❓ How can I get a StreamElements Sponsorship?

Our Sponsorship offers are sent to channels based on the different requirements of the advertisers, which may include channel size, location, type of content, audience demographics, and more.

We cannot guarantee that a specific user will receive an offer, but keep an eye on your Dashboard and your Email for any new Offers that might come your way!

❓How does running a sponsored stream with SE.Sponsorships work?

First, you will receive a unique link which allows your community to participate in the sponsorship. Every viewer participating in the promotion using your link will count towards your goals.
We provide you with branded overlays, bot command, bot timer, and a Twitch panel graphic to add to your channel with your campaign link.
You stream your usual content with the sponsored assets, promoting the sponsor for the required sponsorship period.
For game Sponsorships: You will play the game for a period of time.
Feel free to promote the sponsor using your social media channels, Discord server, or any other legitimate way.
Once you are done, click “Complete Campaign”, and the payment will be automatically processed through our payment system.

❓Do I have to include the #Ad/#Sponsored phrase in my stream title?

Yes. StreamElements and most sponsors operate in the United States; the promotion must fulfill the FTC requirements for sponsorship disclosure, and #ad or #sponsored should be included in your stream title and any social posts with a campaign link.

❓Do I need to prepare unique assets or designs for the Sponsorship?

No, all the assets are provided for you. You can use these assets together with your standard stream setup.

❓How are my goals determined?

Your goals are personalized based on your channel’s performance in the past 30 days. Your base goal is calculated to be easily achievable with your average viewership. The stretch goals are goals other creators have reached with audiences similar to yours.

❓How are you tracking the goals?

We provide you with a unique campaign link your audience must use to participate in the promotion. Every new participant using your link will be counted towards your goal and appear in the overlay widgets and activity feed.

❓Are there limitations for new participants counting towards my goal?

Yes, on some sponsorships. Promotions can be limited by the geographic location of the participant or the platform that they’re using (such as a mobile phone vs a PC).

Consult your campaign brief to ensure that your promotion of the sponsorship has the proper limitations. Your brief will also inform you if some of your audience is not eligible to participate.

❓What happens if I don't hit my goals?

The base goal is designed to be easily reachable when the Sponsorship is performed as instructed. If you’re having trouble reaching your goals, we’re here to help, please contact our support team.

❓Can I stop the sponsorship before reaching all of my goals?

You can stop the sponsorship at any time, but your payment will be based on the goals that you have completed and your performance. Once you complete the campaign, you will be notified about your payment status.

❓What affects how much I earn from the campaign?

The amount you earn is calculated based on the number of viewers from your community participating in the promotion. Each new participant is counted towards your goals, and the goals are separated into tiers. The more participants, the more you earn. Check your campaign brief to learn about viewers' requirements to participate in the promotion.

Your payment is also dependent on whether or not you finish the other goal requirements of your specific promotion, such as the use of branded assets and stream time, bot command, bot timer, and Twitch panel. Remember that these goals are not only requirements, but will help boost your performance and help us track your Sponsorship activity.

There are some sponsorships that have variations on the goals and requirements mentioned. Please refer to your brief for any additional requirements for your campaign payment.

❓How do I get paid?

StreamElements is working with an automated invoicing system called Tipalti.

You'll need to follow these steps to ensure that you'll receive your payment on time.

Before starting the campaign, you will be asked to select a region for the bank account to which we will send your earnings. If you previously set up payments, you won't be asked to do so again.
At any point after the initial setup, navigate to the “payment setup” tab (on the right-side navigation) to edit your payment details.

If you’ve set up the payments successfully, your payment will be sent up to 30 days after completing the campaign.

❓How are new participants determined?

Each sponsorship may have a different designation for new participants. For games, players often play up to a specific part of the game, such as to pass the tutorial or progress in levels. For other services, it may be to sign up for a subscription or perform other actions on the service’s platform.

❓How will my community react to my Sponsorship?

While every channel has its unique community, the feedback we received from a diverse range of creators has been incredibly positive. Be honest with your community; they will support you by watching the promotion and participating.
Remind your community that even if they’re trying to be helpful, they should only engage with the promotion if they are genuinely interested in the product.

❓How long does the Sponsorship take?

Check your campaign brief for the specific details of how long you should be promoting the sponsor.

Most Sponsorships require you to promote the sponsor for at least one streaming session. Please note that some Sponsorships will ask you to stream multiple times on different days, so please refer to your brief.

Regardless, you’re not limited to the required time to complete your goals. Those are just the minimum. Feel free to continue to promote the sponsorship to your community and reach your goal for the complete promotion duration.

❓What happens if my viewers already use the product?

For most Sponsorships, participants who already use the product (for example, have downloaded and played the game, or subscribed to the service) will not count towards your goals. They can still contribute by engaging with the rest of the community, sharing tips, helping other viewers through the process, and more.
