Hi! Welcome to Sky!

Seasons are the big, long events. They usually last a couple of months and add new spirits, cosmetics, and a questline. When a Season is active, you’ll see a Season Guide spirit hanging around Home, and there will be seasonal candles (the orange ones) to collect. You just talk to the guide, do the seasonal quests, collect seasonal candles, and unlock cosmetics from the seasonal spirits. You don’t need the Season Pass to participate, it just gives extra items and the limited ultimate rewards.

Then there are the smaller “Days of” events. These are shorter, themed events that happen throughout the year. During these, Home or certain realms will look different, a special NPC might appear with teleport function, and limited-time cosmetics return. Often there’s a separate event currency (tickets /tokens) to collect.

If you’re not sure whether something is happening right now, just look around Home. If it’s decorated or there’s a random spirit standing somewhere unusual, an event is probably active. You can also check the shop tab or the in-game calendar in settings menu ⚙️

Additionally, you can always inform yourself from #news where these are announced in advance!
We have a double light event and radiance event, also special visitors event. We're in the second half of a season as well - busy times!

Biggest tip: log in regularly during Seasons so you don’t fall behind on candles, but don’t stress about getting everything. Most cosmetics come back eventually.

If you place torch on the ground with a tall skykid, or install it vertically so that it touches the skykid’s body, the wing light charging time is approximately 1.7 seconds.
Also if you place it on the ground with a small skykid, the wing light charging time increases to about 5 seconds. If you don’t have any other light-charging items, I would recommend it!

As long as it’s placed properly, it can also be used in grandma’s feast table, so I think it’s quite useful.

As often as you like. But you can save each statue only once per week, and saving a statue rewards you with 0.25 AC. If you go more than once, you can only save the statues you did not save in your previous runs that week.

Max height is different for every sky kid, so there is no way to know. If you used many spells to get to your height, it is probably a good idea to stop.

There are spirits in the tree they teleport you to, and the spirits are flames unil you get close to them and they pop out, like the tombstone style at the beginning of levels. You have to fly up the trees to see them, and I don't know how many total spirits there are supposed to be.

There is no max, but the soft cap is 20 candles (your candle will go grey). You can collect 21-22 technically, but it's extremely inefficient since the amount of wax needed is essentially doubled from 20 to 21

If it's only your grey candle, definitely not, the 21th candle requires almost 2000 wax, the 22th would require additionally almost 4000. The events and areas you mentioned are not enough for that - and your sky kid being exhausted - not efficient to Cr anymore today

It's worth keeping in mind that you need to get 21 full candles. So if you started at half candle today, you gotta be at half candle bar too, to make calculations and not being off by hundreds - even up to thousands - of wax.

I estimated the areas and events - including the eel and all wax in treasure reef, considering 2 geysers, trials, turtle etc that's still estimated to be barely 2000-2500 wax. That's enough for getting 21 candles after having 20, but not enough for 22. So, if the info you provided and candle meters are punctually matching/correct, that candle run shouldn't be enough.
If you started the day at almost full candle, and you have just forged 21, then you have a chance. 🤞

there's not a set max amount of candles you can receive, but the wax scales exponentially, and more or less is doubled after the 20th
21 is possible, 22 sometimes ? it depends a lot on events and also getting every single piece of wax from every single source, 23 is just. not possible

you can get 4 extra normal candles from daily quests when off-season (as there's no seasonal candles to reward you with), but you can't really go much higher than that

You click on this thing and then the spirit will follow you. After 30 minutes you'll get a message at the bottom of the screen telling you that whatever spirit you picked is ready to go (due to 30 minutes passing) and then you'll have to click on the same icon thing again for them to leave. Then the zick-zack thing on the left will go higher and its faster for you to unlock the next level of the friendship tree!
