If your goal is to make money with $0 investment I'm not sure you will be able to do it with the MMO
If you're willing to invest a little bit you may be able to make money with the R2E depending on whether or not they allow players to have a positive expected value

I can't tell but the idea is that you should be able to make money reliably if you play the marketplace or if the R2E has enough skill expression to compensate for the entry fee
You could also make money by playing tournaments or with leaderboard rewards if you're good enough and your collection is good too

Well we already had a partnership with Samsung and we’re working on Nvidia Cloud gaming a while back, but yeah some of these things have been or are being worked on actively. I’d say it’s unlikely but not impossible for cross ip integrations in game just due to lore. But maybe for other Illuvium games? Possibly? And yeah Arena esports is still an ongoing thing to achieve imo. And maybe will get there. And I’d love to partner with Nintendo or Ubisoft surely. Not always as easy done.

I can think of 2 good reasons;

• Burn supply on marketplace
• Generate revenue

I aint no mathimatical genius.. but was thinking something along the lines ($ --> Fuel);

Illuvials need to be lvl 30 to fuse. When they fuse, the stage 2 created is automatically LVL 15

Personally, It sucks not having the ability to strategically purchase on the marketplace to fuse into a decent illuvial to help me win games in arena - Early to mid game, you can survive pretty well with decent stat stage 2 units + when it comes in to late game, unless you have a real strong stated stage 3 its reeeeally tough to win.
As a player, i would rather strategically make purchases for fuse for a better chance to win than try my luck on drone Gacha

Land holders having the ability to fuse for free would be a sick added perk to add value to land - use the fuel gathered to help generate power the fusion reactor

Well, it may be a bit high but it is not for new players. They are T5S3, the top Illuvials and you should only fuse when the result may be worth it. If not, it is your fault. It also happened to me with a Titanor fuse. I hoped it would be around 70 (or higher) but because of one of the Goliant used it went down to 46. I should have waited to have a better 3rd Goliant to fuse. No more 😅

It’s speculative whether or not the fusion cost is too high until the ow/illuvial economy is established or demand is there. Like clearly yes, right now with no access to overworld, low demand on any tier/stage illuvial, and no access to mmo it is “too high.”

When the game gets a playerbase and illuvial demand is present, we will see if it is too high/low or correctly priced. Depending on price and availability of stage 3 and the fusing arbitrage opportunities of lower tier.

I feel that it’s better to have a higher fusion price before the player-base arrives that can be adjusted down vs a low price that needs reactive adjustment up to stop overpopulating higher stages.

It is really a hard thing to get right. If everyone has perfect stat Illuvials they become worth nothing and that is a problem too. How to balance affordability, rarity and also not screwing over past buyers. Not easy.

I think most of the 100 TPI Illuvials are fuses, at least going by what I have seen being sold. Definitely could get 98s and 99s fusing. I would have liked to know the percentage chance. Some people seemed to have more luck than others.

Illuvium has created a few different games.

This #🎮〕illuvium-overworld channel is focused on the overworld game. Used to be a bit like a creature capture game, but it had basically no driving plot line. That game is not currently playable and is being reworked to become more of an MMO style with actual progression and drive.

#🎮〕illuvium-zero is the game that uses the land that you purchased. It’s a much simpler game. It’s a resource management game. Basically make an efficient mining base. It helps you produce things that can be used in the other games.

#🎮〕illuvium-arena is the PvP strategy game that uses the creatures from overworld. The gameplay is a lot like other autobattler games such as league of legends team fight tactics.

#🎮〕illuvium-beyond is digital card collecting with some decision making that can get you more points on a leaderboard.

Since higher stats + levels = stronger in a fight, they tend to be more pricey

Illuvials also go up in Tiers of rarity. From Tier 0 all the way to Tier 5

And every illuvial has 3 stages of evolution each

Some lower stat illuvials are very cheap. And they will be a lot more powerful than playing with none at all still. Plus you can level them up if they are NFT illuvials - which makes them stronger over time.

The floor price for some average TPI illuvials is around $0.05, all the way up to around $10.
If you start looking at very high TPI (really good stat units) it can get a bit more pricey.

But, you dont need high TPI illuvials when you first begin to learn the game; it's much more important to have weaker illuvials, and absorb all the functions and systems in the game so you can improve your team comps + strategies etc

If Illuvium sells 1ETH in 1 week, 0.05ETH is for zero players that burn fuel. If you burn 1% of the fuel of that week you get 0.0005ETH as revenue.

Now fuel is not sold, but is burn. The share of fuel you burn out of all fuel burn by plot owners determine the money you get from the 5% of revenue that is dedicated to this weekly. In zero Leaderboard you can check how much is ditributed weekly, updated in real time

afternoon all, first time back since OW shut down. what's the news? I'm kinda not keen on going through lots of announcement links, got burnout across my life and if I'm coming back I want to know the state before getting time invested again.

I've seen a vid from obelisk rising and thought that it looked pretty good, but so did OW to me, with the expectation of development.

Obelisk Rising will hopefully be here in December. There may be some more playtests of it between now and then.

It will depend who you talk with. Some will say that there is hope, I think so. Other spend their time saying this or that is a shit (but still "waste" their time here, so I´m not sure about them 😂 )

On the Arena side, there are just balance patches. I hope they are secretly working on gaunlet again, but we don´t know. In theory development is halted, so no mobile version soon. Obelisk rising as Torial said. In the coming days there will be another meeting with main developer (you have a link to the prior one pinned in the general chat). Deathmatch should arrive in a few weeks, lets see what happens with it. There will be also a meeting soon about Zero, lets see if there are news about gyms and other type of integrations with Obelisk Rising. And, in autumn I think, there will be a new card game licensed by a third party on steam sale. And also there is the "secret project" by Kieran, but is secret yet 😅 .

Meanwhile you have other "smaller" games in development by Trinix (play illuvimkt com/clash), Scoriox, Ratty and others.

All he needs to do is create a few Illuvials as avatars for Otherside. The rest is open for everyone to create and share.

I understand that Sanctum Mesa is supposed to be the social space. And it is fine and great, once you started your gaming PC and Illuvium.

But with Otherside you just open your browser on any laptop and jump into the social space streamed into your browser in under a minute. Full 3D Unreal graphics rendered on server farms with support for thousands of unique avatars in the same space with spatial voice chat.
