The hexagon doesn't recharge, it would likely make the item way too powerful. The charging mechanic in the quest is to ensure folks who may only have a few stars on their capes can also complete the quest without too much struggle. The pillow is decorative, like a throw pillow rather than a stool. If it had more functionality it would likely cost more candles and/or hearts. You're welcome to leave something in #wishlist-and-ideas-archived for a new item that does have more functionality.

That being said, Shared Spaces—the system these items were designed for—is still super new and we'd love to hear ideas and feedback about how you would like to use the feature so we can continue to help it grow

shared spaces are not private, any player can walk up and engage in the area, regardless of who has "control" of it at the time. The only private part is when you're in editing mode by yourself.

I know you meant that, but the other side of that stormlocked homespace is the inability to join back with your friends in eden since there is no merge. Good if you want to be alone, but impractical if you got separated in Eden and want to go back to the others and finish it together.

Personally, a really good private space for me that no one else goes to is the floating buildings next to the oob colluseum. There's one in the back with an 'inside' where no one ever disturbs you

If a space is being actively edited and/or shared, there is some matchmaking wizardry going on in the back end that limits joining with strangers, so folks don't always load into an occupied space, but doesn't allow you to kick people out of an area they are already in, if that makes sense.

That probably means the Krill might need AI adjustments if bugs like that are happening.
They're meant to spot us if we don't hide, but spotting from across the area doesn't add up. I've never had that issue so it sounds like a bug.

Ngl, I wanted home trick to be patched as well, and tbh it's not really that hard to avoid krills, just need perfect timing, coordination (if you're with friends), courage and you just need to learn their route.

It might be hard and scary, to be krilled, on 1st timers but getting krilled is just part of the process of learning the game. You experience it, and you learn and you grow.

a krill spotting you from across the map is most likely due to you being merged into another instance where a krill's position is completely different from where you see it; i'd imagine the game server thinks the krill sees you, so it's telling your game a krill is looking at you -- but on your own local game, the krills won't suddenly "snap" to new positions when you're merged into a new server, which is probably why your own game processes it as you being spotted from the other side of the map

Butterflies can’t follow you to the wall before the prophecy cave. It’s quite a long distance and the only thing you csn find there is clouds on the both ends. So you can’t possibly travel that long distance from the butterflies area without a cape

When the table glitch happened where you could teleport really high in the map, butterflies have come to me even there I don't claim to know the logic behind how butterflies work, but I know they can appear to you as long as you're in a map where they appear

I think I might recognise that behaviour: it looks very similar to what happened early on in Assembly beta testing if you flew through the gate at the beginning of Forest to trigger the Assembly cutscene while going forward, where the game tries to pull you back to the correct point for the cutscene and you instead plummet downwards through the clouds into a reset wall. Looks like the game was still trying to send the moth back to the tutorial point as soon as handhold/table anchoring was broken

it's almost like every time a season overlaps with daylight saving, things get a little squirrelly for an hour in one direction or another.

it has to do with how timers are set, usually when those are established it's months before the time change and not on anyone's mind.
