? (Do I post this here or in tech help?) Mine appears to be bugged. The first time I had 2 tickets and dyed them the same color, then went to donate them to the tree and skipped the cutscene (as I have seen it many times before and was in a bit of a hurry) After the cutscene, both tickets were gone.

But since then, I haven't been able to interact with the tree. I thought maybe it was bugged for the type I picked (Blue/luck), but now I'm sitting here with 2 luck, 1 longevity, and 1 prosperity ribbon and I cannot interact with the tree.

Rather, the prompt for it shows up, but no matter how often or hard I mash the F key, I get absolutely nothing in response. I was worried I glitched it the first time I interacted with it... It says I made 2 wishes, so it at least accepted my ribbons the first time. Has this happened to anyone else?

hodari will need to be at level 3 friendship if you're trying to start a romance with him.
romantic gifts can be given once a week (1 chocolate and 1 lily per week). they won't accept more until the following week.
also, if you've given him a daily gift (not a weekly want) he won't accept any more romantic or daily gifts until the next daily reset ( <t:1771732800:t> your local time)

by buying the Founders Pack, you'll gain the Courier Pet ability for 4 slots (meaning you can send 4 slots from your inventory to your home storage with a pet equipped).

The wish ribbons are sent to you 1x per real life day in your mailbox at the front of your plot.

You may also need to check the glowing lantern to the left of the tree to collect wishes that you dyed and deposited to the wish tree.

So Path is a new Feature. It full name is Lunar path. Its a way to get unique Items in the game. When you open your inventory its near the Item store. When you open it you will get several paths at once. From the image you've shown your on the Path of the Kitsuu. So you will get Kitsuu related Items.

You Get the Lunar Points from Leveling up and more importantly from the Bulatan board bundles. Each Bundle gets you 10,000 points. Though you have to switch paths when one is done to make sure you don't waste points. I learned that the hard way.

at the luna new year market, the game ends automatically after 10 irl minutes. in the underground it ends once the deck is exhausted (much sooner than 10 minutes). the ai doesn't seem to be very smart so it's usually better to play with other people.

the difference is because they changed how it works at the luna new year market to try and deter spampot players (people who force the game to end as soon as possible by spamming the pick up/discard button instead of playing the game the way it was intended)

I noticed recently that the bot players don't ever take any of the discarded cards. They only draw from the deck itself. So, leaving it all to chance like that will make it take a loooong time for the AI to win.

For those struggling with room in your chest? 5 gold ore=1 bar you save 4 slots/ 4 iron ore=1 iron bar you save 3 slots, see what all your ores will save on room by turning them into bars, someone probably has already done this but it is new to me so I thought I would share. If your plot is closed to the public but they're able to come over then its because either 1 you were in a party with them and it glitched on their end, or 2 they're on your friendlist,

As for getting rid of them just go into over head view, permissions/privacy, find their name and kick them, or you could ask them to leave, then kick if they dont or wont listen

Been trying to get people off the "followed by" list for awhile. Am I missing something? There are no three dots to click like there are when unfriending. I've tried right clicking too. Just doesn't seem to be an option. Blocking doesn't remove them also as the show up again once unblocked. Someone brought up in Palia general if they remembered correctly removing followers is the same as unfriending. Well I don't have that option and whenever I look it up online it says removing followers just isn't possible. My block list is basically people who sent random friend reqs that I declined and they got put on the followed by list. I feel bad keeping them perma blocked, but that's the only way to permanently keep them off the followed by list as they just pop back in there once unblocked. (Temp unblocked someone to get pic)

So, no, there are no rewards for the event as a whole once it's over. The only rewards are things actually at the market, like the hidden chests, the things you can buy with the envelopes, the wish tree, the prize wheel, etc. But once the luna new year market is over, those are gone until next year.

Are you looking for more storage space, or just a storage box in another location? If the second thing, have you tried just crafting one and placing it? I think the limit is like, you'll only get storage space from a certain number of chests, but you might be able to place more down if you just want to access your storage. You can only have three lockbox storage chests. There's no way to get more.

Did you activate the new path? You have to click the lightning bolt in the corner of the new path on the first lunar paths page. It will not count your lunar XP if you don't activate it. Every time you switch to a new path you have to do this step.

that's how it's supposed to be. they give either 200 gold, 200 lucky envelopes or 5 renown. since you can get one ribbon per real life day and the event runs for a month, i suspect they didn't want to make it too overpowered for those who play regularly.

FWIW you'll get plenty of renown just by playing the game, there is WAY more renown than you need to buy everything

so i just recently returned to palia, and when i last played the furniture dying happened in ur own home. i see now u can change the tint on items using something else.. how do i access that..?

You still use the modification bench but now it’s a tint crafter, and you make the tints there. Then you can tint the furniture in its place on your plot (no need to pick it up anymore and take it to the bench). When you click on the item you’ll see a prompt for tinting (it’s shift-F on PC), which then opens a window where you can test out all the different tints and choose the one you want.

You need to likely re-read every journal you've collected, slowly, so the game recognizes that you read/collected the item. This usually will let most players continue on with the quest.

It would be best to follow a guide for 2026, go to each chest location, take a screenshot to show the chests isn't there, and then send those screenshots into player support for further help.

If you played last year, it could be that some of those chests are from last year as well. There's only 6 chests to collect, so you having 7 makes me think you possibly had some chests from last year already in your storage chests.

If not though, just follow the instructions above and player support will be able to take care of you.

It means that you can connect one more home line room to your structures. I think normally, the limit is 10 rooms connected to each other, so with that upgrade, you can connect 11 rooms to each other. Note that the numbers might be wrong. Only has any impact on home lines though, the two harvest houses and the various rooms you can connect to them aren't impacted by this at all.

You need stone bricks for building a lot of the housing pieces. And you also need them for furniture recipes. You can always make more, so it just depends on your priorities. If you aren't interested in building, then sell the bricks for profit. But if you build a lot, you might find it hard to even keep up enough of a supply of bricks for what you want to do (I'm mining constantly to get more stone to build the stuff I want to build).

it's not stamina, it's a mechanic that converts focus into extra XP when you do an action so you level up faster. so it's not essential to keep your focus up but it's a good idea to early in the game so you can unlock new recipes and stuff more quickly.

Its unfortunately a pretty common issue that gets reported, i guess it happens when the map doesn't load in correctly or in time. Teleporting home from your map should always fix it, or you could keep a Hearth potion on you and use that. It shouldn't happen too often though (hopefully)

Depending on which platform you're on, there are several things you could try: verify the integrity of your files and ensure none are being blocked by other software (such as an antivirus one), verify you've got a strong and stable internet connection, try completely restarting your device (not just sleep mode), clearing the cache, and try a different button just in case the text "any button" is wrong. Then, you need to craft the upgraded tool at your workbench, same as crafting any other item.

That's because you're trying to cut a big tree, true, you'd need to upgrade your tool for that one. You'll probably need to progress a bit further in the game to do that though. For wood, you can either cut a smaller tree on your plot, or you can cut a smaller one in Kilima if you want to keep the trees on your plot.
I just noticed that in your first picture, you already crafted a wooden storage chest and a wardrobe, you should be able to place them by dragging and dropping them from your inventory. (I hope, I'm not usually playing on PC so might misremember about the controls. But you should 100% be able to place them.)

One of the developers said it’s because the well has to cut a hole in the landscape in order for the water to show (there is water under our plots). They are having a hard time figuring out how to make it do this. So it’s not really a bug, just a coding problem and they are aware of it.

It depends what you want to build. If you’re talking about houses/buildings, then no. You have to glitch houses onto red presents to put them on a terrace. But regular decor mostly will go on a terrace (there are a few items that won’t, either because they’re coded that way or they’re buggy—like stone floors act very weirdly and some rugs won’t place on terraces either).

Have you gone to the temple of roots to speak with the gardener there? You can also check your friendship tab for the gardener. You should see a ... inside of the triangle above the level 2, to indicate the quest is activated. And double check your open quest log as well.

If nothing happens upon speaking with him at the temple of roots, you may need to check other open quests related to the temple of roots and complete them.

You could potentially try to shut down your platform and Palia, and then resync your system's date and time as well, as an added extra step. Hopefully by talking to him at the Temple, you will trigger the networking quest!

Okay cool. So you can shut down the launcher or epic, whatever you're using to get onto palia completely. Then, resync your date and time by right clicking the date and time in the bottom right corner of your tray; then, click adjust date and time. then, on the next pop up, hit the "sync now" button even if it says it is synced. Then reload Palia. Hopefully this will help you! If not, it's still a good step to do for Palia every now and then.

If you don't see any changes in the networking quest activating for you in the next day or two, I would recommend sending in a player support ticket. Show the screenshot you gave me here of your friendship tab, a screenshot of your open quest log showing no Networking quest, and then let them know you already synced your date and time and that did not help.

Yes, it was a random change when the seasons changed last fall. One day we woke up and our trees were different colors. My flow trees are also currently in the fall colors as well -- they just turned that one day last fall.

It was basically a bug during the fall. Not all the trees on people's plots changed. You could plant multiple seeds of the same tree and end up with only a few that were orange. And I think if you moved them, they went back to green, although maybe that was after the patch ended. So it was just luck if you got them. I did not end up with any orange trees on my plot.

Honestly the number of hours played has no influence on the RNG/spawn of the pebble. She isn't bugged (more than likely) -- many players have to open thousands of oysters to get the pebble spawn.

The Garden Ladybug does appear when you forage Sundrop Lilies, Briar Daisies, Brightshrooms, Heartdrop Lilies, or Wild Garlic. It is Uncommon, so the spawn rate may be low. Do you hear the bug spook noise? You could be losing it in the grass.

You can ask your server chat, "hey I'm trying to do a quest, can someone request sapwood?" Or rocks, or anything simple that you have. Usually someone in your server will be happy to help you.

If you want to add friends, you will open the friends menu and search a player's in-game username and then use the add friend button. You can also add friends by opening the friend menu and adding someone who is on your same server

If you have more than the two plots, I would highly encourage you to check them all just in case he got sat down one day.

If you want to double check your quests, make sure you completed the vault of the roots, as this is where you get the ancient Galdur statue.

At the end of you can't find him, send in a player support ticket and show them you completed the vault and the bundles for that vault (take screenshots of the completed stuff), and show a screenshot of you searching your storage for it and it not showing up, and let them know you searched every plot. They may be able to offer advice to you on what to do next or return the lost item for you.

So I haven't been able to complete the "all quiet on the umbraan front quest" I did the first part of the quest fine but when you have to search for the dirt pile in minata grove it's just not there. If you have the recipe for other Industrial decor items, you can craft those and learn the wall shelf recipe via Inspiration.
if you don't have any Industrial items available to craft, you can buy an Industrial decor recipe from Tish if you've reached level 4 in Furniture Making, then craft that to unlock a new recipe, and repeat until you get the wall shelf.
It also occasionally appears in Tish's furniture shop.

Though, if its related to your recent issue with accidentally choosing a Shepp you didn't want, unfortunately that cannot be reversed. It is a highly requested feature, both support and the dev team are aware of the demand for it, but it is not yet possible to change.

If it helps, who you choose as a Shepp doesn't affect gameplay at all, it only relates to the one quest and cutscene so far.

You can get enchanting runestones in the following way:

• Two from the potion store for 600 infected essence
• One from an Umbraan Shrine
• Quest reward from Like a Shiprunt

If you don’t have enough enchanting runestones, I would suggest checking your quest log to make sure the above quest shows as complete. Afterward, double check all of your shrines even if you believe you have completed all of them. You should have an accomplishment completed stating that you have finished donating all sacred flowers fo the shrines titled “Paying Respects.” If you verified you have done everything, you’ll need to submit a ticket with player support.

They spawn in the southern portion of Bahari Bay normally around Pulsewater Plains is where I’ve had the most luck from about 3am-6pm in game time. I’ve had luck using a buzzy jar and going by Hodari’s House. Around C7 in Pulsewater Plains is a good spot for a honey lure but make sure you are only catching lady bugs and butterflies. If you still need help, the wonderful people in #🐞│hunting-insects might have some more advice!

First try restarting your game, sometimes its a placement hiccup, if that doesnt work try removing all attachments, windows/roof connectors of neighboring rooms, and remove all ceiling decor of the room below, and wall decor of the room next to it

The cluster limit (how many buildings can be attached in one 'clump') for estate and alchemist housing lines is 10, plus 2 more after unlocking it in the lunar path (iirc the kitsuu path)

It's almost always something on or near the ceiling of the downstairs room. They won't stack with stuff within about one big grid square of the ceiling. You can put the decor back later, but you have to remove it to stack the buildings.

I wanna make sure you get the right info: you can't transfer premium purchases from one account to another. There is also no "backing up" of any data, Palia is on a cloud save. There is no "transferring" of any data either. There is no "merging" of Palia accounts.

You can ask for a Palia account and/or the character you don't use to be deleted by Player Support, but that's it. Then you'll be able to log into the second device with the Palia account you want to keep playing (if you get an account deletion).

I would suggest you keep your palia.com account and character that has your premium purchases in case you change your mind one day and want to keep playing it.

Certainly you can ask about the premium purchases, but the answer is likely no. If you want to link your steam account to the second device, that can be done -- but you won't be able to keep the second Palia character's premium purchases if that account is deleted/put those purchases on the steam account.

If they say yes, I will be extremely surprised.

I don't think they'll be able to transfer cosmetics between two accounts, but I wish you good luck. If they are able to do that, I'll be glad to hear it, but I don't think this is possible given the way the system is built.

You could also ask about moving your old account to your steam account, if you'd rather have the old one with the purchases on steam :-)

However, that'd mean deleting the current steam account.

^^ This too. You could play your character with cosmetics on steam, but that would mean unlinking the steam character you're currently playing.

Does anyone have any tricks for picking up stubborn placements? I accidentally placed these two bushes and haven't been able to select them since. I took everything else off the terrace, tried growing one for a larger target, going into build mode, and nothing is working. I'm going to lose my mind if this is just stuck on my plot now lol

Yeah, they're on PC too. Removing stuff from around the object has fixed a similar issue for me in the past but no luck this time. We're trying to stack it now to try to access it from below.

Nope, but if you've already given him a gift today, he may not accept the chocolates until tomorrow. Then you can only give romance gifts once per week (chocolate or heartdrop).

You have to complete all of the bundles in the vault of the roots at the night sky temple. Have you done this?

Do you have a harvest house? Put a shelf on a wall (any wall except the front or back wall of your harvest house). Put some floors on the shelf. Then put a floor on the terrace. Group select with that floor on the terrace and put it on the floors on the shelf. Now move the shelf with the terrace on it to the front wall of your harvest house (I think the back wall works too but I’m not positive). Everything on the terrace will explode out into the air and then you can grab your bush out of the air. It also works on the inside front wall of the alchemist/estate houses, but it’s a lot harder to get a terrace to fit inside.

How does trading work? ive done the quest and ive seen the stands but dont understand the mechanic

Player A and Player B agree to trade plushies. They enter a trading booth. player A puts their plushie in, player B puts their plushie in, both players hit the "trade" button to lock in the trade. And then it's completed, you now have a new plushie.

Same process for stickers, at the sticker booths.

I see! Other players in your situation have been able to get the last flower they need through player support. What you can do is go back to the wiki, go to each location and take a screenshot showing the flower is not there. And, include screenshots of Tamala's shop and each quest they come from in your completed log -- attach these to your ticket and Player Support should be able to help you out!

They will take 4 inventory slots home if you do not have the founder's pack. If you do have the pack, they will take 8 inventory slots home.
