Not sure if anyone else has had this, but recently my Honkai client will not remember my credentials. I've cleared registry/appdata and reinstalled the game. Once I enter my credentials and log in, it will remember them for my windows session. But the moment I reboot, I have to enter them again. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

well if you already clear the cache of the game and even reinstall, the only thing that could be causing issues if you have like a "registry cleaner" and is just deleting/restarting the credential once the system is power on again, check if you have something like that, if not probably is going to be better to contact CS #how-to-contact-cs

the other could be a time out of the session if your network is slow... but doesn't sound like this is causing the issue for you

pretty sure that would fry most of the circuitry. integrated circuit boards iirc dont take well to large doses of microwave radiation, plus it would likely pop any resistor on it if i had to guess since they're essentially just fuses that just got heated up. and all that is assuming all that metal doesnt fry your microwave first since they do that when theres metal in them

there is some logic to the metal safe microwaves (basically just air fryers) heating up the solder to re-solder some loose soldering but im still highly dubious that just applying heat will fix anything without breaking anything else

~~that and the leet haxors of the 80's and 90's would literally throw all their hard drives in the microwave and set it to run if they though they were gonna get raided to make them totally unusable and no evidence because it demagnetizes them ~~

Steam client uses Steam ID directly, it does not use HoYoverse account etc.

Hi, I am a returnee. I noticed that I can no longer access my mihoyo pass and I read that I have to retrieve my account so that I can play it again. After I filled in the information needed to restore my account and they showed me the account I was referring to, I was asked to register using a hoyoverse account. then I registered a new email for the hoyoverse account. but after I did that, there was a confirmation page to link the account with a new ID that was different from my old account ID. How do I process this?

That's fine then, so first go to account.hoyoverse.com and log in with your Google account, and then once you're in go to the account security section and link an email address (it'll send the verification code to your email address) and then you can use the email and password to log in on pc

Well tbh that is going to be the issue, first sharing/selling/trading accounts is against TOS
And second that could be causing the mismatch, you are puting info that you know but doesn't match because the account have other info from the other person.

If you are asking for the game, TapTap have official HI3 apks but only for CN, for any other client is just a "mirror" so still can work, but not always (users already had problems before)

You can:

• retry the download
• Manually download the 7.0 files
• Use a custom launcher (check 1st pin)

choose any of those, or try one by one

not every version, just any that give that error message, a connection issue to the servers is likely what corrupted it

it did had an “upgrade” but i think is kinda slower than usual

i gotcha, when i said these ISP issues come and go i mean they usually only last 1-14 days on average, the issue is basically your network connection to honkai servers is getting routed through somewhere thats dropping network packets which is corrupting large single file downloads like the honkai update for instance

so thats why manually downloading from either mirror 2 or 3 (aka from a different source than honkai servers) should work and then by the time 7.1 comes out your connection issue wont be a thing anymore

thats kinda just how international internet traffic works, you just dont notice it for most websites/videos/etc because the video will just buffer for an extra second to redownload the next part or the files are many small files, not one large one. But the reason it finished downloading first before giving the error is beause the launcher downloads the file first, then checks it for errors and if it finds any then it gives that message

yeah its sustainable. it handles downloads better than the official launcher so its a much much less likely chance to fail. and i've been using the better launcher since like 5.0 it works good and wont get you in trouble, the creator of it is a mod here.

it doesnt even need to be installed, just download and run the .exe and it'll detect your installation and act like the regular launcher with a slightly different interface and options to do things like change the resolution outside of the game

ah i see what you're getting at, after the first 2 returnee events its 45 days every time but the special returnee event they were talking about said that if they're level 15, have not logged in for >60 days and did not do the returnee in 6.9 it would replace the regular returnee event with the special one so most likely they just hadnt logged in for 50 something days. the timer only counts the last time you logged in, not when the last returnee event ended that you were part of to my knowledge. either way its something customer support would have to sort out if they wanted a clear answer, too bad theres no way to check the last few login dates

its not possible to link your account with steam, its bound to your steam account and cant be linked to hoyoverse so despite those obvious downsides of not being able to do hoyolab stuff like daily check in and what not you dont have to worry about your account ever, just make sure you run the game with your steam account and all is good

you can auto update it by installing geforce experience

but to get the game to open, last thing i can think of to try is going to where the game is installed and right clicking on bh3.exe and clicking on properties, and in the compatability tab set the game to run in compatability mode for windows 8 and make sure that its set to run as administrator and then try double clicking bh3.exe. if that doesnt work then im out of ideas tbh so i'd recommend contacting customer support and let them know everything you've tried and see if they know whats causing it

yes, but the few times the server has gone totally down in the past no one can log in and theres usually around at least 50 people in here with issues and the channel has to go into slow mode, plus i tested it myself on NA on two different devices on two different networks both on and off of protonVPN on two different accounts and had no issues, even got into a co-op match with other na players no problem
