We don't know how many servers exist, at least not afaik. There's a maximum of 8 players per server, you might get swapped or server merged depending on server capacity matters, other than that, we're unaware of what causes a server swap/merge.
Speaking from experience, I can say server merges have been a bit overwhelming since a couple updates ago, but that may be just me, I can't state it as a fact.
Maybe fellow helpers in here have more info.

Just chiming in here quickly, but that’s actually not true. Sky crashes sometimes, and I would recommend following the standard troubleshooting steps instead. Clearing cache and turning your device off and on really helps in most cases

How does giving out a season pass work exactly?

Motorolas are not compatible with Sky. It's been explained apparently why and I looked at the specs, and it looks like anything before 2022/2023 in terms of GPU/CPU and other specs would no longer work with Sky on average, based on the specs that were specified in the link below compared to what specs were being used in devices at that time. Even some newer iPhone models might have the problem too?

Still reviewing technical details on this, will come back to you on this.

Sadly Android and iOS devices are quite different. Android has fewer optimizations (as there are a lot of devices running android and optimizing for each of them would be impossible) but in iOS there are fewer devices and the game is very well optimized (all iOS devices with iOS 12 or later can run Sky, this includes the original iPhone 6 launched in 2014)

Also the Motorola issue is due to drivers, not by their hardware specs

Strong disagree. Android is largely open-sourced and is only closed-sourced by choice of the producer(s) of your phone and performance is degraded based on what fork of Android your phone has. I purchased Motorola as it was the most open-sourced option when I was speaking to my seller when I bought the phone and it resulted in me basically customizing my phone to do things that put an iPhone 13 to shame. You can't do that with Apple devices, and you definitely can't replace a battery bump when the phone's about to explode; Motorola replaces those fellas for free! Apple does not. Surprisingly.

Samsung is a good example of how NOT to optimize phone perfomance and battery.

Sadly being open-source means there is tons of devices running with different specs each one, that is why is more optimized for iOS devices (fewer devices = more optimization to them)

As well as the game being made from scratch with iOS in mind (since 2017) at the end software support depends on both the game and manufacturer from a device (where TGC, Sky’s devs can’t optimize for all android devices from all manufacturers)

Ah, well just to let you know that once you enter Butterfly Fields with the Chibi Mask, the camera would REALLY zoom in quite close to your Sky Kid, and you can't zoom out properly, and it will continue into other areas, until you restart the game

Is there any way to know which shards would give you the PlayStation trophy for doing the highest-level shard event? I follow Clement's daily updates and thought the one yesterday that gave 3.5 Ascension candles would be one of those, but even though it did have crystal crabs and some shards in the air, the background music was relaxing instead of that tense, negative that I've heard before when the shards come to the Assembly forest.
