Sorry this took a while it’s a little late for me rn so it’s kinda hard to formulate thoughts rn 😭BUT it rlly depends on what kinda beard you’re drawing but I usually like to block out the shape of the beard first in small parts(?) the front face is an old example 😭 but it usually works on different angles like the side view ☝️ sadly though im not the best at different textured beards but I would say to to block out the shape first and just treat it like how you would draw textured hair(?) sorry if this doesn’t make sense again 😭

Yes, I know, but you don't have to watch anything, right? I don’t think that everyone in the game knows the little prince, but most of them do, and perhaps it’s the same with the Hazbin Hotel, and perhaps many don’t know Aurora, but both of these events exist and will exist

Yes this is true but Aurora and little prince are family friendly. Hazbin hotel is a ADULT show, with very very not good themes that sky would enjoy working with. Especially when you only look at the characters for potential spirits, it does not work out well.

There are a ton of ways you can sketch your poses out. The circle scribble method helps a ton when you're building perspective. Shape blocking can help you conceptualize where body parts are. The scribble method helps with figuring the dynamic flow of a piece. And rough blocking is a fast way to get something out and you can flesh it out later. Great for figuring out a pose before looking for reference.
I also suggest looking at photographic/realistic references as well as cartooning references(anime included). They help a ton when your brain cant make the shape right.

honestly, I don't think you have to worry about it as much as you think - a lot of people have skysonas here! having a skysona isn't smth to worry about - so long as you're not doing anything particularly copyright infringing with it (primarily claiming the character as exclusively your own original property and passing it off as such when it still ties back to sky)

that kinda applies more to stuff like commercial use, but for casual use like in art you make and all that? nothing really to worry about. I think if tgc was really strict about it, they'd be after a lot of us

Don't be afraid to do as many colourways as you can/need to figure out the colour scheme! In fact, I would highly recommend that. And don't be afraid to have to scrap anything as well if you feel like you have to in the end.

Personally, I think the reds are fine, but the blue would be something I'm not sure on. Maybe play around with different shades of it if you're set on it, see what complements the others the best

Dw paper wasps are less aggressive than other wasps if you do see one they wont bother u unless you give them reason. Other wasps… yes be afraid they will steal your lunch
