You can find the seasonal cosmetics in the “cosmetic shop” after doing Quest 1. You’ll see some mannequins!

I would like to note about the lack of players in Aviary right now, it’s likely an intentional thing, given the area is supposed to be a desolate and forgotten land, WE’RE supposed to be restoring the area on our own with the Hopeful Steward, in an effort to bring back life to the area. Only then would it make sense to have other players once we restore the area from its gloomy state it’s in.

There's an interesting thing I discovered about the 'other' OOB area of the Aviary that's connected to the non-OOB area [text wall incoming]

To the west side of the OOB area there's an isolated square-ish island that's kinda separated from the rest of the map. If you're lucky enough with the camera angle / successful with the chibi-fall trick one might see inside that island the same room where we can go buy the cosmetics from them mannequins 👀
And there's a cave-in on one side of that island that teleports you right outside that season shop in the non-OOB area

Yikes, it’s possible to “open” the new Eden portal by chibi-stepping straight down through the top, although under current conditions, even when the stone doors are open and the star barrier is accessible, there’s only an empty stone room, not real Eden antechamber

I just got into this game from the demo, "beat" the game and understand the core gameplay loop. I think I have the season mechanics understood but I can't find any seasonal spirits to get seasonal hearts. Am I not understanding something?

Seasonal hearts are gained when you buy everything from a seasonal spirit. You get them at the very end, don't worry!

oahh crazy idea, jus a theory - the new seasonal area is not going to replace home, home will remain as it is as with its set of portals to the realms we know. the idea is the seasonal area you will now be able to enter, and the ruined portals will eventually become active but to new realms slowly over time i dunno how long. so instead of creating a new lobby its jus adding another whole set of possible realms to the game that could maybe come out in further seasons ./////. like a seccond level of realms beyond home

I don’t think it’s replacing home in the same way that the Nintendo Switch’s sidescrolling Home didn’t replace their Home.

It’ll function just like Home does, with the portals to all the realms, closet access, and access to a constellation table; but with added things like making a space for the old items from Days Events for a time, seeing that they aren’t all returning at once anymore. It’ll function like a little marketplace!

I've been thinking it's going to replace Home since the first teaser released. There's just too much similarity to Home, but in a bigger package, for it to just be a new area. It has a door to, presumably, Eden, and that was in the teaser video! Why would it have that if it's not a replacement or potential alternate to Home?

New realms could be difficult to implement, though I do like the idea of it. The original 6 (7 including Eden) realms tell the story of Sky, and serve as a "journey through life" with birth, life, death, and rebirth (see the poster in ||secret area, The Office||) and it's hard to see where we'd go from there. It would kind of defeat the symbology of the game.

However, it would be nice to have a few more.

I even had an idea where we could... "rent" props (even ults, maybe, temporarily like in Style?) in exchange for a small amount of candles or hearts (2-3 candles or 1 heart) for use only within our own personal housing.

Maybe have access to a few house template we could choose from, to find a layout that suits us/our design goals, as well. I see a lot of potential with Aviary in the future.

Hey, this may be old news, but is there a way to access the season of shattering if I completely missed it when it was here? I'm trying to look for tutorials, but I either get that it can't be accessed now that the season is over, or I can access it by meditating at one of the shard eruption sights after cleansing the darkness

Throughout the week shards will fall at certain times. If it’s a red shard (ascended candles) it will give you the option to mediate and you’ll be able to access the area there’s I think 4-5 different areas and change on each shard

Was thinking the same! It was cute, in a sort of horrifying way (considering the guide is now a ghost that likely knows they were locked in stone for an unknown number of years).

Also, the puppetry of the models has gotten really good. They used to have very limited ranges of motion, in very limited spaces, but now they're literally leading us and guiding us places! Even jumping over rocks (which is normally risky to do, because it's hard to program NPCs to do and account for)!

I tried to do the first Revival quest with my friend, but it skipped big parts (spoilers): || We couldn't melt the darkness and my friend totally skipped the entire quest after reviving the rhythm guide ||

simply said, the place is terribly windy for person A.

trying to cross the door will only break hand hold and person A got left behind. A could warp to B inside and B can bring A around. But A have to rely heavily on B due to the harsh wind and letting go will only blow A back to the door (and since the door is still closed, A will literally get stuck there)

there are some safe spot tho, like the area between eden gate and the line of portal, and inside the shop (be it the seasonal cosmetics shop or the hairstylist)

There are times when you are alone in Sanctuary Islands, you can burn the dark plants without problems but no player will appear to help you and when you are with other players it is impossible to burn the dark plants and the spirits fail they cannot be revived
