They won’t retire old items. That’s money to be made. It’s unnecessary anyways. People don’t need to buy them if they can’t or don’t want to. Having them there is best for people who can and do want them.

The old items would be in the Office anyways. The new IAPs can be seen in shop outside of Office. They can do the same with every other item in the past too.

Why would the office have to be open for that? Items can still come back in the regular shop. I just don't think TGC can endlessly bring back all past IAPs, because it will just be overwhelming for the players.

not all types of events involve free entry into the office -- from memory, the office becomes open to everyone if there's some kind of item that can only be bought in there (e.g. returning past IAPs, or anniversary cosmetics)

I guess the best example we could make for an item "not" returning would be Days of Healing Flower, it was released last May 2020. It's almost July 2021 now and I've heard no plans of it coming back (so far)

Traveling spirits can of course return any times. The official information is all ts are random and there's no ts order schedule. There are 2 rules only:

• ts can't repeat right after each other
• season spirit won't come as a ts until the next season ended.

There is no promise items will return year over year. If there is an IAP item that you don't want to miss, the safest decision is to set money aside to purchase it, but TGC cannot advise anyone on their monetary decisions.

Realm candles are coded different than the daily gift and quest candles. While we do get candles quicker in beta due to the accelerated season and to test the cosmetics out, it was getting a bit out of hand how many candles converted.

I have expressed concern about us having the ability of converting over 1000 candles a season in beta. It kind of kills the candle economy, so players can't gauge any changes to things like the Daily Light system when we tested it, or the value of heart trading for the higher cost capes, like black tier 2, invisicape, etc.

TL/DR: I hope this was intentional to reduce the amount of conversion at the end of the beta season.

I may be in the minority(?) but I still collect if I have time to play everyday. Generalizing this behavior to all players would neglect the players like me. For me it’s about knowing what you do as a beta tester. If I want to test candle light system, my candle balance won’t make any difference to my decisions. Likewise I go to eden anytime I have time not because I need AC but to test it

I understand this. I do the same CR in beta as I do in live for a side by side comparison. (I'm in that minority as well) The only difference in beta, is I also get the other realm SC's after the duplicate CR.

Please refrain from vitriolic comments. If you don't have time to test, that's fine. Test when you can. I never said you had to be on every day. We've had enough days in beta to get the cosmetics twice over by now. You could have beta tested for half of the time the season has been out in beta and completed it, besides the quests. It takes 15 minutes tops for an SC run without doing the dailies.

I think those are valid points, 1700 sc conversions make the economy incomparable to live I don't know if testing pricing is necessary/the goal through straight gameplay in beta though (very few prople play beta as they would play live), we can look at pricing through how we'd operate in the live economy and the big conversions in beta are like a nice treat

Skyrunner, as has been said before, if it’s stressful or you don’t feel you have time for beta, focus on Live instead. There will always be others ready to step up.
In this specific case, we do get loads of SC and most players have already finished the constellation. The most important part to test isn’t the cosmetics, after all. So even if you can’t complete the constellation, you contributed in other ways.

The daily light system change is personally demotivating for me to go anywhere besides the bare minimum if i’m playing alone especially in live. Of course Beta’s existence is for testing….testing of all flavors …. regression, integration, performance, stability, etc. I thought it was brilliant beta performance optimizing move on TGC’s part to introduce seasonal candle gather daily in all realms, that gets beta players to come back daily, visit every realm and test out all new upcoming quests. A year ago, the beta players I knew spent more time on white candle gather, sucking time away that could be used for testing new feature/fixes. Today it’s just the opposite and more aligned with the beta programs reason to be. Further, the daily SC habit primes the beta economy for all the resources needed to test out all of the new event that continually need testing, e.g. bloom, rainbow, LP cosmetics, TS.

The Asteroid Level is a new location that can only be reached with the use of the Asteroid Cape. There is no Entrance/accessible way to this location without the cape, as the cape teleports you to the location from wherever your current location is/was.

I've come to notice something! It might be a bug soo... Piggyback only is able to be requested in certain places of each realm.. From what I observed (in vault) 1st floor 4 player.. You cannot request piggyback to anybody you have it with, yet on 2nd floor 4 player.. You can request it to everyone you have it unlocked with

Hmm I don't know where that could be, but we could jump in Beta and try searching it together! As testers, it's important for us to look for things ourselves before asking questions and submit any struggles to TGC in #beta-feedback. That way we are helping many Live children that could have the same questions

With the Asteroid Cape, you can teleport you and your friends holding your hand to a new location called the Asteroid.
It's only accessible through the cape and has no entrance/accessible way to it otherwise.
