I have this issue and i want to know if it’s a valid thing to contact HG about formally. I play on different platforms, Steam, PS5, and Switch when I’m on the go. I love cross-save and use it all the time. It works great for the most part, except one thing. And I’m really not sure if it’s even possible to fix. When you discover a planet, system, fauna, etc., it’s discovered by only that account. For example, if i scan a creature on my PS5, then while on my computer i want to rename it, despite the fact it’s the same cross-save, i can’t rename it from my steam account.

📚 Notes:

  • Portals don't have to be unlocked via any quest.

Well, i did the start of the game with a friend until we reach the the anomaly. after that we tried to do a base in coop. We both rebooted our games, tchecked if in network we are on allow placing building and destroy them.
My and my friend CAN destroy, but we cannot place. In the chat it say XXX has build plateform, it has retracted the carbon from the inventory but the building is not here ...

Allright, I'm at my wits end for how to recover this data, so maybe someone here will know what to do!

Around yesterday, I was making some changes to my file with a save editor to one of my corvettes. I then tried to launch the game, to be met with this screen (image 1). This is my main save, and I have zero clue why this is happening, my save editor even displays my items and progress properly (image 2&3), and the game itself displays my playtime properly (image 4). In addition, I tried copying over the same data to another slot (image 5), and was met with the exact same screen. I would absolutely hate to lose everything I've built, if someone knows how to fix this, please; ping me, DM me, whatever you need. Thanks so much for reading my text wall XDD

You are never supposed to have that item in your inventory, it's a dummy item meant to be read from to show info about a ship when hovering over it in a shop entry

Also, you could try deleting/relocating the more recent of the two save files to force it to load the other one, if you haven't already

You can travel with it you can turn it into a base store on your nine starships you can do fleets missions which are time events that last a certain amount of time and when they’re over they give you items all kind of things

I don’t think you can do that yet. You’re gonna do it the old-fashioned way play for three hours real time warp form times save and then warp a fifth time and on the fifth will trigger a capital ship event, but depending on where you jump can depend on what capital ship you’re getting if you want the coolest looking ones so far jump into a pirate system and then turn again. it’s warm engines first so it doesn’t disappear on you then take out it shields the little balls on both sides of the of the capital ship and then land and then talk to the captain
