For game designers, the first hours of gameplay are crucial. Since it gives the cleanest gameplay of a new player. As it is a beta, it is usually better to have people find things out themselves. So sharing progress and such could be negative to find out how players would normally play the game.

I agree, this is information that would be better for the project, if it went unshared. Having said that, we're in the blockchain testing phase - and that is public, so 🤷 to some degree.

Also, it's important to understand, always, that these are all games under development. If you were testing in a limited time capacity, would you rather make it take forever for events to happen, or would you tweak it to be much more likely for events to happen - work out the issues and then come back and change the event frequencies down before the real game is launched?

To Garfs point I disagree. The game should be tested in the state it is intended to be released in (or as close as possible to). Getting spawn rates right is absolutely essential. Too slow a progression and people will stop playing out of frustration. Too fast and illuvium potentially misses out on revenue and cheapens the whole experience of capturing those rare illuvials.

You need to claim staking rewards on the staking page. And you decide if it's ILV or sILV2

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

So first there is the Loyalty airdrop (50k ILV) which is already set in stone. Snapshot was taken on April 14th as a record of every wallet that has participated in the ecosystem.

Then there is the Testnet Beta airdrop (20k ILV) which is registered for using IMX Passport. 10k users will get into this one on the 30th of April. Some of these users are selected based on previous activity and some are randomly selected from individual content creator's referal links. If you don't get in the first 10k users for PB4 Testnet, the Open Beta Testnet opens to everyone after about May 28.

Then after some more testing, there is Open Beta Mainnet, which everyone can play and offers the remaining 180k ILV in airdrops based on your interaction with the ecosystem. This one is where your illuvials and armor etc are actual NFTs on the main blockchain. The real deal. It’s the game launch.

5. you can "add funds" on the sandbox.illuvium site.
6. Deposit from the wallet that has your sepolia ETH.

When I want to login to the Beta 3 through Epic, I have to use Email + pw
-> Well I didn't have a pw, so I reset it through my email
--> that in turn created a whole new account, which doesn't have my Ranger name on it, so it seems those two accounts are under the same email (since IMX is email bound), but they are two sepparate account

Hello, all! I am trying to figure out if I got accepted for PB4 - it shows I am already registered, does that mean I'm in or do we not know yet? When I go to the activity/profile or other pages on the testnet page (where it says 'Authentication Required') I put my password in & it says incorrect. I now try to click on it and it's down. Anyone know if that password that we enter is the same one we enter for our acccount login?

I'm going crazy. Why can't such a serious bug be fixed as soon as possible? The countdown ends and the battle doesn't start. The game seems to be stuck. After finally starting, all my actions in the preparation phase are recalled. Did you know that you can only save three Ascension Tokens? ?Review all I only have 3 Ascension Tokens to use in the next round. I encounter several battles every day and report back every time. After the 0.3.6 update from 3, it has not been repaired at all for a month. Why not fix it as soon as possible?

After registering for testnet Beta 4 you’ll have to wait while looking for an email sent from [e-mail] that contains a key/code. The key/code will need to be copy and pasted into the epic game launcher to redeem. These emails will be sent out gradually over several days. Access is currently limited to a total of 20,000 spots. Links are scams. Don’t click links from emails. It’s possible that not everyone will get access until May 28.
