Chat can get chaotic during the invite waves. Slowmode is for slowing things down and make people read and avoid spammig.

I had sky beta until 2 days ago. This e-mail is also registered. And now when I look at it it doesn't show up in testflight. Please I want to get it back

It’s because of the access wipe. You’ll get access to it once you get in another beta test round

I know I’m apart of the Prophecy generation of beta testers, so I’m not sure what the time period is in between testing times. But I don’t think the invite waves will be this week...
But again, patience is virtue.

slow mode in the invite channel doesn't actually do anything since the only people who can post in there would all have immunity to slow mode

I'm gonna give you all some tough love. The invites will come and go in the next few days. Some of you will get in, and some of you won't. Accusing others of trying to steal spots or being pessimistic about your chances won't help. Staying up all night might increase your chances, but hundreds of others will have the same strategy. The best thing you can do is take care of yourself and be gracious to others. Those qualities will follow you everywhere.

Also for all the future beta testers, beta is full of bugs and stuff xD yes you can experience things before it goes on live but more importantly it’s for bug hunting so that there won’t be too many bugs when it actually goes live. Things in beta aren’t finalized too so it’s not that we are experiencing things exactly the way they will be in live before hands anyways hahhaha

invite waves are random. ktjn is the only one doing them, and currently it is almost midnight in california, although she has stayed up to accommodate different time zones before. Please be patient and remember that our devs are human and they need rest, just like all of us

Also, I saw that some people are saying that they’re staying up all night to wait for an invite wave...

DO NOT!! They’ll send out invites repeatedly over the span of two days to give every time zone a chance to join beta. So unless you sleep all day, you’ll be able to have a chance at joining beta and keep a good sleep schedule.

Just make sure you're phone is not on silent and you're notifications are on. You will get pinged if you reacted to the post in #beta-faq
