It is an IAP item that is time gated. Beta hasn't finished 6th or 7th quest, yet to see pricing or availability. For the first few days of the season, we were able to get spells to try out the cape, though, so there should be some screenshots if you browse through #beta-screenshots-videos

If you purchased candles from either platform then no iirc, switch purchased currencies can only be used for switch and same with mobile

collected candles will show on all platforms. candle packs or IAP items with candles will only show up on the platform you bought the IAP.

example, you bought the starter pack on mobile. You can only use the candles that came with the starter pack on mobile. If you bought the Nintendo pack on your Switch, those candles that came with the cosmetics would only show up when you're on the Switch. Bought candles will be used before collected candles.

Sanctuary and Enchantment quests aren't repeatable either. Some season are like this, but i agree from the the tester pov it would be useful to repeat them. I was just thinking that making it repeatable in live would make it lose it's charm a little, because it wouldn't be a memorable one time experience. Or maybe some player could get more attached to an npc and that would reduce the motivation to build friendship with real players ? this all guessing from my part ofc

This means that most of the final decisions are made by the Exupery Estate, not TGC. It will be a special season where reactions will be bigger in either positive or non-positive way. There won't be a clearly one way reaction tho (hence the heated discussions and the disabled reactions since LP beta season test)

Thanks to the new daily light system, you can get roughly 5 candles just from doing 1 realm
The next season will last 77 days (11 weeks), so 77 x 5 = 385 candles, more than enough for when the pants become available at the last quest

Season stays for a month and longer, if player saves 10 candles a day they can get 200 candles in 20 days

You literally have two months for saving. Two weeks you will get around 200 candle with current Chevron system.

If you busy. You can CR in 1 Daily Cake Realm and Sanctuary. You will get around 10-11 candle after CR. And you still can save for TS too.

I don't really think they have a "max of 6", but an "usual max of 6". as in, they focus in having at most 6 spirits per season, but they can very well put less or even more
but that means taking or putting more emotes and you can't simply separate one spirit's cosmetics into two, when each spirit's cosmetics have a place in the spirit's own lore + emote

Considering that the season is 11 weeks long, that's 2-3 candles a day. If you normally get 5-10 a day, you'll absolutely be able to get it

Yes, 2-3 regular candles a day is absolutely possible for the sword pants even for the light players. I measured time and I was able to get 10 candles in about half an hour farming wax alone without trials or daily candle cakes (and I had some Facebook messenger and small talk in the meantime).

There is an emote with a person rubbing their hands together. The spirit was originally called “Shrewd Merchant”

The name “Shrewd merchant” could be definitely problematic. That hand gesture coupled with the concept of greed and being a merchant is very reminiscent of anti-Jewish propaganda and antisemetic rhetoric

The name has been changed to “Star Collector” which changes the connotations of the gesture a lot. I personally think this is a great solution and is less likely to unintentionally contribute to cultural stereotypes about Jewish people. This being said, I am not Jewish. So please take my opinion with a grain of salt

If you mean the memory fragment counter in the upper right corner of the screen, it was gray.
The Spirit glow is a faint gold (I fed back that this would be easier to see if it glowed more strongly).

Normally blue. I only did respectful pianist so far, but their relive was grey instead of a color. the counter, the circle, everything was grey, except the faint yellowish glow before starting the memory. (since seasonal, I'd expect them to be purple or have blue like other spirits.)

I've guess this color changed because I had relived before.

QR codes are available, so you can became friends by sending the Switch user's QR code to the mobile user and approving it.
FYI, if both is Switch users, you can friend each other on sky by using your Nintendo account function.

The adventure pass locked cosmetics can only be bought with an adventure pass. However you can get the cosmetic for free(in game currency) when the spirits return as traveling spirits. Note that ultimate rewards and iaps won't return

yeah i've had that happen too- i'm pretty sure it's because the new ui lets you move the camera around so when you play too fast you accidentally move the camera instead of playing

Tbh, that seems possibly intended, I've seen players hoping to find a way to easily have their 150+ Wing Count be gone when going to Eden. They had Kill Switch but it wasn't accepted by players with open arms, (and was it removed due to player's feedback? I forgot)

the kill switch had nothing to do with how long it takes to complete eden, it was a bandaid for a bug that has yet to be truly solved, but we have other measures in place to ensure folks are not progression blocked.
I have no information from dev about the slow walk in the storm area, though it has been flagged for review/investigation, when we have more information, it will be communicated in the appropriate channels. We've had some much bigger things that require our attention at this time, regularly scheduled shenanigans will resume soon enough.

The asteroid jacket will be available in the IAP shop once we complete all quests, you can buy the sword outfit from the questgiver for 200 candles during the last quest as well

Sword pants were iap when season started but got relocated to the seasonal quest tree to obtain for candles after the last quest. Asteroid jacket were only obtainable as a spell early on but it will bt available for purchase later.

its kind of like the adventure pass as well, you dont need to buy it since you can already get quite a bit of items and emotes for 'free' so you wouldnt really need the other items. My theory is that even if the prices would be lower or the same ish as the AP, people still wouldnt get them, they just want to 'be able to' purchase them but they probably wouldnt get them lol. I still dislike the fact theres so many IAPs and that they cost more than the actual pass and that tgc hasnt really made a proper statement to why exactly but thats fine, just dont get what you cant, if you desperately want it, work for it if youre old enough to do so, also keep in mind that theres so many cosmetics bbut you usually only wear maybe 1 to 3 different pieces for a long period of time sorry for the ramble!!!!

Same. If the collabs are going to look the same way I wish it was the last one. TGC won't go bankrupt. They earn a lot and I am willing to support them once in a long while (can't afford more often) if they continue making beautiful seasons in the previous format. I like the game regardless, just it would be so sad if they started overpricing items. Enjoy the season! I absolutely love the new area tho.

I don't have heavy judgement when it comes to how fast a bug is fixed cause just trying to code simple things seems so tedious to me. Imagine fixing it, going through a ton of coding and being careful. One thing fixed could get other things broken or even make the game unplayable. Complicated
At least TGC did compensate the Eden bug by making all the TS wing buffs 0 while they fix it :')

On a harsher note, you’re overthinking there, tgc does not support separation, and i know you’d’ve been told like a million times, but you can choose not to buy iap and still enjoy the game.
And as @hollow compass said, licenses are expensive, especially for such a famous story, change the sword pants from iap to 200 candles is the most they can do.
Btw it’s really not that extreme if you compare sky’s iaps with other games, i mean ||seriously 7ds, HKD318 for just 20 gacha tickets?? ||

@hollow compass I am fully aware of those things, I am an artist myself and I know about copyright and trademark laws and I know that TGC doesn't have as much leeway in this as with other things. however, I still find the prices too high.

it isn't limited to these though, I've commented and sent feedback on things such as the swing, the seesaw, the tea set... even on the price increase from days of nature last year to this one. I have also sent feedback on all this, too. I know that sending feedback doesn't mean that they owe me any changes. however, I know I'm not alone in this, many people have expressed similar thoughts and feelings. overall I see a sense of disillusionment and disappointment at the prices over and over for a large part of players. THAT is why I think TGC should rethink prices in general, not just because of my personal feedback.

Also, @alpine field I never accused TGC of supporting segregation, that is reading WAY too much into my words. I like TGC as a company, I honestly would love to work for or with them one day. but I can still be critical of things I like. I don't think they're perfect. what I expressed is how the constant high prices make ME feel (and it's a sentiment I've seen echoed by many other players). that is something subjective. so it obviously doesn't mean I think they're supporting segregation of something ridiculous like that. also just because other games do a lot worse (and I've seen downright scams out there, especially in gacha games like you mentioned), it doesn't mean that TGC can't make mistakes or do things that don't feel right to me. and I should be able to express that freely as long as I'm respectful, which I take care of being because I know that it's people who read the feedback and work hard on this game. I also make sure to mention the positive changes and things I like and give feedback on those too.

Regarding about IAP. Whenever a new premium item drops, im like "Okay, cool, whatever". Some IAPs are very beautiful, some i feel like it was made with minimum efforts, i buy neither in the end so i don't have any trouble about IAP prices in the first place. If the devs wants some money, then so be it, people can buy to support devs, that's neat.
I am, however, concern about the number of IAP contents as Sky go along, it's getting stacked up pretty fast, with annual events and new designs. Imagine a new player just enjoy their first event only to see there are 20 IAP items on the shop lol.
