No. You can buy the seasonal pass whenever you want throughout the season that is active but you'll get the most perks at the start of the season.

Be careful as lots of people will be also purchasing so bugs/ crashes might occur on the day the new season starts

You can buy as many seasonal passes too but you can only have one for the current season. Any additional seasonal passes are gift able to friends only. You cannot use it for yourself in the next season

ah! for that, you want to avoid the blue light they cast on the ground ^^
the krill follow specific routes, so it helps to remember those as well

if you do get spotted, the light turns red and there's an audio cue as well. your best bet then is to hide under a rock (or similar obstacle), wiggle around until the light turns blue again, and wait for the krill to leave

more advanced players sometimes use a trick called krill dodging (sometimes krill taming) to avoid getting hit, but it's more of a recreational activity. It's not very practical since it requires alot of space and at least 9 flaps.

As far as Devs have stated in Patchnotes, the size of the Nest itself remains the same. What changed is now the option to upgrade the capacity of the Nest, to be able to place more furniture and decor (pls note that they are currently bugged, so not all the items wont be properly saved).
As far as instruments, there has been some changes, I understand, but still have not tried to test them.

Yes, it is normal, because you cannot get any live ongoing service 100% bug free before every patch. Bugs are tested and fixes are implemented in base to that research, it may or may not work on the first try and it may or may not cause further issues as a result of the adjustments, it's a normal part of development.

You either need to be appointed moderator (for green), appointed shepherd (orange), or join TGC (light blue). Can't do any of those yourself. You can boost the server to get a pink one though.
Edit: You can also break the server rules and get muted, that'll turn you brown. I wouldn't recommend that though - breaking the server rules is a bad idea and muted people can't talk.

There is no set time for when bugs will be fixed. Some bugs can be much harder to tackle than they look for a variety of reasons that we don't have insight to. Unfortunately the best we can do is be patient - the devs are doing their best to fix any bugs that they can
