@sharp raft Home Seed for the Freighter alters the initial freighter crew as well as freighter colours (not looks/model and type). You can also adjust the crew through raw JSON edits for BaseContext > PlayerStateData > CurrentFreighterNPC. Change the Filename to model path for whatever scene you like (usually one of the races). Mine shows a robot for freighter bridge crew. Then additionally you can also change it to use a seed value, which further adjusts the looks of the model referenced (if possible)

Why are you refining it in your personal refiner? Drop a couple of refiners, medium or large, at your base, load them up and go for a toilet break with your phone or for a snack. When you are back you will have a couple of thousands nanites

Personal refiner uses fuel and will stop working when it has none, medium and large refiners just keep refining

At surface level on an all water planet? Build a base teleporter next to base icon, where your computer should be, power it, teleport out and back, computer should render in, use it to delete the base

Never build further them 1000u from the terrain or in this case sea floor. I don't think hg will make any changes to that, not in a long time

I've found that even if refiners are public, they were only accessible when the owner was present. Same as building on a friend's base. Is that abnormal?

I haven't played with anyone or their refiners in a very long time so my memory might be inaccurate

By the time of utopia redux you could put items in a refiner and another player could pull them out that allowed to transfer packaged technology

Idk at which point but later it seems like every player got separated refiners inventories. Meaning if I put an item in a refiner the refiner will still be empty for you and vice versa

Somewhere at that time it was also made so that when owner of the base isn't around you can't access refiners at all. It'll say instead that "object is in use" or something like that.
