So...the "solution" for joining a server on PS5 is to wait ~30 min to reload the mods and once the game crashes or you log off you'll have to do it again. manually deleting mods and reinstalling has the same effect...

Well let’s just say I’ve never finished Skyrim before and bought it like 4 times lol. PS3 normal ps4 and pc special edition and vr for pc. Modding for ASE isn’t illegal. The problem is most modders have stopped playing ASE and moved on from Ark or moved to ASA where they make money now.

Most modders won’t go and redownload the devkit to even fix the mods.

It’s a shitty thing that’s happening to ASE, either snail just wants to milk money and don’t care what they do, or this is a shady way to kill off ASE and bring new players to ASA. Whatever you want to believe ASE will slowly die because of this dlc.

i played for like 5hrs first not a issue and then played another 4hrs went to AB, rock drake egg hunting had issues there due to some metallic texture appearing over EVERYTHING then today not a issue and the textures was gone, and no issues

I did notice my fps tank and nothing I did would fix it even going performance mode I still got 5fps. Tho what I notice for me it happened after turning shadows from high to medium. Tho after restarting it fixed it and I could change without issues. I think there’s a change changing graphics can brick the game.

People could fix existing mods if they got permission from the original dev but most people won’t.

Fixing bugs like the base game isn’t really possible since you can’t change the core engine that’s baked in. Bugs from mods can be fixed by people if someone willing to fix them but most modders left ASE.

Oh yeah because it is in a way. A lot of the s+ building was baked into base game but since it changes some things you can’t do some stuff like ASE since it’s limited.

Like no foundation stacking and other stuff like that. Collision when turned off is like half way between ASE and s+ on base ASA.

Wildcard aren’t stoping with ASA it’s their new baby, probs even more when ark 2 comes out since that’s not gonna be the same style. It’s why ASA becoming more like Fortnite style of just having everything on it.

Mod authors also make money now since they can sell mods on ASA, even small studios are making stuff for ASaa as premium mods.

Also most players won’t go back to ASE purely because of the low graphics.

WC is still working on fixing the current issue for Playstation & Xbox players.
As for now, PS5 and Xbox players may still experience issues connecting to servers with certain mods on ps5 and Xbox n addition, larger mods take longer than usual to download at the moment.

Nekatus changed something in the day/night cycle what causes astraeos server to reset the day counter to 1. But this should not harm anything else. So if you could get everything else back to the pre update state I would just ignore the server day counter.

This hasn't really fixed anything for me. I've managed to get onto the game but to do that I updated mods one by one. The issue is when you leave the server and come back you have to download them again!

Na new performance mode goes beyond low. Just see if it starts and then go from there. First step is get into the game. If it crashes even after on performance mode than you might have to redownload ark because something not right. A potato can run that version. Identify files never really works for me unless I delete a file. Never fixed corrupted stuff for me

Open your task manager and watch gpu if it’s constantly crashing your pc it might have to do with power. It’s the only time I’ve had a game crash my pc completely to blue screen. Watch power and all that.

Tho I’d put performance mode it’s in the graphic preset and watch your gpu power he you join singleplayer

Q I'm not sure why. When you run it you should see a pretty dramatic change in the way the game looks. If you don't see that change it may not have run properly. I've also got most things on the right disabled and rest set medium for my machine. I've only had it not work once. I was looking for silica pearls near green in scorched. I turned lumen back on to see through the water but something there made it run bad. So I immediately switched it back but it didn't clear up. I logged in and out and with this turned off it remained fine around green. My guess is certain effects kill the FPS but it's not clear why disabling it doesn't always fix it. But if you disable it and it's not fixed, log and it should be ok

I am playing xbox on my servers with ~20 mods including PCS and stacks. No issues except for transferring servers. Wildcard event mods do not work. All others we use seem fine since yesterday.

I transferred to all 3 servers last night. A bit painful (game crashes) but my character was always uploaded, so just meant downloading at the transfer screen.

I like it being 20% weight reduced on humans and then 20% on top of all the other weight reduction with high stacks. Kinda makes it nice since higher weight becomes annoying since moving is based by % and not the full weight.

No idea never tried it on this bad laptop but for my 3080 10gb desktop on extinction went from dlss quality, textures/view on epic, foliage on high and the rest on low and I had to cap myself on 40 to get stable.

Not being made by wildcard, original makers of rag is making it. They’ve already added two new massive islands and changed where the swamp is.

DLC creature probs not happening since they’re releasing lost colony as preorder on same day and that has early content so maybe dlc creature in it but who knows.

Rag probs only get delayed if they can’t fix these issues right now as I believe the creators behind rag would be pretty good at making the map on time.

Not the version UE4 ASE is on it’s an old version from 2014-2015. Epic optimises their engine each update the only difference was gpus were amazing back then compared to the demand the engines required.

Engines are are unoptimised very heavy demanding and gpus are weaker what do you think happens when this happens ??

This is actually a bug that many players here are complaining about, after entering the game even with the graphics in performance only, a few minutes pass and the FPS drops to 10, unfortunately if the wildcard doesn't fix this it will be impossible to play the game, I'm really frustrated

Good for you that some are running fine, I believe you guys but not everyone is on the same boat and its frustrating. I love this game to bits and will never leave but every update they've launched, my fps just gets lower and lower. My 4060 easily runs on most other high-end games like GOWR, I easily run that with 120+ fps.

Tribute Terminal lets you transfer items across maps. Vivarium can store crypods of dinos and with an item aggregator you can have an automatic farm that produces tons of resources over time. Tek Elevator effectively lets you jump from one floor to the next, going up or down in your base instead of having to use stairs or the slow (and weight limited!) elevator platform. There's also an autocrafter, and a new dedicated storage box that links up to a dropoff terminal, so you can auto-sort all of your resources out into dedi storage boxes.

There's also a blueprint station which lets you convert any structure into blueprints, so you can learn an engram, make blueprints, then mindwipe to spend your points on different engrams.

Nondedicated is extremely finicky. Sometimes it'll work perfectly, and then other times it won't let you do anything. Just keep trying. Restart your consoles and then try inviting from the friends list instead of ingame

if anyone wanna try this for themselves, the shader cache is located in the steam library folder in which u installed ark and then its D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\shadercache\2399830 delete the folder called 2399830 (this is the identity code for ark in steam)

Hey Guys, tried to upload bug evidence to WC, failed 🤷‍♀️ not sure if issues on my end or not, my friend and I were playing extinction, doing a red OSD, my friend on pc got kicked/dashboarded 5 times during wave 1-5, and I also got kicked on the final wave on xbox, we've got no mods of any kind installed, we use a nitrado server, and up until the main game 5.5 update neither of us had any issue with dashboards or crashes, I myself have been dashboarded now 15-20 times since the update released, once while standing still in our base, the rest while out in the wastelands, usually while flying on the Snow Owl...also the snow owls when diving have sort of "bent, checker-board" sort of effect coming off the wing tips while in dive and upon the smash landing thing...

I would have uploaded this to Survivetheark with some photo/video evidence but for some reason it doesn't appear to be wanting to working either.. im only putting this here so atleast someone might see it...

So I loaded my ark singleplayer in an hour ago and it ran smoothly then all the sudden I load it again and it’s frames galore and transparent trees and rocks are now showing up everywhere. I can get rid of em by leaving render but why the frames for no reason.

@midnight mulch Shadowmanes MUST be asleep in order to tame. Fill a fish basket with fish then go out to it crouching with a ghili suit and creep up to it to feed it. Keep note it can't tame if it is not asleep.

Use a tool like tcadmin would be my advice for a dedi but all you need to do is place the unzipped files in the mod directory and add them to the startup arguments for the server.
