hey, have been making a few minor quickcss changes to help make discord feel more normal to me, and found a small wall with one of them. am trying to make the sidebar server list actually extend all the way to the top of the window, but i'm having a hard time getting it to actually layer on top of the title bar.

Hey all, quick question to know if this is just a known issue. Every setting under Vencord is showing something along those lines. I have attempted to use the Vencord installer to reinstall / repair but it gives me an error so I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and it still doesn't seem to fix it.

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

Whenever i keep a stream of VLC on for longer than 15-25 minutes the audio apparently gets reaaallyy buggy and painful to listen to for others. This has been going on for a LONG time (i have reinstalled and upgraded windows versions multiple times for unrelated reasons since)

Hey yall, I downloaded a minecraft font as an otf file, opened it and installed it. How can I add a line of CSS to the quick edit to change the font type?

I am adding " font-family: GG Sans, sans-serif !important; " to my Css and its not doing anything unfortunately

*Note: The GG Sans was just to test if changing fonts work, Changing the font listed to "Minecraft" doesn't work. *

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

There's an issue with the imagezoom plugin right now where you can't move the lens around an image because discord tries to drag and drop the image URL instead and then the lens gets stuck until you single click again - is this a known bug or where can I report it?

Hi, this is not asking about getting the old ui but rather the new one, i had vencord installed > reverted back to old ui > uninstalled, today i just installed vencord back because i completely forgot and i'm still stuck on the "old" ui where the member list was floating, i know they removed the experiment but is there a way to get back to the new one? like would something like completely removing all of vencord files then reinstalling work?

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
