Today is a big day for our Discord community! We are going to be implementing some changes, so buckle up, and please read through these changes to better your experience here within the StreamElements Discord server!

Ticketing System:

As you may have seen, we have incorporated a new ticketing system within the Discord. Our new ticketing system will allow Community members to easily submit a ticket using the !ticket command, and be able to talk back & forth with an SE Support agent to resolve their issue or question all within a Discord private channel.

We are making this change for two reasons:
To provide you with an improved process of requesting help within the Discord server
Make it easier for our Support Team to track requests for help & get back to you faster

You can learn more about this feature by checking out #submit-support-ticket, and follow the instructions there, as well as checking out our new support breakdown by viewing our new #how-to-get-help channel!

With this new system, we will transition to the next topic.

Sunsetting Helpdesk Channels:

On <t:1684166400:F> , we will be closing down the Helpdesk channels. We will leave the channels open to view, while no longer allowing any messages to be sent.

This change is being made so our Support Team is more easily able to identify when one of you needs help & will help keep your sensitive info off public channels. The new ticketing system should help improve the speed of getting your issue solved, so please take advantage of the new system located here:#submit-support-ticket.

Our goal is to make the server less of a troubleshooting house, and more of a collaborative hub for creators.

Role Assignment and Onboarding:

Another welcome update is we added ROLE ASSIGNMENTS!

Now you can select which updates YOU want to receive. So no more getting pinged on updates you don’t care about. 🙌

Now, it is open for everyone to hop into #role-assignment to pick the roles you want to be notified by! This can be reversed by clicking the button once more after selecting it a first time.

Community Events:

Our plans going forward are to bring back more community events to help open up communications with the community. Whether it’s doing more sponsorship workshops, or taking a deep dive into some of the SE tools, we want to ensure we give you the information you need to utilize StreamElements for your content.

To follow up with that, we have a new event next week called “This Week @ SE”. During this Discord Stage Event, we will be going over the BRAND NEW Elements Editor, with our Project Manager Ram. Please take a look at the event below, and RSVP if you’re interested in learning how to utilize this awesome tool!

Hey Folks,

We wanted to let you know that we've seen your mentions & messages and are aware of several issues affecting stability across a few of our tools and services.
We understand how frustrating this is, and we apologize for the issues this may be causing you & your community.

Here's an update on where we are currently:

Loyalty Points - This was addressed and a fix has been rolled out. We have also not seen any lost loyalty points. For the most accurate loyalty point stats, let your viewers know they can always check the Leaderboard.

Chatbot - We have issued an interim fix while maintenance is ongoing. In addition, Twitch has notified us of maintenance happening today(May 25th) So you should expect some irregularities in the next 24 hours, including some possible disconnects for some users until maintenance is done. If you are still running into issues, please try a part / rejoin of the bot to see if this corrects your issue.

Activity Feed Missing Events (mainly cheers) - we have issued a fix for this. If you're still running into issues, try a login / logout of the bot, as this is the best path for fixing this.

!Watchtime Command - The team is actively working on fixing this bug that causes incorrect stats when using the command within chat. Your viewers' watchtime is not lost & tracked correctly. If you have this shown on your Leaderboard, they can see the correct stats there.

Facebook - We are aware of the issue but we do not currently have an ETA. Once we have a better timeline in place, we will provide an update.

Once we have more updates, we will send out a public message to let everyone know everything has been resolved.

Hey folks - we're aware of an issue affecting some users trying to log into SE Live, resulting in a black screen like this.

To fix it, please try the following:
1️⃣ Close your current browser
2️⃣ Open Google Chrome
3️⃣ Disable any active VPN or Ad-Blocker
4️⃣ Log in again via SE Live

We haven’t seen this issue occur on Chrome, which also offers the most reliable experience across all StreamElements tools.

Consider setting Chrome as your default browser or opening a Chrome window before starting the login process. 🙏

TikTok handles access approvals based on their own internal policies. While we’d love to help more, StreamElements doesn’t have control over this process. We don’t approve or deny anyone for streaming to TikTok.

If you encounter this situation, you can reapply for access. You can do so by removing the TikTok output and reconnecting your TikTok channel through the Multistreaming dock.

We also recommend checking your TikTok dashboard to get a clearer picture of your current status and when you’ll be able to reapply.
