I honestly feel like the light indicator in wootility was designed by somebody who has never used this keyboard or has 0 imagination

1. Why can't we name any of the layers? It's kind of annoying...
2. There is an info box that says you can tie it to CPU usage, but I see 0 ways of doing that?
3. Dissapointed that the solid colour is so linear, you have to tie it to adjacent blocks? Why can't I have a solid colour on 1-2 and 9-10? Why does that require 2 layers? And then you cap us at 4

lube might have shifted. I'd always recommend relubing stabs yourself if you're particular about stabs - basically all stock stabs from most keyboard brands will be very hit or miss because factory lubing is never as good as a proper hand lubed assembly

Inside that, I was sent to a DPD website and needed to give my postcode to track the shipping

If it's still a big issues in a few days, definitely message DPD first as they're the ones who should now have the package

Have you considered looking at the internals of the motherboard?

I used to have a slightly similar issue (still a tad persistent, I take it as a tolerance or design flaw) and I managed to mostly fix it by removing and replugging the daughterboard cable.

In my case, when I move my wooting, even if a nudge, at times it will just disconnect and reconnect with varying amounts of time between them.

I'll probably have to do that. I thought that was the pre-production issue they were having that was supposed to be fixed. I swapped all the L60s for L45s and maybe that force of pulling out the old switches loosened up the daughterboard connection.

If it is a he keyboard then most likely yes, if it isnt though then no

Normal mechanical keyboards require the actual switch part in the switch (and not a unconnected magnet) and they also have wire feet sticking out for the contacts

Got my Wooting 80he yesterday! Love the typing feel and build quality. Rapid trigger also works great.

One issue I'm having is with Mod Tap + Go to Fn Layer. I like to have Mod Tap on my s key (the ; key on dvorak) to go to a layer when held and enter s when tapped.

My issue is that when I have to type a word that has s followed by another letter, the Mod Tap mode seems to be active immediately, which causes me to mistype the word. It seems like Mod Tap leans too heavily to the held mode.

I do not have this issue with my QMK keyboards, they seem to have the timing of held vs tapped figured out such that it doesn't affect my typing.

I tried changing the "override held mode timing" slider to something higher but it seems to have no affect whatsoever.

Going back to your disconnect issues @ornate pike I'd try switching the USB port you're using on your computer's end, and finally open up the keyboard and make sure the daughter board's connection is secure. Not sure otherwise.

I've used a lot of profiles, from OEM to low profile to cherry. They all feel sort of the same. I'd highly suggest low profile if you use cheap membrane keyboards though

I'm not too happy with logitech because the linux support is non-existing as far as I know

It was fine but the function row was inverted

you could undo this from the logitech software center but on linux I had to use someone's tool who added rules to revert this back to regular behavior

so that solution is pretty much unavailable for anyone who doesn't at least know how to compile a program

If you watch the video, you can see the key itself clicks down and that's when it starts having issues.

Hey, im planning about buying an 80HE, but I’m not sure about the case material. I’ve seen the post about the white Zinc alloy, that it will come back in few months as a v2. Did the color issue that happened on the white version have also affected the plastic white version, or why is there no white plastic version online?
