ALL of my ocs have TWO MAIN DESIGNS. One is their more used design, simplistic, easy to read, etc. And another "stylized" design, like how people take characters and add a CRAP ton of things to them, completely giving them an overhaul
Lots of stripes of body paint, a few scars, chains, tattoos, more elaborate features(more abstract eye lashes/shapes, different hair designs, etc.), EVERYTHING is taken up to 11!

For Daímonas, he gains gold arm bands, much more complicated clothing designs, and my favorite thing is golden face piercings, elf ears, and a golden tooth :)

Of course I'd need to draw Daímonas to actually show what changes (its a lot) but I just remembered that he would have a golden canine and I had to share this

Shards fall on the realms periodically. If you go to the place where the shard is, and burn all the darkness plants, you get to do a minigame for a reward!
You can get a lot of wax, or ascended candles, depending on if a shard is black or red. Red shards are usually harder but give you ac!

The ones for completing constellations are called elder cosmetics usually or something similar, they need a lot of ascended candles
The elder hairs are fine enough, the masks cost hundreds

But I just have the two! Shadow and Rosa. Shadow is a drifter from Golden Wasteland, and has survived there for the majority of their life until they decided to explore beyond its borders one day. Meanwhile, Rosa is a Skykid from the Prairie Peaks. She's not really much of an explorer when you compare her to Shadow, so I imagine that the two of them met there.

Honestly, I'd just go with a basic concept! Sometimes the smallest start can drive a lot. For me, I created Shadow and Rosa for one of the Skytober prompts - Bloom, back in 2022. I never ended up finishing that bit of art (was sick), but I requested two skykids in #outfit-requests for it, and got attached to them.

One little headcanon I have, actually!

New skykids appear all across the world, though having them fall in some places is more common than others. Daylight Prairie skykids, for instance, are the most common, because it's the most safe. Eye of Eden skykids, however, are the rarest, because most don't even survive entry.

Each realm has its own homespace, where skykids tend to fall most frequently. Nobody knows why this happens; however, the skykids already in the world have noticed that they do and build 'safe zones' for skykids to fall into. Old Home is Daylight's Prarie landing point - a small, secluded isle not far from Sanctuary. Each of the other realms have similar homespaces, but more so matching the aesthetic of those realms. Aviary is technically attached to none of them, being in its own distinct area alongside the Wind Paths, but more recently, it's been discovered that more and more skykids are landing there, perhaps due to a shift in the realms.

Just because you land in a certain area, though, does not mean you have to stick to it (despite what the game might say). Many Golden Wasteland skykids end up migrating to a more agreeable realm, though some remain simply because they can't bear to leave home.

Determination!! If you get 10-15 candles each day, you can buy everything from every ts!! And you can get a good amount just by doing Geyser and Granny, which is how i'm doing it

It's harder to hold on to candles as a newer player because there's so many things you can buy in the regular constellations AND events AND every time there's a TS. I, for one, have not completed a single regular constellation 🫠

Well, I like to have the hearts and candles in the same cell, to the right of the column with pictures of cosmetics. I also merge cells on a per-spirit basis. I could use Excel to add up specifically the numbers before the candles and before the heart symbols separately, but I would rather just use a calculator

That's fine, a bunch of the cosmetic colors appear differently depending on lighting anyway. Is it blue? Is it black? Is it the dress color controversy? It is what you want it to be/J

Nope but can help. Some self-medicate with it even. I hate exercise but ringfit is fun because they really nailed the “gami-fy” model. The npc’s are cute, there are quests and mini games and I was denied my boss battle because my level was to low so I had to repeat other levels to raise it. And you can strategize when battling enemies too
