Play Store updates need double the app's total size for an update. It's to download the required patches, apply the patch and then verify the update works. If it didn't work, it would retry without damaging the original install.

What is up with eden? I just went thru the whole thing, gave out my lights and when i died i got stuck on this grey screen with black rocks flying about and nothing happening, i restarted the game, it wont let me die anymore no matter how long i stay in the rocks. you should be able to use the return shrine, you'll appear in the ||pity room.|| that's a common bug that can be solved by restarting your game.

I recently got the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which has been a dream to use apart from in Sky. The graphics on Sky are super blurry and I can't even change to 60 fps. It's extremely disappointing to me. This is literally the top Android tablet now, so it should be able to handle a game that my 3 year old phone can. What's up?

It is due to your chipset being too new to have a "GPU score" in the database Sky references at startup. If there isn't a value in that database, you get default, low quality graphics to avoid lag. It is honestly a flawed system due to how many Android devices come out yearly, but...

Hi, yes exactly what others said, but I'd like to add that sky does look more blurry than mobile devices on tablets, it is mostly because of the larger screen size(and hence lower pixel density) and sky not rendering natively. I run sky on a Tab S6 Lite and it looks like you forgot to wear glasses sometimes

The game recognised the ps5 controller. However, its REALLY messed up. The right joystick doesn't work at all, so you can't change the direction you're looking at. The trigger buttons if pressed will make the screen go in circles endlessly. And you can't navigate any kind of menu.

My controller is in great condition, so I'm not sure how to fix this problem.

That's not true at all. If you give Google Play the optional permissions when first logging in, the Recorder becomes available through that. However, it's not a good recorder.

The A022 is 32 bit, iirc. Best to use a 64 bit checking app. (Most are unfortunately named and will trigger the bot censor, so a quick search of "64 bit checker" should pull a few apps in the play store to make sure your device is truly 64 bit or if Samsung cheaped out on your device.)

This is a tiny bit late but this is a common-ish bug, doesn't have much to do with with your phone. (Maybe it does, but afaik this is common) Restarting should fix it. If not, clearing Sky's cache and restarting device should do it.

If you go in game to the Settings, and you are unable to make the battery show three highlighted lightning bolts, it means your device cannot use 60FPS at the moment.

If it's for family, that's completely fine. However do avoid using card info on more than one account as that will mess up things. Multiple accounts on the same device is possible because it's for those that are sharing a single device. People do abuse that though (creating alts for their own benefit) which is where issues can occur

The hardware is 64 bit, yes. Samsung built the software as 32 bit. If you don't believe me, there is an app in the play store called "64 bit checker" you can verify with. I just know because the kernel is armv7 which is 32 bit. You need aarch64 or armv8 to be 64 bit.

Android has issues with some controller's D-pad inputs and triggers being recognized in Sky. (RT/LT on Xbox controllers or similar). I would suggest reporting it as a bug. I did over 12 months ago with no resolution, though.

I can concur with this statement. I have been playing sky on multiple Android devices using multiple different compatible controllers. The D-pad almost never responds.

The adreno 505 is rated to produce approximately 48.6 Gflops in 32-bit floating point operations... Whereas the mali t720 mp1 is rated to about 10.2 Gflops...

The Intel HD graphics 4400 located within my 13-year-old laptop can produce around 500 Gflops... Which is approximately the similar graphics power of the Samsung Galaxy S7... Sadness

If you already have your account linked to a sign in method, I would suggest a clean install. If you don't know if you linked your account, you can try clearing Sky's cache. Long press Sky, tap app info (or the i in a circle) and select "Storage and Cache" then select "Clear cache."

yes, sometimes (but not always) mantas/jellies/ mushrooms will launch you into the sky, it isn't always reliable but they tend to have that feature and afaik it's intended

This happens due to lag, usually on devices with low specs. Someone explained it to me before, it has something to do with multiplied inputs caused by your lagging device or something like that. Sorry I'm not very tech savvy

It doesn't matter if it's brand or new, every device (especially androids) is different, they were all manufactured differently with all kinds of different specs. Your 'super old galaxy' essentially has better [insert the fancy term/s cuz I'm not good at this HAHSH] specs I guess? Than your 'brand new' device. Also, not every device that should have 60fps will have it as I believe it has to do with TGC? Not entirely sure. But either way new doesn't mean better. You can't do anything about it unfortunately

It doesn't matter if a device is new or old, plenty of older devices are capable of running sky, and plenty of newer devices can't, it all depends on their specs. Your sky just doesn't meet the minimum specs requirements. What phone is it?

Being new doesn't make it exempt from the requirements needed to play the game. For example, the new Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is not compatible due to being 32 bit. Samsung built the OS as 32 bit. Sky is a 64 bit game. That's why it isn't compatible.

TGC's track record on compensation with their own bugs is spotty at best. I highly doubt they would compensate for an error on a third party's login.

I wouldn't count on it. Compensation is a rarity and usually the wrong users get compensated. For example, when a good portion of Switch users were locked out of the game for two weeks, I know of people who opened up support tickets with proof they were affected, but not compensated. Support just auto closes their tickets now.

This is just a login issue-- No one is going to lose their accounts. I understand the paying for ap and missing days and so on, but this should get fixed, it usually does. But no one knows when, even TGC doesn't. This also isn't the channel to discuss it and whatnot, but #general-sky-discussion is great for that as you're not the only one

It would more than likely be quicker to create a Nintendo account (they're free and don't require any Nintendo Consoles to create) and open a support ticket for a "lost account" to see if they can link the new Nintendo account to your Sky ID.

Facebook has had login issues in the past yes Several times. I recommend linking your account to much more secure methods such as Google and/or Nintendo (you don't need to have a switch to create a Nintendo account) Facebook isn't a secure method itself since there used to be instances of accounts randomly getting banned if they were unused (not sure if it's still a thing, but still)
