FWS is the leader. She is LoA. The matching tag for it is Heavenly Shift which is what you want the supports to have

VBm is not a leader so we're only going to look at her tags. She doesn't have it.

Mobius has no astral ring stuff so obviously she doesn't have it either

normally we would only expect to see the leader skill at the bottom be 1/3 fulfilled

by it's 2/3 because of that omniscient star tag that RoO valks have

But that's all that the RoO valks are giving you. They don't interact with core mechanics of the LoA ring type. They cannot reduce swap cooldowns, perform heavenly link or stellar shift.

anyway i used VBm coralie since she doesn't have the tag.

Vita does have the heavenly shift tag though so her being RoO is irrelevant/not the priority when she supports FWS kiana

what's important about vita is she's heavenly shift and therefore does provide all the core gimmicks an LoA team would do

here's a rough and old glance at possible damage modifiers in the game

ok that idea is fine lol

just don't hone on any particular one. You kinda want a balance across as much as you can get, while also getting alot if possible

sometimes this balance gets skewed because one source provides too much you can't ignore

but also you don't have as much control over your parameters as you do in other games

"substats" (affixes) in this game basically all want atk (and crit dmg for physical. Only non-bleed phys can crit in this game.)

everybody wants their signature equipment, and teammate choices can be quite close and balanced as long as they match the ring type

there can still be some choices but they're not as major especially if you're not competing at a top level

the games are different so analogies aren't really perfect unlike between the other hoyo games where the systems are pretty much the same

ok let's breakdown all the layers

first of all we have the captain levels

• master is 70-80
• exalted is 81-88

second of all we got the actual abyss tier

• sinful (lower)
• agony
• red lotus (higher)
  (exalted has a ton more but don't worry about that for now)

then within each abyss tier, you are fighting against floors of enemies of a particular hp/def/res scaling. Higher abyss have naturally higher bulk to chew through

in exalted, you're grouped with players of the same abyss tier too. So red lotus players are grouped together, agony players are grouped together etc

within each group (bracket) all players are ranked against each other. higher places lets you win trophies which determines how you promote or stay in an abyss tier (RL, agony, etc). https://i.imgur.com/QTOY76y.png

but you can see how much you can gain from each cycle at specific captain and abyss tiers

so this is why doing well is important

it's a very big difference if you're doing poorly in forbidden tier at 180 crystals a cycle, vs red lotus which is 500 a cycle

So while its not a terrible pull and has permanent value behind it, its not a necessary one to say the least

Crystallums are a Battle Pass Currency that can be exchanged for Valkyries and Equipment in the Reserve Works. Captains who purchase Knight or Paladin BP can also access the BP Works of that patch for 3 versions.

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:

For long term f2p meta purposes, you should not pull HoHE's new weapon that reruns soon.

The weapon does give HoHE more modern astral ring functions and only costs 60 rolls so it sounds nice

but HoHE as an astral ring unit is very lackluster compared to other new releases you can get instead.

you prob should stop. Ether fuel and source prisms can be hard to get enough of early on

you need your source prisms to upgrade other prism stigmata you will get for newer valks. Each stig takes 7 prisms to fully upgrade

so you need a total of 21 to bring all three slots to max

I would argue for your current goals which doesn't seem to include high meta, you're not going to appreciate her greatly over other future valks instead. Astral ring stuff in part 2 are alot more balanced actually

so maining a single valk or team will make you inflexible and incapable of handling many situations competently

So just beware of the grand picture of things and ask for help when it comes to consuming resources often (again the big ones are crystals/supply cards, honkai shards, and source prisms)

if you understand the possible benefits and consequences then it's fine to make any decision in the game really. Don't feel forced into any decision of the game. The help you get here is purely information for your consideration.

Ai-chan recommends that you keep the box until you have a use case for one of the weapons. Both Purana Phantasma and Nocturnal Stealth have their uses. Key of Ego is generally not recommended.

If you insist on opening the box immediately, Purana is likely to have more usage long-term due to the team tdm buff and RC being able to quickly debuff enemies which may be useful for SS MA.

but SI does have one buff that can help HoHE so she's not the worst

i don't want to go into too much details for a valk you prob won't care too much about but

get paint stacks from QTE'ing or attacking enemies with ult taps (icon is displayed above her hp)

use ult with enough sp

this will cause her paint stacks to be shared with party members

red paint lets you do 20% more total damage to unshielded enemies

but that's why we may recommend holding off for now. If you force yourself to get HLE now, you won't have her weapon which is important for meta uses, and your crystals and pity are already spent before you can consider something else.

Generally speaking

• 7t only sees niche uses atm on HoO (and next patch ||it might have no uses at all considering how that new valk matches HoO completely, esp if you're getting her||). HoT is the original recipient but has fallen completely to LV in the meta
  • At that point 7t isn't any different from any other dkey. It's just +10 atk. If you need it now for a particular situation then sure, take it or any other dkey you don't have. Otherwise hold off. 10atk isn't much and you never know if a future giveaway will give a dkey in a more restricted pool where it may force a dupe on you otherwise.

as for flawless benediction, i don't generally recommend it especially for meta purposes if you're new/developing.

I only would consider it if you're a hard ely fan or if you're a big spender that's going short term into the high meta.

that's more up to you. Generally speaking you're mainly looking to save 90 rolls worth of crystals at worst

but when it comes to 15 minutes per attempt, moving to a separate hoyoverse account from your other games possibly, it may not be your cup of tea

we do have pins on the rerolling process too

90 rolls is alot but also in the grand long term scheme of things isn't tremendous either

I think I get it, meta is very linear and is always on the latest battlesuit so reruns aren't worth it. That actually gives me another question though, does that mean you pretty much have to wait at least 3 patches to get a full team if you're spending optimally and not getting rerun suits? i wouldn't exactly say linear.

The reason why it's generally on the latest battlesuit is more due to

• f2p budget. You simply cannot afford all new releases as is, so there's no room to afford anything further
• relevance. a valk's prime use is mainly on their release patch. i can go into more details about abyss schedules if needed
• longevity. this one is a bit of a stretch. we're not seers and some valks do last longer than others in some ways but usually newer releases are expected to live longer than an older release naturally.

can you define to me what a full team means to you?

• I won't lie. the current state of new releases can be very awkward where core functioning supports aren't available. we do sometimes make pinned guides on using the gacha valk alone the best you can but these do have a large gap
  • hle in particular is nicer than other grail dps since she can go into negative sp though, easing on her requirements compared to PAWS
• we do have some farmable astral ring valks. in some cases these may match with a new release more closely
• some events may also give away other valks or at least make them more available, easing on team demands
• for the less patient players, i am open to considering a recent rerun backpull but again this depends on the player and if they're informed enough. arguably it's not as efficient long term but personal tolerance and enjoyment are important too

• astral ring valks are quite flexible. a few valks can rotate in leadership to form multiple teams depending on how their ring type and tags match up

but overall 2-3 newer astral ring gacha valks is when you can really expect to get account performance going yes. Although for meta purposes, you're going to get way more than 3 valks too. You need a wide roster to cover a wide variety of abyss scenarios

Hey, Captain!

In Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2, most new Valkyries will have a Stigma Option box given for free! But when should you use them?

If you are pulling for the corresponding weapon, you should open the box AFTER you have 2 different pieces of that stigmata set already. These stigma boxes are optimally used to finish a stigmata set. This also applies to Part 1 stigmata boxes, if you have any.

If you...

• Obtained the weapon before you got at least 2 stigmata set pieces, stop pulling! Open the box to get the best piece and then craft any missing stigmata (you can find these in Foundry).
• Already got the full stigmata set before the weapon (there are high chances that you did), keep the box as a collectible or open it, select a random stigma and salvage it for Source Prism.
• Are skipping or have skipped the corresponding weapon but want to get the Stigmata set, open the box first for the best piece then craft the other two via Foundry.
• Skipped the weapon and do not intend to craft the Stigmata set, you have no urgent reason to open the box, so keep it.

Regarding Bronya: N-EX, you can open the box once you own T or B and use it to finish TB. M is not BiS on SW.

Your sig is like 30-50% of your damage and some utility, ranks do not increase your damage remotely that much

each dupe gives 50 fragments

you might unlock an intermediate rank like s1 from fragments of other sources like stamps/battlepass/spending events/etc though

Weapon dupes at this point have their own upgrade system called synergy

gacha astral ops go from S > SS > SSS

Dkey is two things. Firstly, flat bonus to your account, small but it adds up. Secondly, it can be used for combat.

In the case of stellar keys (the three newest dkeys) they give a part 1 battlesuit part 2 mechanics, so they make the battlesuit better on modern teams

HoHe got a dkey that allowed her to use the p2 mechanics (astral ring)
and that is how she sees modern day use

p1 teams are unfortunately out of meta and do not get priority in abyss either through weathers (stage buffs) or relevancy

i would assume that you're missing buffs for large periods of time

The vbm things and since I switch to paws instantly after vbm buff, both of their buffs should be up for the majority of the fight

generally you want to spam inputs when they're close to being doable with the exception of stuff on cd/missing resources, in that case start pressing the button when you have enough or its off cd

low fps especially 30 or below will also hurt your score quite a bit, if your phone doesn't run it well try to play on pc

doesn't have to be a high end pc since you can adjust resolution unlike on mobile

Instead of adding the paws cba and vbm in between?

Since I think if I keep the same so timing and just do the hle part I would do the dmg before the phase change mechanic part

if you have her weapon she's still a good wod support and has dps weathers, don't expect too much though since the standard at higher abyss ranks will be ss+

yes and no, she sees use in some scenarios ||and will see increased use next patch as a wod support, although not sure how much better than existing options||
but as a dps she is basically gone

can argue a case of using her in ma, but her gear isnt really worth crafting over newer unit gears if that makes sense which means she is just there for the most part

also her main utility for ma (her timestop) is weapon locked so if you were going for higher scores that is issue #2

can try her out and see how she performs and if its what you need
