It does feel like you're forced to keep playing so that you don't brick your account by miles cause of how the system works, I do feel like dropping it at some point but that fear of just coming back seeing whole new valks and being unable to catch up again feels sucky.

This is just me though honestly, I've stuck to just spending on monthly and sometimes battlepass, gave up on buying crystal packs

that's true, there is technically a way to come back after a while and be semi okay but it involves saving like over 80k xtals before leaving
