I'm glad you got it fixed, but if it happens again (before having to restart the game) try just using that number 6 option in your picture. Worth a shot anyway.

Sometimes there's like a delay in what you see. Try leaving your plot and go back to see if it fixes it. Only thing I can suggest.

Yea, apples are bugged right now. Hopefully fixed in the coming patch.

Hi, I have a problem with the Quest "Networking" (The Gardener friendship level 2). After completing the puzzle, the game tells me to return to the gardener, but he just asks me "Why are you here?" and the quest doesn't progress. Is the quest bugged?

@dapper verge , Yes you can keep asking for them to be your Shepp, keep in mind you can only have 1 though,

@frail river have you tried restarting the game? sometimes palia needs a good ol' turn it off and back on again to jumpstart quest progression,

Hi everyone, so probably a million people before me had this problem, but is the Smooth Shiny Pebble actually possible to obtain? 😅 I opened like a million oysters with no luck whatsoever. Maybe you've got some tips on how to speed up the process? I'm simply starting to lose joy of playing just trying to get this pebble...

Hm, I didn't have any issues with that quest and I haven't been able to find any posts about it from steam. reddit or FB which are the main places people like to post about bugs,

when you restarted did it take you out of the temple so you had to re-enter? leaving the temple to refresh also sometimes helps, if you've already done that I'd say maybe send a ticket in to support and they can move you up a stage in the quest past the bugged portion, but tickets are on a 2-4 week wait time right now

It does exist yes, but is definitely one of the hardest things to get, my advice would be to take a break from farming oysters to focus on other things, when your in bahari and going through the waterfront for a quest pick up any random oysters you come across but don't go specifically looking for them, makes the game more enjoyable because you aren't focused on finding 1 thing and 1 thing only

we've also noticed that the more you look for a specific item the less RNG seems to favor you, I grinded a solid real week on osyters and got nothing, took a break from it then one day I was on the water front looking for the rummage pile, picked up like 5 oysters on the way and bam smooth shiny pebble

plus, I'm simply running out of other things to do at this moment, so I'm just afraid that I'll simply abandon the game

theres a maintenance coming on the 7th/8th depending on your time zone, that will add some more things to do, but I don't know when the next story expansion is coming, I know theyre working on the next playable map area though

Question. I have all the Sacred Flower statues but one. I seem to be missing 2 Sacred Flowers. I cannot buy anymore, I've finished the quests, found the ones in the world, and I have killed the creatures to get them for the drops. How do I get the remaining 2?

Hello, me and my wife both play on 2 consoles in the house. My upload speed is 800 and my download speed is 1201, Every 30 seconds or so my character stutters (slight lag/delay) I have been playing this for 2 weeks and its constant. Though on my wife's account she does not experience this one bit, she does not stutter or lag. I have tried my account on her xbox series x and this problem still occurs, where as she plays on my Xbox series x she does not face the same issue as I do. Fixes i have tried: Uninstalled and reinstalling the game onto my console, clearing cache and cookies. Hard resetting my console. Though im reluctant to try and unlink my account from Palia services and trying to relink my account via your servers. Without an understanding from your end. Or maybe even character deletion and obtaining said character back? What are you thoughts? Thanks

Yes, I went to the Gardener inside the temple. I don't have the Gardener's hub on my plot yet. (I think the hub would be the reward for the quest that I'm trying to complete.)

Your wooden storage chest isn't your house -- it's a chest to put your items in. If it's telling you to place a wooden storage chest, you need to craft one and place it down

Okay, finish those first and then come back later for the treasure chest with the other fish/bug gift.

You can't access the alt gift treasure chest until you first get your gift of bug/fish for a quest reward.

Okay cool, checking all possible issues here.

Last thing you can do is close Palia and close Steam entirely. Then, resync your date and time on your PC. Go to date and time settings, and then on that pop up, hit "sync now" even if it's says it's current

And then reopen Palia

the palia wiki has a pretty decent walkthrough for the alt gift treasure chest, and could maybe try searching the channel for help. lots of people get stuck here but theyre usually missing a step

people have been having recurring issues with dailies since they were added. the only suggested fixes i've seen are putting the items in and back out of storage or logging out and back in as i said.

for some reason it only seems to affect certain people. i saw one person theorise it was because they server synced with a friend in a different server region

after about 15 days of watering you will get an interact prompt to loot a seed. if you can still water the tree it isn't fully grown. (sometimes there's a day where you can't water it, but it'll ask for water again the next day)

Things that increase the chance of making starred food are: Using starred ingredients (check the Use Quality Ingredients box), don't make mistakes, and working quickly. It's never 100%, though.

Nothing other than keep trying, I'm afraid. The Enchanted Pupfish shares the same bait and active time as the common Alligator Gar and the Beluga Sturgeon.

The romance page of the wiki says there's no repercussions for romancing multiple people at once "except maybe some negative dialogue". Can anyone elaborate on that? Am I gonna break my own heart when I get that negative dialogue? 😂

A couple of the NPCs may randomly comment when they see you wearing another NPC's pin. I think the most dramatic one is Jel's where he says ||I see your heart belongs to another. May I ask whose pin that is...no, don't tell me. I actually don't want to know.||

That happens with the Elderwood Idol. It will catch up when you craft it to Tier 4, which would be the next step in the quest anyway.

Hey guys, since yesterday my dalies stopped working. I collect the things needed. but then when i try to claim it will not let me.. Yesterday i needed to catch two fish, then when i caught one it would not let me collect the reward, then when i caught the second fish i needed it would allow me to claim both dailies.

Now today i need to collect 10 Heartwood and a Mossyfin.. So i collected both and now it won't allow me to collect the daliy.. even tried relogging and putting it my chests and taking it out again.

you can try rerolling as well but most people report that doesn't work. other than continuing to try putting the items back into and out of your storage, and logging out again (wait a few mins before logging back in) the only other thing you can do is file a support ticket

welp without knowing why she visited before it's impossible to say if the quest should have started then or if she was just visiting for some other reason. i can only suggest waiting some more or filing a support ticket but you're gonna be waiting weeks for a response probably.

Hello, I am a Japanese player.
I am using a translation tool, so please excuse me if my English expressions are strange.

I am experiencing a critical, game-breaking bug in the main quest "A Catalyzing Caper" inside the Temple of the Flames.

The Problem:
During the quest, I received the Unlit Torch (Quest Item/Special Inventory) from Sifuu and used the braziers to light it. After successfully opening the door to the final Mural Room, the Lit Torch disappeared from my Special Inventory.

I got a replacement Unlit Torch from Sifuu, but now all the braziers (fire sources) in the entire Temple are permanently extinguished and inactive. I cannot light the torch to proceed with the quest.

My Environment and Details:

• Platform: PS5
• Quest Progress: I had already accessed and lit the braziers in all three Maze Rooms successfully before the bug occurred.
• Possible Cause: I quit the game after exiting the ruins once. When I logged back in hours later, I was outside the temple, and the Lit Torch was gone.
• Current Blocker: I cannot interact with or light the final brazier required to complete the puzzle.
• (Note: My regular inventory is currently overflowing, but the Torch is a Special Quest Item, which is not full.)

Has anyone found a solution or a workaround for this specific bug? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Did you place them on builder's blocks, by any chance? The blocks generally don't like interactable objects being placed on them. They should be by the gate to Kilima Valley.

If you buy the founders pack or you finish the Nuture of Shadows three part questline( in elderwoods) you unlock the courier ability which will allow your pet to send 4 boxes of items from your inventory home.

If you dont do the questline or buy the founders packs the pets dont have any function

Teleporting home via map or using Tamalas hearth potion are the for sure way to get out(if youve gotten this before put in a request for it).

Logging out and logging back in has worked for a very few and syncing to a friend's server has not worked.

If you have Adventure on the Horizon, Prismbeard Lost Treasure, or True Treasure- auni and Naio are location locked to those quests and will be wherever you left off.

If he shows on the compass but shows he's far away you most likely have Adventure on the Horizon and he'll be at the cave in D8 in elderwood

Are they together? If so double check you dont have the three mentioned quests in your quest log. If you dont have Adventure on the Horizon, True Treasure, or Prismbeard Lost Treasure and Auni and Naio dont leave Elderwood at all(please note they do go to Elderwood as part of their schedule) then Support would be the way to go

I'm on PlayStation; it seems like I can only join a friend's server if they are at their housing plot but if they are in Kilima, Bahari, or Elderwoods the button to join them is gone. Does that mean we are in the same server?

if you are on the same map, like kilima or bahari or elderwood, and it doesn't have the option to switch servers you might already be on the same server. but you can party up, and the game will always put you (or try) on the same server and you'll be able to see where they are

You can’t, I’m afraid. The cottage is like a pre-built Mr. Potato Head. Once you pick it up, it breaks apart into its component parts. The part should be in your housing storage.

I just learned about “charging” flow trees yesterday. Apparently the XP gained is per hit. So you hit the tree as many times as you want, but not chop it down.

Is it a known issue for things placed on builder blocks to disappear?

Ive had 2 wooden chests and 2 prep tables dissappear.

yes this is normal
restarting the game should force the items to pop to the front of your lot to pick them up

you cant place chests and items like that on the builders items when they're inside otherwise this happens
[the builder items have to be anchored to the grass/ground outside]

if they dont show up at the front of your lot you can keep reloading to try and force it

if you have the quests Adventure on the Horizon, Prismbeard's Treasure or The True Treasure active, then auni and nai'o will only be in the locations for those quests - they will be somewhere near your current objective in that questline

level doesn't matter. it's a lot rarer than its Uncommon rarity suggests, best method is to do a honey lure at maji's hollow at 3am but it's not guaranteed to get any to spawn so you may need to do multiple lures

My gf and I play on Switch Lite's and one or both of us end up getting stuck/unable to move and the food ends up half finished/burning, using Unstuck just shoves us outside but we stay basically T-posed and have to restart the game to fix it

Any suggestions/workarounds or if there are specific things to avoid while trying to co-op cook I appreciate 🤍

Turn off Cinematic Cooking in Settings, wear simple clothing, plug the Switches into power, hold a tool while cooking (weird, but it reduces crashing). You may have to set up a cooking plot that's minimally decorated. The Switch Lite is underpowered.

sadly i think it’s a switch issue it self (palia is a bit wonky on it). if you end up on a plot that’s pretty decorated (idk what the limit is) you start to lagout/crash. also being too close too ppl i read or if there’s a lot of decor like lamps around the station

I’ve had this problem on the switch as well and I’ve tried everything suggested but yesterday and today I swapped to my hotspot on my phone and it hasn’t crashed once. Which is odd because I have high speed internet so not sure why the hotspot made a difference

she should have an additional house slot (you get a free one or you can also buy them with gold) and if you need just toss the party over there if your hosting for a lot of ppl or just yourselves then can decorate it until it starts to get that laggy/crash then reduce if need

The host of a cooking party doesn't need to be the starter (has the recipe and the starting ingredients). So you can still host as long as you have the required cooking stations. But have her start the recipe.

They have a grow cycle per game day, they will grow one stage per day, if you have boosters it will help. If you're offline,no matter how long,it will be treated as one in game day

I have just returned to playing Palia after getting stuck on the 'It takes a village quest'. I think I accidentally sold/cooked my ancient cloudminnows. I do remember fishing them. When I visit the ponds now, they are empty. It was already so annoying to find them and after not being able to get them, I quit. I do love the elderwoods now, and I want to continue, so I made a ticket for the issue. Is there any way to finish the quest without Palia support helping out?

Nope, all romances are independent of other NPCs. Sometimes it takes a bit for the quests to come through. As long as you've done quest 1 (green check mark over the quest) then it'll come, just needs a bit of time

● apple recipes may be fixed- patch notes only acknowledged the star apples so we will need to see in game
● curtain issue fixed
● hair bandit has been caught you'll no longer lose your hair while talking to a NPC
●chat censoring words that didnt need to be censored
● No more drowning the water levels have been restored!
●Piksii Event will progress as normal even if you do not arrive before hand.

● Switch Players crashing after trying to Fast Travel
● Unable to place wallpaper on all aspects on the outside or inside on the home
● placing ceilings will still flicker between invalid and valid placement
● Farmhouse decor items still being difficult to move
● Requests not displaying from Community, Friends, and Party
● Return home button during Home Tours will sometimes just send you to your plot and not actually end the home tours. (Player workaround just leave the plot through Bahari exit and you'll get out of it)

Try resyncing date and time. Close game resync it then reopen game. If it still does not come back or appear in inventory then file a support ticket
