Personally I can’t speak for everyone but I feel one thing the devs need to work on atm is the bloom/glare in certain areas, it’s like staring at the sun sometimes. Take the home area (during the day, at least) for example, your battery’s going to go down the drain if you’re wearing a vibrant colour.

I encountered the burning dark plants hint before in live when I was cring in isle, I thought it was odd thou

the UI for placing message boats shares the UI system for the fireworks staff, we made some changes for message boats that ultimately impacts the ui for the fireworks staff which is why i mentioned it in the release notes
there was no hint text for burning plants that required higher cape power before, you just...couldn't burn the plant. now there is hint text indicating it's a cape power thing not a network issue, if that makes sense?

The race ones don't really have cutscenes, the spirits just do the emotes and you copy them and that's it (once you light the statues on the platform). So there's not really anything to relive with them

it's a spell that you activate in the menu. buy them from lizard man's boat. you have to stand in the water to place it, and it can be placed in any water except valley rice rink water.

I wouldn't worry about it too much when we have lots of content rich build updates, wyiott. Don't want you to burn yourself out trying to cover everything. Even partial/anecdotal data while you're doing your regular exploration is very useful for the team. Spotting trends or reports on unusual behavior is usually what QA is on the lookout for.

if you see someone with new items that haven't been announced or mentioned in #beta-announcements it's a hack. And it's also a pretty dumb and inconsiderate thing to do on that player's part. the items and content aren't ready to be released by tgc, and experiencing the surprise/presentation is super important for genuine feedback
For sanctuary, I did my best to avoid spoilers and went in blind into Prairie to search for it. If I had been spoiled, my experience/feedback on finding the entrance would have been a lot less genuine.

Every once in a while I play on beta to see how things have changed. Everytime its so jarring and unexpected. It's almost like an alternate universe version of sky. Everyone has beta capes and the servers are empty. The world is littered with paper boats in every area, but no friend in site.

The change is that they added the part that says you can drag to interact. They added it for the boats and since the Fireworks staff uses the same UI code it got added there too

It's most probably a bug. I reported it twice: once after the previous update and again after this latest one. I even bought out the Isle constellation to see if it made any difference.
