A thing to note is that heat rewards can't be skipped. If you complete a heat 1 run then the next reward will be your heat 2 rewards regardless of what heat level you actually set

I doubt the 9000 frames are handcrafted. They animate the frame and create a sprite out of it. They simply don't have the capacity to hand draw all of them.
Of course the game is more performant because the engine need not render the model constantly. But you pay for that in file size

Per the math in the Steam post; 104 frames times 32 angles times 2 other weapon aspects (3 now that ||Rama|| has been added).

Hades Weekly Challenge #10: "do hard stuff with the Dad Spear"
trouble is: I don't know how to use the Dad Spear. I died time and time again. Then, I had an idea: what if I didn't actually use the spear?
I decided to use a cast build. After I died a few times, I decided to build around poseidon dash instead. Unfortunately, wasd wasn't working out for me. I couldn't precisely aim my dashes to land on top of enemies. Thus I began to use the controller. Then, one day, I picked up Trippy Shot and, naturally, tried to use it. unfortunately controller aim sucks, so I couldn't hit anything, and when I switched back to KBM I couldn't hit with the dash.
That's when I realized: to do well at the game... you have to be able to move precisely and aim precisely. You need to use... a controller and a mouse.
I never finished the weekly challenge.

@coral verge the controller uses a light rumble for fake outs, and a distinct vibration for actual catches, so yeah I highly recommend keeping a controller on hand just for fishing, even if you play kbm, I find it more reliable to catch fish that way bc I can react to the vibration faster than I can the flash of light on the screen
