In terms of regular sources if you join a good armada you can get dorm cards there by doing the thingy where you donate 8 lots of materials then you can select dorm cards in the rng pool

But for beginners you get some from sensei and starter manual phases

With 2 worlds opened at the same time those tasks eat huge amount of stamina, which I'd rather spend on campaign or something.

PvPvE at exalted and PvE before then
before exalted (lvl 81) its just clear in time, more rewards as you go higher in rank (sinful/agony/redlotus) and tier (based on your account level either beginner's abyss, elite, masters as examples)

at lvl 81 its PvPvE you and a bunch of other players in a bracket will clear stages and the faster your clear the higher your score, the players with the higher scores will be able to promote to higher ranks and get more crystals
if you do not pull, you will not be able to compete against these players and will significantly lower your crystal income

Difficulty in abyss is not fixed, the difficulty keeps rising to match newer valks being stronger

and depending on your abyss tier and rank the amount of crystals you can earn fluctuates heavily

memorial arena are 2/3 bosses (depending on your tier, tied to account level) that you have to use seperate characters and gear to complete (you cant use the same character and their equipment on 2 different bosses, hence there is an emphasis for owning more units)

elysian realm is a rogue like endgame mode, you pick a valk, progress through floors getting buffs at each one, and fight a boss at the end. Depending on the difficulty you choose you can also get more rewards (crystals capped out at 2.25x difficulty, max difficulty is 2.75x)

both reset once a week

I also made a guide regarding elysian realm that we have pinned in this channel, under it is the recommended buffs (signets) to pick up for each valk as well instead of blind picking random buffs

If you do plan on rerolling, the recommendation would be to reroll for either of the 2 starter banner characters since they are pretty strong supports
otherwise just pull the new weapon on equipment supply A (silverwing's divine key)

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:

Yes the only thing which is really worth it is Silverwing's stellar key Blue Thunder Shuttle.
You can get one of the starter banner valks for an easier start but it isn't optimal in the long run.
In general focus on having enough crystals to get next patch's valk over both options.

those are just some general build options, it's still a decent team but HoV leader would be better here

at some point you may opt to use vbm as your other DPS in game modes like MA that require 2 teams at first so that's when you'd maker blastmetal the leader

they're reffering to a certain buff on the weapon, this buff can change from weapon to weapon but we can take the most common buff as an example here, as you can see one sync would improve both buff multipliers by 2%, now because the buffs are independent ( they're a separate multiplier in the dmg calculation ) this roughly equals a direct 4% dmg increase as a DPS or 2% DPS increase for the DPS if the character carrying the weapon acts as a support.

This buff isnt really that relevant in Redlotus or below simply because you can often times adjust your rotation and outskill other players to still get into the top 3 in you bracket , once you get to nirvana where more people have a better understanding of the game and how rotations work these buffs become more valuable simply because there is less room to outskill other players, though even in nirvana you can get by with easily sync 1 ( so just pulling the weapon once )

hence why we suggest staying at sync 1 for most players especially f2ps

Reverist Calico has no endgame use but she's a good budget pick for early game on a lot of things

The only thing which is really worth getting currently is Blue Thunder Shuttle, but early on you can use some setups which doesn't require pulling.

You can try to get one of the starter supply valks but this is a sketchy long term decision which is harder to defend if you are fully f2p

Do you think it’s worth it?
Also considering that, through the daily login reward, the character Herrscher of Void will be unlocked tomorrow.

After chapter 8 all story missions use trial characters so you can only use what they give you and what you own doesn't matter for that.
Level rush can be worth it, not for the characters which doesn't help you at all, but for crystals as this is the best return in crystals for any spending. #👶beginner-help message

yeah it's supposed to appear once you start the account, as for the stuff you already obtained on your account i'm more than certain that you could get everything back in a new account, but if you're not really interested in meta and/or are fine with taking a bit longer but staying on your email is also totally fine. If you're using a gmail you can also salt your email ( essentially placing a dot in the email name so hoyo detects it as another email but it still links to your original one) but it's totally up to you

It is a gmail account yeah, and also I will admit. I did in fact play this in the past for like five minutes and never touched it again until recently (since probably early dec last year i mean). And as I said, I'm still just following the guide from hoyostans at best so I do want to get a full experience of the game. Yes the last 15 buff doesn't give a buff for bows this week so it is likely harder then last week.

But yes HLE shouldn't have clear issues, so something else is going wrong. Try to look at the pinned signet guide for what signets to pick.

I would probably go for something like this for start buffs for HLE if you are going for the SO build.

if you're wanna tune it the game gives you a warning something along the lines of " if you tune this weapon you cant craft pri arm with it" what the game means it that you cant use this weapon to craft the pri arm of another weapon, this mechanic has been abondend with p2 anyway so dont worry about it too much, you actually want to tune the weapon to obtain the +10atk buff from it through the divine key menu and so that you can craft the pri arm of blue thunder shuttle at some point.
Pri arms are upgraded versions of a weapon that you unlock at like level 50

The warning that appears for tuning is translated poorly. Tuning a weapon turns it into a [Divine Key](#👶beginner-help message) - the warning tries to tell you that...

When tuned, the weapon:

• Cannot be salvaged.
• Cannot be used to craft a PRI-ARM that is not its own.
• Can be used to craft its respective PRI-ARM.
• Gives you Divine Key bonuses such as +10 accountwide attack (see the Divine Keys Menu).

-# Please note that if you pull multiple copies of a Stellar Key (Part 2 Divine Key) you tune the one you will be upgrading - note that locked copies cannot be used to upgrade its Synergy level until unlocked, which takes 24h.

A pri arm is essentially just an upgraded version of a weapon so that you can level it beyond level 50
By pri arming a weapon it obtains new passives and once you reach captain level 81 you can upgrade it up to level 65

So you can have it Pri Arm itself but not other weapons once it is tuned. And it is good to have it tuned bc it gives you passive buffs

basically, with p1 you could take the base weapon of the same weapon type and craft another pri arm of the same weapon type as long as you obtained the weapon which the pri arm belongs to, it's a bit complicated to descripe and not really relevant anymore so just dont think too much about it.
But yeah tuning a dkey is always good because you gain the passives buffs which you really wanna have

they're nice to have (accountwide attack, better support buffs, more dps damage)

but lower priority than Aops which are themselves mostly not needed

Basically, when you're pulling, the usual suggestion is to pull s0+1, ie, one copy of valkyrie, one copy of sig weapon, of new releases only

and then people with lots of crystals like whales can consider doing stuff like astral ops or dkey syncs or ranks or backpulls, but it's not needed and you can bounce nirvana without any of them

In the long run it doesn't matter, but the ideal order is:
1 - Grips of Tai Xuan (gloves, cope glove weapon and ice gene limit).
2 - Cleaver/Judgement of Shamash (guns/greatsword, need both to sync for +10 attack and fire gene limit).
3 - Jizo Mitama (katana, phys gene limit attached to it).
4 - Star of Eden (cannon, has no attached gene limit it just exists).

Some of the slightly newer divine keys in reserve works have a tiny bit of meta use, but are mostly for memorial arena or the bonuses

However, all the newest divine keys (stellar keys) still have use on their main user and are gacha only

Basically what you want to do is have your supports activate their buffs, then go out to the dps to dps until the buffs run out, then repeat

For RC, she buffs via her ultimate or her purple Ca

For VBM, she buffs wep wep jump attack wa (this makes 3 stacks of her buffs, but as long as her buffs haven’t run out you can refresh it with just jump attack wa)

Etcetera

It varies based on what supports you are using

In general for a part 2 Valkyrie you usually look at their stigma to see where the buffs are triggers but older Valkyries sometimes you have to go looking through their kit or ask for help

And also in general terminal aide is mostly a physical support while RC and VBm are generic, so they buff Ta more than Ta buffs them

But if you needed a fire psy dps say for a stage

You could use VBM as a dps

(And then once you have proper P2 gacha valks, all of those are supports and dps at once and all of them will blow these budget support teams out of the water)

In p2 teams the leader is the dps because they have large leader bonuses that affect whoever is first on the team

For VBM her leader skill is a nice team buff

For new accounts, if you’re willing the suggestion is to reroll for Badum or FDD, but rerolling isn’t for everyone; if you aren’t you’re going to want to either pull for Silverwing dkey (great if you have her but will take a bit for new accounts) or save for next patch

both are justifiable. In the short run, they're gonna be the same, in the medium run, having the dkey will be quite nice, in the long run Skipping dkey is maybe very slightly more crystal efficient

Basically, a new account (unless it's whaling or rerolling) will be running Senadina / VBM / VBS until next patch drops, at which point they will run ||seele / Senadina / VBM||. If you get Dkey, you can Run Silverwing with Sena ||and seele, or seele with silverwing support, both of which|| are quite nice

but either way it'll be a bit before you benefit
