What is considered rare ores? I think i accidentally mined one today just before a group of others came because i was wandering around the area. I can see people were calling stuff on the chat but i wasn’t paying attention to the chat as i was busy hunting for chappas. It was a silver ore. Is it silver and gold only not iron and copper?

Rare ores are silver (Kilima Valley), gold (Bahari Bay and the Royal Highlands), platinum (Elderwood). The game treats large copper, iron, and palium (probably jadium too) as rare.

If you were the first to break the node, then it will stay for everyone else for a few minutes before it despawns.

When I come across a rare ore, rare forageable, flow tree grove, bloom, rummage pile. I'll tap it, call it out, and flare it (unless I just used a flare).

You can do both or either, i sometimes just call out if i dont have flares, I sometimes just flare

You didn't do anything wrong. Someone else probably called it out. If they broke it then the timer started already and you can't influence that.

Everything but flow trees stay around for a few mins for the next people, so flow trees people usually wait for someone to come help them, groves are a community activity tho where everyone comes to the grove and waits till 3 am to cut

Make sure you have the Fabric Loom - Recipe can be purchased from the Furniture Guild Shop. Once you've reached Furniture Making level 2, talk to Tish and access the Guild Shop for the recipe!

• Leather is made from 1x Sernuk Hide - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 100 Gold.
• Fabric is made from 2x Cotton - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 50 Gold.
• Silk is made from 5x Silk Thread - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 6 for 1,500 Gold.
• Muskin is made from 1x Any Mushroom - Recipe unlocked by foraging mushrooms in Elderwood.

Or you can even buy the leather/fabric/silk directly from Tish's store! (Look for the cash register)

mmk for what to sell vs keep, if you can get it within 5 minutes of effort its fine to sell, the rarer stuff thatll take you forever to get when you need it is gonna be the stuff you wanna keep. for how to make money. cakeparties are always an option theres a whole plethora of them to choose from thatre beginner friendly, ill drop the command here after this so you can read about em. as for pointers, finish your temple, pay attention to purple quests side quests can usually wait till you're bored to do em. and take it easy, the quests arent going anywhere, you have no time limit in most things and can move at your own pace

you can catch any bug with the normal smokebombs, you dont really need the fancy ones. and dont just pelt em, theres a stun timer, throwing more bombs during the stun sequence wont make it more likely to fall itll just waste your bombs, once the stun is over and it starts moving again bonk it again

bug parties would be extremely helpful for you, get into a group of 4 saves ammo and gets you party bonus exp for collecting the green glowy ones

absolutely there is #1445866314949202012 now have an accessibillity tag for them so they list all the rules of the party, the easy ones are no outfits with animations,, no nametags and no pets

youd just turn that off in your collections tab and swap outfits if the one you have on doesnt work with them, bug bug parties are actually really chaotic and super laid back for the most part

i know it SOUNDs like those two dont go together, but they do, hit whatever bug you want, stay as long as you like for it, and run around looking for things to bomb

youll make it in worm farms and glowworm farms, savory dishes will make one sweet dishes will make the other. quality up and harvest boost is what you'll get out of it, i forget which one does which

also you might be able to make a type of fert at your crafting table if i remember right

you need to do several quests in elderwoods that will slowly help u unlock the ability to gather/kill things that are surrounded with that black goo

no you don’t just make sure to have your glider quest “like a bird” done and you can head to the area and pick it up!

take exit outside back plot, take left and head to gate with purple flowers at it (that’s elderwoods).

then go to left side of map to the der mer docks by the water, and there’s a small gate on the left side of the travel board there that takes you to highlands

!glider To get the glider you have to complete the quest Like a Bird. You get it after completing the tutorial quests. To improve your tools, you have to get the matching skill to certain levels (usually 3, 6, and 9) to unlock the recipes.

If you can't find your glider after completing the quest, check your Storage Chests!

How to Use
Tap the jump button while falling to glide. Your Glider must be equipped to the Accessories bar in the Inventory menu.

I keep hearing bundles everywhere. What are they?

There are two kinds of bundles. They both describe sets of items that you donate to in order to earn rewards. One set consists of the Night Sky Temple bundles that you unlock when solving each of the 4 elemental temples. The other set consists of the bulletin board bundles found in the center of Kilima Village. Those change with every patch. To unlock those, you have to complete a quest that Kenli gives you.

Yes, you can buy upgraded storage recipes from Tish's store (the one in the furniture store).

Yes, the Night Sky Temple bundles are lifetime achievements, so you can submit items all at once or 1 at a time. The Bulletin Board bundles end when the patch ends, usually once a month. But you will get back the items you submitted to incomplete bundles.

Unfortunately it's just quite rare. I recommend trying in Zeki's Underground, as you can usually get the boost from other players, and that makes it slightly less time consuming.

There's a party boost you get when you're grouped up. You have the chance to get double drops, and as long as you're within 30 meters of your party members, any bug they down, tree they cut, rock they mine, or animal they kill, you can get the loot from, too! Also, exp gained when in a party counts towards a series of achievements which gives you some rare furniture!

Not necessarily, there are communities, which give you access to a cross-server community chat, and the ability to organize parties and whatnot together!

Hi, i recently heard about this game and thought it was interesting however I was told that the game is really laggy and glitchy on an OLED switch which is what ive got.
After multiple weeks of being sad and a lot of research on it, ive decided to download it and just see what its like.
I downloaded it which took over an hour but after removing games I dont play it seemed to go faster.
I got 5ish mins into the game and then realized what the time was and will play it again tomorrow

Make sure the game is stored internally, not on your SD Card, and try and play docked whenever you can, both of those will cut down the lag significantly.

The switch throttles the GPU significantly when it's not docked.

you can put them really close together, but youll get a visual glitch of them being hollow if you do, also, you might have issue chopping them down, the bags landing on the tree next to it. so abit of space is reccomended, but not mandatory

!cakeparty Cooking parties are like assembly lines for making meals. The cooks gather at thehost's Housing Plot, sometimes a specially designed cooking plot. Every cook has a role and a cooking station. Most roles will require you to have an ingredient x the number of meals planned. Unless you are the starter role, you do not need the recipe. Be prepared to cook for about an hour.

It depends on your storage tier. I have mostly iron chests, so I keep around 50 of the ogopuu scales and skin. If you have lesser storage, keep fewer. Prioritize keeping the starred scales, since those are harder to get.

It said to weed before watering and i did that but when i watered the water level thing didn’t move. Is that why people call out bloom in chat? What do i do to help?

i don't know what happened there but you should have been able to water any sprout as long as it didn't have a weed on it and you had water in your watering can. there isn't any other requirement to help

if you're below level 2, would suggest that you go to the fishermans lagoon where einar is, do a callout and fish. i had someone come fish with me after doing a callout, and i managed to level up to four and upgrade my makeshift rod. 🙂

the bobber needs to stay within the brackets - as long as they are green, you can reel it in.

if they turn red, let go and make sure the bobber continues to stay in the brackets. once you level up, upgrade your rod.

i think after a certain level, you can get fisherman's brew which will help increase the bracket size.

you cast out and wait for three bounces on your bobber. usually at the third, a fish will jump out and you'll hear some sound effects. you start to reel in (on PC, it's the left click hold on the mouse). you'll see the brackets then.

Hmm, I haven’t done a lot of plot tours on switch so I’m not sure if it still happens. Also, I have a switch 2, and it’s supposed to perform better than the regular switch.

ive personally never experienced that, if the tiles are tilled and you "use" the seeds before planting them it shouldnt be any kind of issue

The tiles are tilled. I use the seeds, it shows the plant in the tile, I press the button (A on the Xbox controller hooked up to my pc) and… nothing happens, like, at least 70% of the time. Sometimes it works. But usually not.

you only need a glider to get the mount because you need the ranch. the pet you can either premium shop buy one or theres a free one you can get once you get into elderwood

you might get lost on your way to get the horsie quest because it means you gotta go through elderwood to de merr docks, theres a gate behind the stable board on the dock once you run through the gate the quest for the horse automatically starts

You may have to finish the tutorial quests before Kenli the mayor shows up on your Housing plot to give you the quest to unlock the bulletin board. The board in the center of the village has a place to discover all of the villagers’ weekly wants.

You used to have to find each villager every RL day and ask them for their weekly wants which could be pretty time consuming as it would only reveal a couple at a time, but they decided to move it to the bulletin board for ease of convenience

First, you have to be building home lines (Alchemist, Estate, or Ancient Human) rooms. Build your first floor. Then build the room you want for your second floor, place it on the ground, then move it to the second floor.

once you get to level 3 hodari will send you a letter, that you can get a standard pick, this will mine iron, if you need the smelter recipe for iron ingots, you also get that from hodari
