Where tickets problem isn't exactly a problem when the community spend so much time making guides and there are plenty of other ways to mitigate that issue than idle wax tickets, I don't think this method is to fix that anyways it's to encourage us to click on memories at the runway but so far most people afk instead

The community guides did help a ton, though sadly it showed how it was difficult to find them in some events (like they're so spaced out)
Hopefully in future these tickets are better placed and better visible that many players won't have to rely on guides and get them on the get go

Or it would be nice if we do more activities with the event features or spirits for a ticket, instead of running around to find them (like majority tickets obtained from interactions, compared to wild ones lol)

We are putting the dev in hard position. Coz there is issue being the ticket placement being boring... but it is tough for the beginners... or the sight issue but i think recently the tickets does deep call which makes it easier to find? although photosenstive people would have issue

I like moonlight as an event and the tickets being tied to lantern replies is fun for me personally because I enjoy replying, but I feel like not everybody will enjoy it the same way, some people don’t even like the comments feature at all so it’ll be interesting to see how the event is received. I do hope folks like it though, for the most part lanterns have been so wholesome and silly!

Like these methods are being implemented so players have to engage with the event to get the tickets but players don’t always want to whole heartedly engage which is like why idle wax seems like afk time and lanterns seems like leaving the same comment on every lantern if you can’t be bothered to participate

I think you’ll have that in any setting to be honest, I doubt it’s possible to create an event / a feature that’s universally liked.

Some players don’t really care for the riddles or lanterns, and that’s okay too. From Moonlight I did get a lot of fun and sweet responses, and the “.” answers didn’t impact my experience tbh! They didn’t take the upper hand

I have a different experience because I was feeling social . I wasn’t necessarily counting the minutes today, but just lighting players and checking the rotations & memories.

Didn’t really feel like a long time that way, but I can imagine it’s a little bit more tedious to do every day. (However with Style I feel we all just go back to the event area multiple times a day )

hi beta! my friend asked about event ticket items from last year* now costing hearts/candles. i know beta prices aren't final, so i was wondering how people would feel if rather than doing that, the total amount of event tickets that an event costed was redistrubuted between the older and newer items!
i feel like how it is now is just punishing to players who didn't participate last time, but with my suggestion, players are still spending the same amount of time collecting event tickets as last year (since the total is the same) even if items seem cheaper. this seems less punishing to me

I think the current situation is fine as long as the price remains unchanged:
You can choose to log in every day during the event and do a few simple operations to get all the items through EC, or you can wait a year and use ordinary currency (according to the anniversary event, the exchange rate is about 1EC=2~3 candles) to get all the items.
Since ordinary currency does not need to be limited to time, you can get it anytime and anywhere, so the one-year waiting time is equivalent to a punishment.
Of course, you can also directly use ordinary currency to exchange EC and get all the items, the exchange rate is 1EC=6 candles, and the extra part of the ratio is used to offset the one-year waiting time.

i started out with not a full candle but the wax isn't giving me enough to fill a 4th candle (fully) till the point that i started out from. It takes about 15 minutes or so with the server error which appeared once. Definitely not into doing this.

Sky Beta is a testing and experimenting ground so there's bound to be more bugs than live. And they eventually fix them every update. The updates aren't always regular so you can't expect when and how it'll go down for beta sky

And tgc takes live updates priority usually (bc yk, live game is their main source of income)

my only advice would be to assume that each spirit will be at least 150 candles in total and go from here

it's not really to rush a whole bunch of traveling spirits in one go, but more like to give you a head start in advance of those spirits coming back as traveling spirits

so it's absolutely fine if you can't get everything from the four spirits and as little as a week. you're able to take the pressure off of getting some items in just four days down the line

My theory is that it’s not a prescripted concert, it’s player led like the one-off Skyfest concert that had sudden testing done a few weeks prior in beta.
They’re testing the avatar system again soon.
The whole season gimmick/sell point is also about teaching players music. But I think there is a technical difficulty in getting things ready on time for non-staff to be displayed to multiple servers so it works in a festival tech set up.

I’m sorry, I must have read it wrong. I thought it was odd that developers would be playing the game for testing nothing out of the ordinary that isn’t on the Live game already, something different must be happening.

Also, I just returned from watching the game developer’s chat before making the statement. There’s a lot of emphasis on the players learning to play and playing their own songs on the engine. The previous appearances of Jenova chen this year in interview mention concert and metaverse, and at keynote there was discussion of the new avatar system for multiplayer live broadcasting and such, and also the sudden concert that was tested. So it is majority unfounded speculation and theory unfortunately, but I don’t think it is like AURORA concert either.

Usually if you're not a tester it can be helpful if you mention in your feedback so devs can know you haven't experienced the thing directly, but they still value your thoughts and you might think of things that testers miss, so don't let doubt hold you back

For this season, apparently the testing ended twice. The first time, my seasonal candles were converted but not the second time. By right, season should only end once so probably it would make more sense. As for whether, it will be converted later or will it be brought forward / removed, I'm not able to tell.

They actually put out a patch for it in beta, but it only seems to work for people who did the quest after the initial bug, so anyone who waited, or alts. This also means live is fine. The affected accounts from the bug are only the ones in beta.

So whatever affected those accounts in that specific update, is fixed for any future people, but unfortunately those accounts are still stuck for the time being
