Honestly can I make an innocent suggestion to Xbox players without seeming like I'm judging? See what the cheapest gaming laptop is and what you can afford and work towards getting that so you can use Steam IF you're able to do that in times like this I mean. Just so you can have a backup plan. I'm only making a suggestion to try and help because it seems like you guys run into a lot of problems with this game and I've only been playing since January 🙁 and I would have sent this earlier but the timer lol

Got horse, fed flowers, Hassian said it would let me ride. Can equip it from collections tab but no horse shows up. Any idea how to really get horse for real?

I did but it didnt help. All the other buttons etc work like before, just the other joystick doesn't work for moving the character anymore. And cannot change it in game controller settings either. Reseted also settings but no change..

Honestly, for Xbox player mental health, I would assume the estimate is going to be a few hours and try to find an alternative for the time being. I also don't have the option to play rn, but sitting in the chat and crashing out is not the best for anyone.

Hi folks,

For those who equip a horse and can't mount it (after unlocking), here are some work arounds.

Work Around 1:

  1. Open collections
  2. Unequip your mount
  3. Close menu - you should be able to ride

Work Around 2:

  1. Clear space in your ranch
  2. Restore your new horse from retirement
  3. Age it up from baby
  4. Then equip

No. Thats not what i'm talking about at all. I didn't say exp, I am talking about Kilima coins. you only get 100 for the celebration path. that's not enough for even two items in the Town Hall from previous bundles, and I've already done the entire daily log ins.
It shouldn't be 10 coins if the pricing is going to be like this, it penalizes players that weren't there for those bundles.

Friendly reminder this is a free to play game. Xbox typically has longer updates due to backend requirements, both within Palia and with much larger games. There have been updates that the characters aren't lost and the dev team is really good about ensuring coins and such aren't lost either. Totally get it and I want to play as well, but they are doing their best to ensure we dont just get in and then dashboarded which imo would be worse majicare

I’m actively avoiding sending in tickets right now for issues because the update JUST dropped. I promise you guys will be okay, I understand it’s frustrating and even disappointing but the devs are actively working on you guys’ biggest complaints plus everyone else’s small issues. This big of an update on a free game we can expect some mishaps and glitches. Go pet your animals, eat a little snack and watch some Palia YouTube if you want. S6 knows their game works, and Xbox has a responsibility to properly host the game. its a 2 party transaction. Don't you think its odd the game works for literally everyone else? this is just my guess, but for people with a ranch full of 30 animals, it seems that the free horse completely bugs and you do not receive it. this means you cant ride your horse. i made space, but it never gave that free grown horse. i guess i'm stuck waiting for the horse to grow so i can mount. for anyone else with this problem. this may be why

Sad about the horses. The pheonixfire only gets 2 cosmetic traits including the legendary one.... so I ended up wasting cookies of the day on it expecting it to have 4 total cosmetics including the legendary one since I bought the special bundle. And then I used my reroll cookies only to find out it will replace the legendary.... it never did that on my goobi. I feel scammed.. I was going to buy the big Highlands bundle but now I am not. I submitted a ticket but its update day so I will probably never get a reply..

The need for immediate gratification is absolutely astonishing. I feel like I'm in a room with my kids and they're having a meltdown.
They warned everyone about bugs, we know what Xbox rollouts look like.... Give them a moment to address concerns. There are thousands of players that are all sending tickets right now....

ATTENTION: Reports are coming in that the Jaakcats have stolen the ground from underneath some people's feet! To steal the ground back you must follow these directions from Lacie VERY carefully and then you must leave a tinfish sub by the dragon shrine, thank you

To fix the ground graphic checkerboard issue on Steam:

  • Right Click Palia
  • Go to properties
  • Under general there is a launch option
  • Remove -d3d11

This will play the game on DirectX 12 and should resolve the floor texture issue.

For those with the checkerboard issue:
OK it took me an hour or longer to fix it but I have fixed it! I cleared out temporary cache in my storage, I updated my NVIDIA driver, and I verified the integrity of my steam files. One of them worked and I don't know or care which one, but it's pretty now! (probably the graphics driver)

One thing to be upset and disappointed, another to be rude and make negative comments about the devs. It's a free game, this could easily cost money but they opt to not charge users. To be fair, PC was the original platform. Xbox and PS5 were last. It would make sense that since most computers are Microsoft, that Xbox would be fine, too, but try to Have some patience and grace. Complaining and getting mad at the devs is not going to make anything go quicker.

Dogging on people upset and experiencing FOMO is counter productive though. They are already getting flak for being upset by others. This did not come across kind whatsoever and feels very unnecessary. I think it's okay to let people "complain" when they're only asking if there's an ETA or if they missed if it's back up or not. i am so sorry to the xbox players, i understand the inconvenience but at the same time... the devs are working on it while all of us are typing. they can't exactly snap their fingers and fix it... technology is difficult u guys :(( and yeah some ppl don't have money for other games or they have other problems and that is very understandable! but it is not the devs' responsibility to cater to every single individual's needs here... they're doing all they can guys. it's the biggest update, it's all new for players, the servers are bursting, + they have to monitor through differ platforms. just wait a little more and before you know it the game is back on xbox!!

As a fellow Xbox player I'm just watching something to pass time. Y'all gotta understand this is a HUGE update and so things can absolutely go wrong. Give the Devs some time because they are working on a fix for xbox. If you didn't know to not take off on a patch day please use that knowledge in the future. Best to take off a couple days to a week after once things are known to be running smoothly.
