You’re “technically” right: T2 land is probably the most undervalued land (withexceptions of course) atm.. HOWEVER, please keep in mind that the reason that T1 land is more “expensive” (ESPECIALLY LAND WITH ALL 3 ELEMENTS)is for the following:
The first beta (or alpha they call it) is mainly focused around blue prints since they will be kept by land owners. Fuel is a by product of the game but not as important because it’ll be erased before the main open beta (at which point T2 will be very ver very much in demand).

For T2 with the 33% boost - the output for elements = 8.. if you buy 3 T1s our element output is only 9 right? Well yes BUT, you have 3X chance of scanning for a blue print (WHICH you get to keep) since you have 3X the land.

People are currently optimizing for land volume - not so much fuel since that’ll matter more at a later date.

Another reason T1s (again especially with all 3 elements) are in demand is because of Lower Cost of entry.. it’s easier to grab a land for 1k than for 2.5k right? so if you buy 2 T1s you’re getting 2x chance for scanning a blue print at a lower overall price..

Just some additional Analysis for you and reason for why the market is pricing T1s a bit higher atm 😇

True now, True in the future, if what Kieran said before the land sale about T5 not having any advantages vs a T1 when it comes to scanning, people will keep focusing more on these even if it means 30% less fuel output

T1 at the end give you what is likely to be one of the best revenue streams in any game, skins

Plus, mega cities will be a huge thing, and so the more land you can cover, the more likelihood you will sell at a higher price to someone trying to build one of these MC

I’m personally keen on having a good 3/1 of T1 to T2 but again I’ll be focusing mainly on the builder game and once they are optimized it’ll be mostly maintenance and such. I think that split will give me not only a greater land mass but also a fair amount of fuel output 🙂

Yes youre right for the blueprint. All land no matter the tier have a equal chance of scanning. So 3xT1 is better than 1xT2. But we also know that you'll be required element to do the scanning. So T2 should be able to do more scanning than a T1 since T1 produce less elements.

The big question will be is 3xT1 able to do more scanning than 1xT2. Probably but not 3 times more.

I'm still not convinced of the value of blueprint though. For what I understand, most of them will not be exclusive meaning that many people can find the same blueprint. If youre lucky enough to find a unique one its awesome but most of us will have the same blueprint.

don’t hate me I don’t see it serving its intended purpose which is for people to actually use it as pfps and customizing. They’re hoping even the people outside the Illuvium bubble will adopt these and they’ll take off like some of these free-to-mint and other obscure pfp projects did.

But successful projects before the bear market offered rarity, exclusivity, and “roadmaps” for “utility” which we knew were mostly bs but we liked to speculate.. so some of these worked out, most didn’t.
Now illuvitars don’t actually offer any of those - no rarities per se, not really exclusive because they want to include everyone - yea it’s gen 1 but it’s unlimited sooo grain of salt.,, and really no utility - yes I saw the physicals and all that but come on we all know what I’m talking about - Mystery.. that’s what gets people excited (hold x and you’ll be rewarded with Y which one one knows what Y is lol - creates speculation and excitement and fun)

In the bear market - free to mint became popular project because they offered nothing but a community of loud degens! The louder the community the more people wanted to join.. it was exclusive to hardcore and wannabe hardcore degens who just wanted to show everyone that they don’t need shit. Illuvitars are not punk! We’re not degens buying to flip off the world. So they don’t fit into that model either.

I always was under the impression that ILV-0 was coming right after illuvitars. At this point if PB2 comes first I'm OK with that. Right now we are thirsty for something new. I hope the council and team can formulate a public time-line with estimated dates. SOON Is not an estimate. Beginning of Q1 is. Deadlines are missed all the time in the gaming industry which is fine however it's important for the team and community to have goals to work towards and be accountable too.

just a (personal) thought recently, I feel like Illuvium is doing the same mistake as Axie Infinity in that they pay less attention their heavy spenders (land owners)
there are basically two user base on both projects, the many little spenders vs. the few big spenders, and they focus too much to those that will probably spend less to nothing to play the game
if you are a sane business person, you will (and have to), prioritise clients that gives you profit, not the other way around, otherwise, you'll be bankrupt even before you launch

Many many AAA games take several years to develop. For the best quality experience its essential that they nail IZ. Better to take longer than to cut corners. Fortnite took 6 years to develop for reference.

You are a Ranger so you should have got PB1 with the last wave, given you registered for beta. If you are not in it means that you have been overlooked which sometimes happen and it did happen to me too. When i found out all Rangers get in i spoke with Fraggy and Rich and received access 2 days later. Those people really are helpful when you act decently. Now regarding the delays, no one is happy about them, especially investors who lost a lot of money (most of us) but hating on the team doesn't help. They took on too much they can chew but they are doing everything they can to put the game in our hands asap. If you follow those people on social media you can see they are perfectionists and they want to release a piece of art. And art takes time.

Jesus, everyone try looking at this in the context of all crypto games, what other project is developing something as dope and professional as this without similar delays? The playable beta is the cleanest, most fun crypto game I've seen (other than maybe sandbox, tho ILV has more potential for competitive play). Bashing the team for making delays or not wanting to lock in hard dates is not going to help anything, only deter new comers from the project.

Games definitely go through delays and I was 100% expecting that since last year, I think the frustration at least on my part was that land sale happened and it went amazing and I was very excited and the can kept getting kicked 4 week, 8 weeks and now TBA. its frustrating after spending all that money...but fraggy did indicate i may be eligible for the survival beta which is great if I get in.

Also does anyone know how much runway the team has? interms of cash sustaining them before launch?

Yeah I can definitely understand the frustration. Having some game development experience myself, I guess I just unconsciously always take every date with a big grain of salt and always expect things to get delayed, so I think that's why I'm not frustrated.

It might be your right but we’re not even past their initial time line given and we have been talking about the same thing for 3 days if not longer. With all due respect I think that’s enough lol. We all want to play the game but technically the game is not what we purchased we purchased land which we received in our wallets as we purchased them. The rest of the added stuff to the game doesn’t matter except blue prints which they have said there will be enough time during the beta to get all blueprints that were allowed for that time frame. So by complaining all we’re doing is putting a bad name on the team for no reason pushing new investors out. The team has given everything we have paid for when we paid for it the rest is a work in progress which they have been giving updates on. The game was never an alpha it was a V1.0 which could mean what ever the team wants it to mean. And as was stated betas in recent times are not bugged out games they are finished games that need a little tweaking or add-ons it’s just called a beta to give the team a buffer if there are bugs. Be patient and believe in the process but stop complaining because its not going to speed it up just push new people away.

Just heared latley, there are just a few blueprints coming for ilz Alpha, and we will have time to catch Thema all.
Now... Is it really worthy getting Thema if every landowner will have Thema when release starts? Or is it just an advantage for the megacities/ t4 landplots, which will be able to Start skin producing earlier than t1 owners, due to the faster buildingtime, because of more ress.
So until t1 owners get to producing the skins, markets already flooded.
