She’s very ill and in need of brain surgery. Unfortunately the surgery takes place several hours away across her state which complicates the situation. After months of preparation, a Kickstarter for the No Man's Sky Atlas Tarot deck is ready to be revealed! It is a deck of 78 hand-drawn cards made by @ocean tiger, a fellow fan of the game. It is designed to fit both No Man's Sky Lore and classic Tarot, therefore they can be used for regular playing, reading, or simply as a No Man's Sky collector Item. @ocean tiger wants you to know that, with Hello Games' permission, this is a passion project for him that he wants to share with our No Man's Sky community.

Unfortunately, @twilit vale, who has been a cornerstone of the NMS community for years, has been battling stage 4 cancer and needs help as he manages many medical and other expenses, while also trying to support his children through this painful time in their life. A new signal rises across the ice.
Neoterra Collective invites all Travelers to a multi-builder collaboration event upon the frozen world of Frosthardt, a planet within the Neoterra system.
At its northern pole, a shared build site has been prepared—our foundation for a winter-holiday themed construction event, where warmth, light, and imagination stand boldly against the long polar night.
On <t:1765065600> (<t:1765065600:R>),the primary collaboration begins. Multiple participants will build together on one shared base computer, shaping the heart of Frosthardt’s North Pole into a festive communal haven. The collaborative effort will be open for 6 hours ending <t:1765087200> .
When the main build concludes, all community members are encouraged to establish their own small bases in the surrounding region, forming the greater Frosthardt North Pole, a constellation of outposts glowing across the tundra.
If you wish to join the collaboration, simply DM @eternal storm. You will be provided the glyphs, coordinates, and any travel details needed to reach Frosthardt safely.

Get Ready for the 1st Annual Grand Festival!From June 19–21, communities from across the No Man's Sky universe will gather beneath the Atlas for the 1st Annual Grand Festival. Content creators, long-established civilizations, and newly emerging communities will come together to showcase destinations, activities, stories, and experiences from all over. Visit the website for the full list of participants and the latest event schedule, and keep an eye out as even more festival activities and attractions are announced in the weeks ahead!
Inspired by the ancient Grand Festivals once attended by Travelers from across the stars, where NipNip flowed freely, fireworks filled the skies, and all gathered beneath the Atlas in celebration.
Expect community-built attractions, live activities, featured destinations, unique events, opportunities to meet fellow Travelers from both familiar and newly discovered communities, and a special fireworks show over the Festival Grounds throughout event days! 
Records indicate the Grand Festival was open to all Travelers, regardless of origin, allegiance, or standing. Lone explorers, thriving civilizations, merchants, builders, and wanderers alike gathered beneath the Atlas to share discoveries, celebrate achievements, and forge connections that would echo across the stars.

GekBall Evolution Tournament 2026 As I teased yesterday, our #nmscord-hub will participate in the Grand Festival by hosting an event of our own: a tournament of GekBall Evolution. 
What is GekBall Evolution?
GekBall Evolution is a modern spin on more traditional GekBall, which in turn is based on ancient Gek traditions. A match in a treacherous arena that tests participants' wit, agility, aim and ferocity, just as much as they test those characteristics in each other. This variant takes advantage of newly developed Gravitino Coil technology to play using a sphere on an arena of small suspended platforms
How to sign up?
Everyone is welcome to participate:
Sign-ups start on Monday 1 June and you can sign up by reaching out to bjorn_arekson (me) on 
Discord . Before reaching out, please review the information brochure linked below.
Sign-ups will close Sunday 14 June and at that time we will make the Arena open to the public. This is so as to give everyone who signs up an equal chance to practice in the Arena, including last minute sign-ups. You can also train on your own.
The Tournament begins <t:1782064800> (6pm GMT) and duration will be determined by the total number of participants.
Are there any rewards? 
Yes! We have two categories: Solos and Duets. Winners of each category will receive a role in our server that so far has been given to only a few, reserved as a reward for our events: the <@&1428256672119390328> role. This role uses an enhanced role style which at this moment no other role in our server has.
Where will this take place and can I come to watch?
Tournament will take place in our NMSCord Hub System. While we welcome anyone showing up in-game to watch, we will also be livestreaming in a Stage Channel in our server and on our YouTube channel 
@nmscord. The livestream will include introductions of participants, live commentary and more, so we encourage you to tune in.

The long awaited time has come after several months of not just planning, but also dealing with setbacks that included health issues for multiple team members, as well as technical issues with the game and ODS (Online Discovery Services) not playing nice -- which took a long time and effort to troubleshoot and narrow down. We want to thank our community for your patience and support through all of this. Especially those from the Atlas Emissary team who've been heavily involved behind the scenes, testing base uploads across platforms and analyzing all the data, which concluded in some fixes we were able to address on our end, and also in documenting bug reports we can present to HG. We also want to express our gratitude to the early settlers who started building unique bases showing off their skill and ingenuity in preparation for the Hub opening.
P.S. Once we open, we will post glyph coordinates and time frames when cabbie volunteers will be available to offer rides to the Hub.

📜 Mission Statement
NMSCord Hub is founded with the goal of being a casual and welcoming place where all players from our NMS community can meet and share in different ways, as we do in our Discord server. Players belonging to other in-game civilizations are all welcome. Our Hub has no organized political structure, no alliances, militias, forced censuses, roleplaying or required play times. It fosters a relaxed atmosphere with no prerequisites other than having access to the game. All players are welcome to visit and build. Occasionally we may announce in-game events but the idea is that players will suggest and organize them as a communal effort.
