Babies would be a bit too complicated for a game like this. It’s not like Stardew where they can just be a pixel character it has to be a whole 3d model that grows, matures and talks. I don’t think it can happen. Also what race are the babies gonna be even? Human? Majiri? Half human half majiri? Can we even reproduce with majiri?

i ruined a food xD but its ok, in sims there is some usefullness because they turn into their own 'npc' by itself,but in most games they just stay there,without use or meaning. In Harvest Moon A Worderfull life you have a baby because you grow older and they became your new character,but the baby by itself is meaningless.

you can contact support and ask for a name change. i had to almost immediattly because of the confusion on how names worked. they fixed everything with the account name change and the character name change.. everything pretty much same day.. they allow a name change once every 6 months

yeah. Jel level 4 in friendhip he basically talks to you about his creative process and ocasionally asks your input, but for Tish you're her beffie, and for Eshe she trusted you with what happened in her past but still wont ask your input... etc.

Romance wise, Jel is just comfortable telling you he loves you but the most daring thing he will do is tell you when he had a bad night or like... lightly brush your clothes. My poor victorian maiden (?)

marriage can get quite stale. i like the idea of being famous and super besties with the world. moreso than having 100 marriages at once.. or having to juggle them between each character assuming you could only have 1 at a time.

You can purchase Palium Bars from Hodari once you unlock level 10 mining, but you have to complete Weekly Challenges to earn skill guild coins. You can earn up to 100 skill guild coins a week if you complete said weekly challenges, and each palium bar costs 10 medal coins. It's quite costly to do it this way, so it's best to mine as much as you can and make the bars yourself.

Every time you level up, you earn Renown (which can be used towards expanding home property, XP, and Focus) as well as skill guild coins, (which can be used to buy special guild items). You also get displayable trophies after a set of levels earned. There are also rewarding "buffs" or "boosts" that come with also having reached certain skill levels, such as being able to only grow/harvest starred produce and so on. Yes, party invites and syncing with other servers (especially if you're both in different regions) have been fairly unstable for sometime. I believe devs are aware of the issue. Hopefully we get a fix soon (likely in the new year).

Yes, I believe the workaround is to simply close your crafting bench with having left the desired recipe selected. And then reopen your crafting bench and it should show you the correct set of items needed. If that doesn't work, try relogging.

Honey Lures also yield a higher chance of epics I think when you have a group of people helping you take down the common/uncommon bugs that spawn, since too many bugs spawn at once for you to possibly knock them all down before the lure runs out. I've noticed that it's much more successful in groups than by yourself.

I believe it's highly recommended to take down the common/uncommon ones (or spook them away if you can) so that the epics have a chance at spawning, otherwise the blue common butterflies for example will just float there forever in place of what could possibly be an epic's chance to show if that makes sense.

I would also recommend having a Buzzy Jar activated while the Honey Lure is going so that in the mess of all the many spawned bugs, you have a chance at finding the epic among them (if it's spawned). And also a good reason why lures in a group is ideal so others can help take down the common/uncommon ones as you look out for epics.

I just got yelled at again for mining the same node as someone else. They accused me of loot stealing. People need to realize that it doesn't split the loot. That we all get the same amount. It doesn't matter if 1 person is mining or multiple. If that node was going to give 5 we would all get 5.

I saw a flow grove untouched at 6pm game time yesterday, which is such a change from even a fortnight ago

I often find two groves now, because the previous day's grove went untouched except for maybe the smallest trees.

I think there might be a couple of factors in play:

1. lots of new players who can't chop flow yet

2. lots of new players who don't speak English

3. lots of players busy at the wind temple

Some recipe also require 2 cooking stoves, or counters

You can solo cook everything. You don't have to cook with friends

On switch I noticed while cooking with my friends might be more buggy though. She couldn't handle the frying pan for example. Or couldn't figure out how to.

to not lose ur glow worms u can just check out what fish comes up, if it's not what u want, let it go back down then reel in ur line to save ur worm. If it is what u want, dw about missing it if it goes back down, the same one will keep coming back up over n over until u catch it or lose it. To get a new fish on ur hook u just recast n repeat.

Jumping on the discussion about no replies in chat when asking for help with flow groves, and trees. I also noticed that as I ran around, I saw NO ONE! So I looked and there was only 11 people listed on the server. It felt very lonely. I ran around Bahari for two hours, and there was some chat not in English, no response to my calling out palium or flow trees, and no call outs for groves. And this only started for me when Switch happened. Coincidence?

You can cut down medium trees and small on your own with the flow axe. But the large ones do require at least 1 more person.

I think Bardu is the one that sells the seed maker recipes. You place veggies in it and it will make seeds.

Total storge space is 10k +300 locked storage

You need to buy at least 1 recipe from her store in G option not the shop. And then as you craft at the crafting bench you will unlock the rest.

I think buying 1 recipe from each furniture set is necessary, but as you craft those first pieces, your crafting bench will unlock the rest, one by one as your craft more furniture

I believe you will only get the item, no recipe to make it yourself, BUT all the furniture in Tish's shop is craft able by buying 1 recipe from each furniture collection, and unlocking the rest

You have inspirations while crafting homestead stuff that lets you select other recipes. This applies to all types of furniture (except recipes granted by quests) afaik
