Reasons:

• the in-game camera can adjust brightness, is some used camera and adjusted it, that would create dramatic difference
• the dynamic light of Sky is sensitive: small angle difference can result in different looks
• different devices can render colors differently because of drivers reasons
• some devices also offer vivid/contrasty screen settings which also can alter them

It's very visible that the image on the right is very dark, that in itself can tame the halo effect completely

There is no way to truly tell, not everyone chooses to appear as a veteran even if they are one. Aside from asking them directly, you can probably observe so with any of their cosmetics or props

After completing shattering quests, everyone sees the memory of the day, however if those quests havent been completed, the person will see a different set of shard memories!
For example, everyone sees elder memory on the same day except for those who haven't finished the questline- seeing jellyfish or manta instead depending on the progress

Hermit Valley! You can get the wings, wax, do the race and make your way down to village of dreams

Forgotten Ark without the whole cutscenes and walking all the way to the boat, handy for winglight

In vault it leads you to Little Prince area! Not sure if it's connected to the rest of vault that way tho.. still handy for the wl there.

i dont think so , the creators of shared memories in itself are cooperation between players , they , out of their own kindness create the shared memories , with no requirements of payment. people in return send hearts purely out of gratitude. i also think that it cant be selfish for people who want to complete puzzles as they have choosed to do it manually , no one owes them the gameplay. if youre talking about people who use shared memories instead of helping others open the door then thats different , most players help first , or atleast i do. for moths i think its completely different , as a moth youll have to explore anyway , unlike intermediate/veteran players the game is not yet repetitive to them as they just started. when you play the game for too long it can get repetitive , shared memories help make the gameplay faster and easier , leaving more time to hangout with friends , or simply saving time for busy people

It's not cooperative at all if the creators of those shared memories potentially used hacks to instantly teleport to the wax spots in the given areas (not just Vault, but many other areas) and risk other players' accounts getting flagged as suspicious and get muted / suspension. Its better to be safe and genuinely cooperate with the other players in the intended way for the game as designed rather than using illegitimate methods that's clearly against the TOS.

Finishing quests from the multiple spirit guides will permit you to buy the hearts they're selling for 3 candles each

Also each traveling spirit that comes sell a heart for 3 candles. And collecting 60 daily light from friends gives 1 free heart

You can try to collect candles by going to grandma event, geyser and the candle cakes (the big candle bunches) in the selected realms. It'll get you 15 candles every day if you max them out

Sky's a social game, so the game wants you to play and be on the move! However there are spots here and there to linger and get some wax out of it! (bonfire in wasteland and valleys temple for example)

I recommend timing a Cr run in a way that you get prairie+sanctuary+geyser done and forest+granny as well! That's what I do as I'm busy with school work!

I have noticed 2 potential issues that can cause the audio issues within your game.

• Sonal SteelSeries: this is typically not a pre installed application, and it can have glitches. I recommend to uninstall it and try with the native sound driver of your motherboard. ASRock mb are not typically pre-installed with SteelSeries software Suite.

• switching audio drivers doesn't remove the potential conflict of installed drivers of another third party
• as mentioned the motherboard can be sensitive as well, especially when it needs to handle multi channel audio (Sky in itself is already using 3 audio channels: instruments, SFX, and bgm)
• if you click on the forum link provided you can see that this motherboard you are having can have audio glitches related to GPU too, so it can be motherboard-GPU origin as well; your issue is much more complex than switching audio sources

It was a long time ago approximately before shattering season.
Everyone has their preference: being very tall means harder positioning behind shelters, being chibi terrain gaps and stairs are a pain and very small sizes can loose light slightly faster in contaminated water
