Hey everyone not sure if anyone can help or if this is the right spot to ask but I'm running out of options. I got my first actual mic (shure mv7) along with the wave xlr. I've been trying to set this thing up for about 2 hours and the wave link software is not picking up any input from the mic. I have the xlr cable plugged into the wave xlr and the xlr is plugged into the pc. I honestly do not know what I'm doing wrong. Could someone please help me I would really really appreciate it. You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

Whoops, figured it out. The documentation doesn't specify that you need to enable TTS under TTS Setting on the overlay and since it wasn't specified I presumed it was intended to be left off.

Seemed a bit counterintuitive but since the rest of the documentation was letter for letter I didn't consider it that absurd.

Hey, so I'm running a campaign rn for marvel strike force, and it's properly tracking people hitting level 2. But about 1/3rd of the people that hit level 10 aren't counted towards the tracker

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

they have more, its just whatever you get sent. do remember there are plenty of ways to get sponsors, you arent limited to just what comes at ya in streamelements. a lot of companies have applications for it, others you need to contact their marketing departments. not all of them require you to be a big streamer either.

I don't think that only applies for campaigns i've had that with most widgets in screen atleast for me. Tried adding chatboxes and other things and either they make other things disappear, disappear over time or just not show up at all.

I also can't edit like the basic alertbox so it's softlocked to like the stock one and i can't even resize it. So it's kinda painstaking considering i had a sponsored stream going but i can't complete it any further ahead before this is ironed out.

I am having issues with the Duel Module on Streamelements, before people could duel for up to 10,000,000 points and now the max is 10K points. Going into the module, it only allows one to type 10K. How can it be reverted to how it was? Any help would be appreciated

The points system has trouble with points values over 2,147,483,647. Probably why it was changed.

I logged into the Streamelements account of another content creator and their Duel Module has nothing in the Maximum Amount value field, and they are able to duel in chat for more than 100K points. So it seems once you enter a number into it, it will no longer allow any value of over 100K, correct? Or is there a way to reset the Streamelements Duel Module?

there are multiple tutorials on youtube thatll go step by step. it really involves a few things to get it right, especially if youre streaming on twitch and want to split the music from your saved videos

in obs, click the "+" icon in sources. add a browser source, use the url from the overlay. add the dimensions of your overlay. would also recommend checking the box for control audio via obs if the overlay has sounds, like alerts, so theyll play on stream. also definitely recommend checking "shutdown source when not visible" if you use multiple scenes, that way its not running in the back. it helps with performance big time. also check "refresh when active" so that whenever you switch from another scene itll help reload the data

I have a credits roll for my ending screen which is a stream elements overlay. The problem is it's not working as it should. It should show any new tippers, subscribers and followers etc. But it doesn't. I got a new follow today but they didn't show up on the roll. Also I would like to further customise the roll to mention raiders. Any suggestions?

there are video tutorials on youtube from streamelements and other creators on how to do it, definitely recommend watching the tutorial so you can visually see how its done. but youll first need to download software to split your audio, like voicemeter banana. its free, also vb cables. all this will allow you to route your sounds and split them up. once thats configured per the tutorials, go into OBS. then right click on the audio mixer and go to advanced audio properties. for each audio source youll see boxes to the right. every sound that goes to your stream should have a check mark under "1". the sound sources you dont want for your vods should not be checked for "2". keep in mind this isnt a full tutorial how to do it, there is more to it that the videos will explain in more detail as there are a few things that need to be done to set it up correctly. typing it all here would take a full page lol
